Winter Soldier jumped off a building and ran after Karli. Above, Falcon flew and crashed down through the glass ceiling of the building the other Flag Smashers and Captain America were in.

Falcon saw Dovich being kicked an unhuman amount of feet away by Captain America.

Dovich tried to hit him with a metal pole, but Captain America bent it in half.

"Oh, shit." Dovich said and Falcon realized Captain America took the serum.

Then Captain America kicked Dovich away, who ran.

"What'd you do?" Falcon asked.

"They've got Lemar." Captain America said and Sam ran after him.

Then Lemar woke up and tried to break free. He grabbed a knife from his pants and untied himself. Then Winter Soldier ran up the stairs but was attacked by a Flag Smasher and Winter Soldier kicked him away, and he fell down the stairs.

Then Winter Soldier jumped down to him and kicked him through a brick wall and the Flag Smasher fell unconscious.

"Stay there," Winter Soldier said.

Meanwhile Walker and Falcon ran into a room, and the Flag Smasher jumped onto their backs. They fought the Flag Smashers and one of them pulled out a knife.

"What's with all the knives?" Captain America asked.

Then Lemar finally broke free of his zip ties.

Meanwhile, Captain America, Falcon, and Winter Soldier were still fighting the Flag Smashers. One of the Flag Smashers hit a knife on the shield and Captain America flicked it away with the shield and Winter Soldier caught it in the air.

Then he saw another Flag Smasher ready to fight him with a knife. They fought, and Winter Soldier threw him to the ground. Winter Soldier twirled the knife in his hand and threw it near the Flag Smasher's face.

Meanwhile Falcon was fighting another Flag Smasher and kicked her. A Flag Smasher was about to hit him from behind, but Winter Soldier punched him.

"You're welcome." Winter Soldier said.

Meanwhile Nico held Captain America from behind while Karli ran into the room with a knife. She ran towards Captain America, but Lemar caught her midway. She punched him and he flew into the air and smashed his back into a column. The impact was so forceful that he was killed instantly.

Everyone looked at Lemar, stunned, especially Captain America, who was devastated.

Then he broke free of Nico's grip and ran towards Lemar.

"Hey. Hey. Hey. Lemar. Lemar." Captain America said and shook him.

Then Karli took off her mask, lost for words. Then she and the other Flag Smashers ran out and Falcon ran after her while Captain America slowly got up from Lemar's body and Winter Soldier watched.

Then Captain America smashed through the window, landing on a van to see Nico running away and ran after him followed by Winter Soldier. Nico threw a heavy stone at Captain America, but he smashed through it with the shield.

"Where is she?" Captain America yelled as he threw the shield at Nico's back.

Nico flew forward and Captain America hit him again, and Nico flew back, landing on the steps of a statue.

Then Captain America held Nico down with his foot.

"It wasn't me! It wasn't me!" Nico yelled and Walker getting ready to aim again but was stopped by Winter Soldier catching it.

"He didn't kill Lemar, John." Winter Soldier said and shook his head. "Don't go down that road. Believe me, it doesn't end well."

"I'm not like you." Walker said and everyone around him gasped and flinched in shock.

"You're making a mistake." Winter Soldier said, looked at the blood-stained shield then Captain America and they jumped into action.

Then Falcon caught up to them and looked stunned as he saw what was going on.

Meanwhile Karli was in the crowd, utterly horrified while everyone recorded Captain America and Winter Soldier on their phones.

Then Winter Soldier hit Walker with his Vibranium arm, and Walker tried to kick him but he dodged and tried to take the shield away from Captain America, but he smacked Winter Soldier in the face.

Captain America began to hit Winter Soldier with the shield, but Winter Soldier kicked his arm away and kept hitting the shield with his Vibranium arm, and Captain America fought him. Eventually, they held onto the shield as Captain America growled.

Captain America yelled and threw the shield towards Winter Soldier, who flew back towards a pole while they fought over the shield again.

"Why are you making me do this?" Captain America yelled.

Winter Soldier's face was strained and Captain America threw him into an electricity box, and his Vibranium arm twitched as he collapsed and winced.

"We could've been a team," Captain America said while Winter Soldier turned to look at him. "I am Captain America!"

"No. You're. Not!" Winter Soldier said and tackled him.

Then they punched each other, and Captain America tried to hit Winter Soldier with the shield but Winter Soldier punched him in the face.

Then he grabbed Captain America's arm holding the shield breaking it, and held him in place while Captain America screamed in pain as Winter Soldier got the shield.

"It's mine!" Captain America yelled and punched Winter Soldier.

But Winter Soldier punched him back using his Vibranium arm, caught his leg and swung him towards the shield.

Then he panted heavily, grabbed the blood-stained shield and looked at Falcon looking back.

"If you won't do it, then I will." Winter Soldier said and walked away.

Falcon watched him and thought about what he said.

He knew the shield was the closest thing to Steve Bucky had and he was angry.

"Steve should've given it to Bucky." he whispered shaking his head.

He knew Steve wanted him because he's just like him but he also knows Bucky has more experience with things like this and is a Super Soldier.

When he worked with Steve on finding Bucky he read Bucky's file and knew what he can do that Sam can't.

"Steve, you made a hell of a mistake leaving him." he said, got up and left.
