Third Person POV

(The Sky Temple)

Raiden was meditating in his quarters as Kung Lao was telling him the situation with Kitana and Mileena.

Kung Lao: "They were sent to spy on us Lord Raiden, they do not need protection...what is our course of action?"

Raiden then breathes in and out and stands up to face Kung Lao, towering over him by 2 feet.

Raiden: "I know."

Kung Lao was shocked and confused, raising an eyebrow.

Kung Lao: "If you knew...then why accept to bring them here?"

Raiden: "...Follow me, Kung Lao."

The thunder god instructs and they exit his quarters, then walking towards the outside of the temple.

Raiden: "They do not have evil intention...they were taught to not trust Earthrealmers, that they are traitorous and deceiving...which is why I want you and the others to show them that it is not the case."

Kung Lao: "How?"

Raiden: *smiles* "By having a bit of...normalcy."

Kung Lao raised an eyebrow and Raiden put his hand on his shoulder.

Raiden: "You and the others are still young...you must enjoy the time you have...which is way I'm lifting the ban of social interaction...go out in the city...have fun."

Kung Lao smiled then bowed.

Kung Lao: "Thank you, Lord Raiden."

Raiden then teleported Kung Lao back to the yacht.

???: "Are you sure about this brother?"

Raiden turned to see Fujin leaning against a pillar.

Raiden: "Yes, Fujin...I thought you would be more on board."

Fujin: "I am...Just wondering if my stern older brother is suffering from a fever."

Raiden: *chuckles* "Amusing...I want to ask a favor of you brother."

Fujin: "Lemme guess...keep an eye on the kids?"

Raiden: "Yes, but be discrete."

Fujin: "Very well brother."

He states then vanishes in a gust of wind, Raiden then sits down and resumes meditating.

(Cage Family Yacht: Upper Kicks)

Johnny: "Wait, Raiden gave us the okay on this?"

He asked as he was practicing exchanging kicks with Kenshi.

Everyone was out on the deck, listening to what the Shaolin Monk

Kung Lao: "Yes, he has allowed social activities, as long as we're careful."

Scorpion raised an eyebrow, knowing it was not the whole truth.

Scorpion: "What is it, you're not telling us?"

Kung Lao: *sighs* "We must bring the Princesses with us."

Everyone looked at him as he if was insane.

Johnny: "Okay, no offense to Raiden, but why would he send two spies with us to hangout?"

Ermac: "It makes no sense."

Kung Lao: "Raiden believes that there's good in them, and the only things they've heard about Earthrealm is from their parents...he thinks they will change their view if we show them what we have to offer."

Jax: "So the plan is to hangout with them and hope they change their opinion...I'm with Ermac."

Scorpion then stood beside Kung Lao and folded his arms.

Scorpion: "Kung Lao is our leader, and he answers to Lord Raiden...if that is their plan, we will stick to it."

Everyone looked at each other then nodded, understanding.

Johnny: "If that's case, then I'm doing the planning...Jax! You and I got errands!"

He states and they start leaving the Yacht, with Jax being puzzled.

Jax: "What errands?"

Everyone then headed back inside the boat besides Scorpion and Kung Lao who had a small smile.

Kung Lao: "I didn't expect you to agree to the plan."

Scorpion: "I understand Lord Raiden's tactic, it could work..."

Kung Lao: "...There's something else you want to talk about?"

Scorpion: "...Yes...Kitana won't be a problem but her sister will...I request that I see to her personally."

Kung Lao: "You have my permission...but where exactly are you taking her?"

Scorpion: "Far in the city...but not too far."

Kung Lao raised an but nodded and Scorpion headed to his room.

(Walmart)

Johnny grabbing snacks and drinks as Jax was pushing the cart, watching as they were all thrown in.

Jax: "We really need all these for tonight?"

Johnny then threw in one more item and started backing out the asile.

Johnny: "For what I got planned trust me."

He then turns around but then accidentally bumped into a girl, causing her to drop groceries.

Girl: "Watch it!"

Johnny: "Shit my bad, I'm-"

The girl then stood up and Johnny looked at her, admiring her good looks.

Johnny: "...Sorry, let me help."

He states and helps, the girl looks at him.

Girl: "Thanks."

Johny: "You're welcome...name's Cage, Johnny Cage."

Jax: *scoffs* "Great, another Cage victim."

Girl: "And I'm...uninterested."

Johnny was surprised, usually his charms never failed, but this seems to be the first, but nonetheless he keeps his cocky demeanor.

Johnny: "Well I am...c'mon at least tell me your name."

Girl: "Sure...when you tell me your real name."

Johnny: "Johnny Cage is my real name..."

He states his demeanor faltering.

Girl: "Really? Cause it sounds made up."

Thr girl started walking away and Johnny sighed.

Johnny: "It's John...Carlton."

The girl stopped and looked at him, she had a smirk.

Girl: "Sonya."

Johnny had a small smile and the girl walked back up to him.

Johnny: "Y'know me and my friends are going out tonight...would you like to come?"

Sonya: "Depends, where are you going?"

Johnny: "Stick with us...and find out."

He states leaning against the cart, and Sonya sighed.

Sonya: " Well, okay then."

(Cage Family Yacht)

Everyone was waiting in the living room for Johnny and Jax to return as they were dressed in casual outfits.

Kung Lao was wearing a long-sleeve white t-shirt with jeans and black converse, with his hat strapped to his back, the edge not bladed.

Kenshi wore a black dress shirt, with a red blazer and black pants, and combat boots, hiding Sento in his blazer, and wearing shades.

Scorpion was dressed in a yellow hoodie and black leather jacket, black cargo pants and black tabi shoe with yellow soles, wearing his mask, his kunai, hidden.

Smoke wore his mask, his gray hair cut into a low fade, wearing a grey long-sleeve compression shirt and a black sleeveless hoodie, having his daggers hid in his hoodie.

Sub-Zero was dressed in a black and blue hoodie, his white hair cut into a high top, wearing white cargo pants and combat boots.

Noob wore all black, wearing a black hoodie, black cargo pants, and black combat boots, hiding his scythe, wearing his mask

Ermac was dressed in red hoodie, the hoodie covering his head and his mask covering his face, with black pants and red converse.

Smoke: "How much longer till they get back?"

Sub-Zero: "Johnny just texted me...he says he's bringing a date, and dont be weird...especially Ermac."

He states and looks over to Ermac who had an offended but understandable look.

Then lightning struck, Kitana and Mileena appearing in their usual attire.

They looked at everyone, confused at everyone's appearance.

Kitana: "What are you all wearing?"

Kung Lao: "These are causual clothing."

Noob: "And you two won't blend in wearing...that shit."

He stated as they were wearing their attire that was revealing at their shoulders, legs and chest area.

Mileena: "Then what we will wear?"

Scorpion then throws them two bags of clothes, puzzling them.

Scorpion: "Get dressed...you and I are going...out."

He states then the two sisters go inside the boat, to change.

"DING!"

Sub-Zero looked at his phone, receiving another text from Johnny.

Sub-Zero: *sighs* "We gotta leave."

Kenshi: "What did the text say?"

Sub-Zero: "He said "Me and Jax at this kick ass diner, with my date, Sonya, either take one of the cars or teleport here...whatever, see ya soon."

Kung Lao: "We'll take the truck...Scorpion, text me as soon as you get to where you're going."

Scorpion: "I got it."

Kitana and Mileena come out the yacht wearing casual clothes.

Kitana was dressed in an blue crop with a black skirt that stopped at her thigh with leggings with her blue heels.

Mileena had her hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a pink sweater, white pants and pink heels.

Noob: "Better...now can we get out of here?"

Kung Lao: "Yes, we shall."

(Greg's Diner)

Johnny was eating apple pie, and drinking a milkshake as Jax ate a burger and fries, Sonya simply ate a salad, having a small smile on her face.

Johnny: "Dude, (chews) this pie is fucking amazing."

Jax: "Yeah, I bet, keep eating and you're going need to wear a belt."

Johnny: "Hahaha, fuck you."

Sonya: "Is this where you and your friends normally hangout?"

Johnny: "Nah, mostly at my yacht."

Sonya: *snickers* "Really? A yacht?"

Jax: "He's not bullshiting, we all live at the yacht."

Sonya raised an eyebrow then the others came in through the door.

Johnny: "Hey, you guys made it!"

Kenshi: "Y'Know, I was not expecting for you to be posted at a diner."

Johnny: "Trust me, this place is fire...speaking of fire, where's our resident hothead at? And Mileena?"

Kung Lao: "He's and her went...out.".

Johnny laughed then looked at Sonya and back the others.

Johnny: "Guys, this is my date, Sonya...Sonya these are my friends, and people who on my yacht, rent free...guy with the ponytail is Kung Lao, other guy wearing shades is Kenshi, the all black emo is Bi-Han, the one in blue is his brother Kuai, dude in grey is Thomas, the shy but cool guy is Ermac...oh yea and there's Kitana."

He introduced and everyone sat down at the counter or on the booth.

Kitana looked around, uncomfortable.

Kitana: "Must we be here? It is...unsavory."

Sub-Zero chuckled, and Kitana looked at him.

Sub-Zero: "To you maybe...but it's normal."

He states then a waiter comes to counter.

Waiter: "What can I get y'all?"

Kitana was confused then Sub-Zero spoke up.

Sub-Zero: "She'll have a burger and fries, I will the bacon and eggs."

Waiter: *smiles* "I'll get right on it."

Kitana gave Sub-Zero an uncertain look, who had a smile plastered under his mask.

Sub-Zero: "Trust me...worth it."

Kitana: "Fine...but I have a question."

Sub-Zero: "Shoot."

Kitana: "Where has your friend, taken my sister?"

(Golden Gate Bridge)

Mileena was standing up, her eyes closed, as Scorpion stood beside her.

Scorpion: "You may open them."

He says as Mileena opens her eyes and saw she was on top of the bridge, looking at the city.

Scorpion: "What do you think?"

Mileena: "It's...beautiful."

Scorpion: "A lot of Earthrealm is...if you look past It's flaws, then you see it has potential."

Mileena then laughed and looked at him.

Mileena: "You only took me out, so you could change my mind on Earthrealm."

Scorpion then sat on the ledge, and looked over the city.

Scorpion: "Yeah, but also...why did you kiss me?"

Mileena: "Seduction, why else?"

She states and Scorpion chuckles.

Scorpion: "That all?"

Mileena: "Positive."

Scorpion: "...Fine...but just know, I know things about you to."

Mileena: *scoffs* "Like what?"

Scorpion: "That you're a half-breed...I don't know what, but there's an magic aura that I can feel."

He states, then gets up to see a surprised Mileena.

Scorpion: "I'm going back to everyone, or would you like to stay?"

Mileena looked back at the city and smirked.

Mileena: "Let's go."

(Greg's Diner)

Everyone was eating, and talking while making jokes, even Noob was having fun, in his own way.

Scorpion and Mileena came in and sit down at the counter, Sub-Zero and Scorpion fistbumped and Mileena sat next to Kitana.

Sub-Zero: "So, where'd you guys go?"

Scorpion: "Golden Gate Bridge."

Sub-Zero: *surprised* "Didn't take you for a sights person."

Mileena: "Kitana...what are you eating?"

She asks, looking at the 3rd burger Kitana had in her hands.

Kitana: "Sister, you must try this, it is amazing!"

Scorpion raised an eyebrow and looked at Sub-Zero, who shrugged.

Sub-Zero: "I got her hooked on burgers."

Scorpion nodded, and Kung Lao took a sip from his water, a waitress walked up to him, a girl with brown hair, close to his age.

Waitress: "So, who's paying for all the food?"

Kung Lao checked his pockets and didn't have enough cash, he then looked at Johnny and back at the Waitress.

Kung Lao: "Put it on his tab."

Waitress: "Got it...anything else?"

Kung Lao: "No, but thank you...Sarah."

Sarah raised an eyebrow and Kung Lao nervously chuckled.

Kung Lao: "I saw your tag."

Sarah: *chuckles* "Right...and you are?"

Kung Lao: "I'm Kung Lao."

Sarah: "Well, Kung Lao...stop by anytime."

She states then puts down a recepit, and goes back into the kitchen, Kung Lao picked it up and saw a phone on the back, he smiled and pocketed the number.

Johnny then stood up, getting everyone's attention.

Johnny: "Everybody done? Good! Cause we're going somewhere else...you'll love it."

Kenshi: "Feels like a stretch."

Johnny: "Well it's not...Follow me!"

He states and back outs the door, everyone else starts to leave except for Kung Lao and Scorpion who looked at a figure, wearing a hat and trench coat.

Scorpion: "Was that the best you could do, Lord Fujin?"

Fujin then took off his hat and looked at them.

Fujin: *chuckles* "That bad?"

Kung Lao: "Very."

The two then stood up and started walking out, but looked back at Fujin.

Kung Lao: "You're staying?"

Fujin: "Yes...I would very much like to try the food here."

Scorpion: "Okay then."

The two then left, leaving the God of Wind to himself.

Fujin: "I would the cheesburger deluxe with a chocolate milkshake, please."
