Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 01 Episode 01
We start out seeing someone jumping across rooftops as he get closer into view and once there we see that he were wearing a red and dark blue costume with the red part having webbing patterns across it while he were running past. He then jumped down off of the roof and launch out a white rope that was sticking to the buildings much like a spider silk and he'd began to swing from it. He then begin to run across the side of a building having fun before swinging again letting go at the furthest point in their swing and landing atop a building holding onto the pole that was perched atop it.
"Only one thing would make my last night of Summer Vacation perfect." The guy spoke thinking aloud while watching the city below before hearing an alarm ringing and says "And there it is." before jumping from the building and swinging off.
We see two people with bags atop the roof of a jewlery store and one of them tries to jump off to the next building but they were caught mid air by the spiderlike webbing as they were then pulled back with a red light flashing onto the second guy who complains "Not again."
That's when our red and blue clad guy responds "Yup, again. So what is this, like the third time now Marco?" talking to the second guy that was there.
The first guy behind him had strugged to get free calling "Just wait till I get my hands on you you skinny little creep!" being mad and threatening them.
The guy however just jumps down turning off the light as he does so and questions "So, Marco. What do you think about the Spider-Signal?" while dodging the bag of jewels that they'd swung to try to attack him. "It's my first night trying it out and I'm not really sure if it says Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. As someone I've taken down multiple times now I'm curious about your thoughts."
Marco tried to swing the bag again but the guy, who'd called himself Spider-Man dodged again and used his webbing to pull the bag that had been dropped by the other guy towards them hitting Marco in the back and knocking him over before webbing their hands and feet together making sure they were nice and tight before asking "So, opinions?"
Though they'd groaned about being caught by this guy again Marco still chose to answer the question saying "It's campy if you ask me, like something out of a sixties cartoon."
We then cut to the next day and see a guy with brown hair and and eyes getting dressed seeing that he had a single freckle under his left eye saying "Alright new school year new you." while pulling a long sleeve shirt over the same outfit that was worn by the guy last night revealing they were one and the same.
As he was headed downstairs he'd overheard a woman speaking saying "I just don't know what to do Anna, we're almost out of money."
This surprised him as he'd looked at a photo of himself with a man that had gray hair and blue eyes as another voice, presumably that of Anna had spoken saying "May I'm sure Ben would ha"Ben Parker was many wonderful things but a financial wizard he was not."" the first woman, called May, had interrupted the other woman while she was speaking saying that sadly wasn't the case.
"I'm sure we'll manage somehow, but please not a word of this to Peter. I don't want him to worry about that when he should be studying." May then spoke worried more about him than about herself.
The guy then cleared his throat and went into the kitchen saying "I'm headed off to school now." acting as if everything was normal.
"Peter, don't forget your lunch." May spoke holding up a paper bag with the guy taking it revealing that he's the one she was talking about.
"Thanks Aunt May, headed off now. Miss Anna nice to see you again." he'd spoken taking the bag and then gave a nod to the other woman before then heading on out, though he'd missed the bus it wasn't really that big of a deal anymore to them.
We see Peter then rushing off to an alleyway and jumping reaching up to a wall and sticking to it pulling himself up and jumping again getting to the top of the roof and pulling up his overshirt seeing the costume. We then cut to them swinging across the city cutting past several streets that the bus had to go down and he'd gotten to the school rooftop before changing back and jumping down around the back so no one would see.
"Alright new school year, after this I gotta start looking for a paying job." Peter had spoke to himself while cutting around towards a different school entrance than the front one.
"Yo Pete, seems great minds think alike." a guy spoke waving and going over to him along with a blonde girl.
"Yo, Harry, Gwen." Peter called out waving to the two of them too. "So, how'd summer treat the two of you?"
"Science camp was fun." The girl, Gwen, spoke telling them about her summer. "I learned some new stuff but most of it I already knew."
"The World Tour was boring. My dad spent most of the time in virtual meetings." The guy, Harry spoke up next. "So, side entrance to avoid Flash and his goons?"
"Yup, let's just hope they matured at least a little over the summer." Peter answered back as they were headed on inside.
"Well, miracles do happen on occasion." Gwen answered back as the three of them laughed headed off getting their schedules and going to the classroom.
They'd walked over to the classroom and started hearing talking as someone says "Alright, the minute Puny Parker and the nerd squad show up we douse them." and Peter had peeked through the door seeing that some guys with football jackets were preparing to throw water balloons.
Looking to the side there was some thumbtacks on a cork board and he'd removed them and thrown them at the balloons being held making them pop onto the three guys in the jackets instead. This had made the other two try to hold back laughter as the blond guy questions "What just happened?"
Peter gestured for the two to move back and then opens the door saying "Sweating the tests already Flash?" referring to the blond specifically.
This made them angry and Flash called out "GET HIM!" and they'd chased after Peter who'd run off with the jocks on his heels as Harry and Gwen slipped into the classroom.
Peter turned down a hallway and ran over towards the side stairs with the Jocks chasing him. They'd looked around and began to run down the steps thinking that he'd ran down them to get away, however we then see Peter sliding into frame upside down before turning himself rightside up and see that he was dangling from a web line and he'd smirked about the outcome.
We then get the bell ringing with the Flash and the other two coming in and the teacher calling out "You are late." to them.
"It wasn't our fault, Parker"WAS siting in his seat when I walked into the room."" Flash began to complain but the teacher interrupted saying that Peter had been there in class the whole time as far as he'd known. "Now take your seats."
Sometime later the class had ended and the teacher called "Chapter one by tomorrow everyone. Oh uh, Miss Stacy, Mister Parker a qick word please?" He'd told them all before asking Peter and Gwen to stay for a moment. "Do you either of you remember the field trip to the laboratory last year?"
Peter thinks back to this remembering that was when he got bit by a spider and gained his powers but doesn't say anything vocally instead rubbing his hand and saying "That's one field trip I'll never forget."
"Well, they were looking to taking on a couple of interns at the lab and I reccomended my two best students, you start today so hurry on out." The teacher then told them saying they've got an internship at the labs.
Later on Peter was hanging out with Harry at the latter's home talking about stuff and Peter says "I gotta find a way to earn some cash and still make time for the internship and my studdies so I don't fall behind in my grades."
"Well, maybe the internship is paid, might wanna ask." Harry spoke saying that Peter should ask if the internship was paid or not.
"I highly doubt that, still it'd be nice to have a way make some money." Peter answered back saying that he's fairly certain that's not the case.
"Boys, come out here!" Harry's dad then called surprising the two as they'd come outside to the terrace where Norman was. "I couldn't help overhearing about what you're up to."
"I'm sorry Mr. Osborn I"Don't apologize Peter, after all I never do."" Harry's dad spoke cutting Peter off when he'd started to apologize. "So what's this about an internship?"
"I'll be working at Dr. Connor's as a part of an internship program." Peter then explained before going on to say "Problem is while doing that I won't be able to find a job, do the internship, and still have time to study to keep up my grades."
"Try Freelancing, you can set your own schedule and won't be expected to work any hours as a part of staff." Harry's dad told them saying he should try to take up a freelancing gig.
They suddenly hear someone yelling out "NORMAN!" as a guy in a red and black flying suit flew by using claws in the feet of his boots to grab Harry's dad, now revealed to be named Norman and flies off with them.
"Harry go call the cops." Peter says and Harry does so running inside. Peter meanwhile jumped from the building once Harry couldn't see them anymore.
A short bit later we see Norman falling from the sky and Spider-Man had swung by grabbing him saying "You guys play Hot Potato hardcore."
The guy yells out "No one gets the best of the Vulture, these skies are mine now!" and flies off after them angry that Norman didn't drop like he'd wanted.
"He's probably right about that really I just rent." Spider-Man then spoke as they were swinging from building to building switching back and forth between which arm held Norman in place. "Y'know you're the first Damsel in Distress I've ever actually rescued."
""Who are you?"" Both Norman and the Vulture spoke at the same time wanting to know just who this guy was exactly.
"I'm just your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man." Our wall crawler then stated to them sticking to the side of a building and crawling forwards a bit before then jumping and swinging off again.
"Spider-Man? I thought you were a myth." Vulture spoke flying after them trying to catch up to him and Norman.
"Guess you were Mythtaken." Spider-Man calls back but the webbing was cut by Vulture's wings sending him and Norman falling towards the ground.
We see some cops walking out of a building and hear a call of "Heads up!" as Spider-Man swung down letting Norman go dropping him onto one of the cops before swinging off with the Vulture chasing after him. After they'd gotten Norman inside Vulture had no choice but to fly away.
Later on Peter was talking on the phone while walking to a building saying "It's great your dad is okay, but I gotta go Gwen's giving me the look for being late." before hanging up.
"I wasn't giving you the look." Gwen shot back as they'd headed into the building though she was still annoyed.
"Ya, but I am late right?" Peter then questioned checking the time on his phone to see if he'd made it or not.
"Always Bro." A blond guy with dark blue eyes wearing a black jacket spoke coming over to talk to the two of them.
"Eddie!" Gwen spoke hugging the guy glad to see him and he'd hugged her back with one arm.
"So what are you doing here?" Peter spoke as the two of them bumped fists in greeting wanting to know why they were there.
"I work here now, just started as Doctor Connors' lab assistant." The guy, Eddie, then stated saying that he's working at the lab too.
"Speaking of work, I need a way to get some cash, Mr. Osborn said I should try Freelancing, you got any ideas?" Peter then explained the situation about needing some cash.
"Still got your camera from working at the paper? I hear old Jay Jonah Jameson is offering cash for photos." Eddie then suggested to him and Peter nodded thinking that'd be a good idea. "Oh, guys, this is Martha and Curtis Connors it's their lab."
"It's nice to meet you." Peter spoke holding out his hand and Curt shook it with the same hand as his other was fake. "How come you're toting that hunk of wood around?" He'd asked gesturing to the wooden limb that Curt has.
"I lost it in an accident, we're working on developing a serum to help regrow lost limbs here in the labs." Curt explained to them about his missing arm.
"I think Peter means why don't you have a cybernetic prosthetic? You can get them through the plumber or other legitimate businesses around the Extra Terrestrial Community." Gwen then explained what Peter had meant.
"I tried to tell him the Galvan have the technology to regrow it, but Dr. Connors is actually trying to streamline the process." Eddie explained to them about all this stuff in the lab.
Later on Spider-Man was swinging on through the city when something in his braid had started to warn him about something and he'd said "Spider-Sense, now?" turning in time for a missile to launch a net at him and dropping him onto a building with a call of "Ow."
Two people then dropped down next to him he'd ripped through the net and began to fight with them as the vulture flew by and the smaller one says "Time to squash this insect."
"Arachnid actually, and I really don't have time for this so.." Spider-Man then corrected and gave a salute wave as he'd run off tackling the larger one and knocking him into the antennai on the roof and out of his way staring to swing off.
Another guy in a helecopter says "You're making the enforcers look bad and we can't have that!" while chasing after him.
"Now there's an idea." Spider-Man though aloud and webbed Vulture on the back pulling himself down to them and landing on their back calling "Surfs up!" before grabbing and pulling on their wings making them fly upwards away from the car they were after.
He then makes them swing wide and hit the metal wings on the suit onto the smaller stabilizing propeller on the Helicopter sending them both towards the ground now. He'd left Vulture webbed up and had swung by webbing the other two guys up as well but the third guy was missing from the Hilicopter when he'd gone to check.
"Three outa four ain't bad today." He'd spoken swinging off going off to get back to the house trying to sneak in but Aunt May had come downstairs when he was doing so. "Sorry I'm late Aunt May. First day of school, starting an internship, and some crazy guy in a flying suit causing a traffic jam on my way back home." Peter then apologized. "Tried to call but I forgot to charge my phone last night and it died before I could get it to ring."
