"You're a liar." I said out loud.

"That's what I was thinking right now. I should have been a liar." He said, "I should have never told you about that night."

"Excuse me?" I got up, "So you think the problem is that you said the truth and not that you cheated on me!"

"I never denied the actual problem," he said, "But I was just thinking about the possibilities, and this scenario seemed pretty good to me. We'd have been living happily in that case!"

"Oh, so you think it'd have been great to make a fool of me! Are you sure that you wouldn't have cheated on some other time?" I snapped.

"No, I wouldn't have." He said, "You're not even trying to understand what really happened..."

"I don't want the details!" I said, "My husband cheated on me, and that's enough information for me!"

"Bella, I know I have hurt you... I will never forgive myself for making you suffer like this! I hate cheating! I..." He said.

"And yet you did." I said.

"And I hate myself for that." He said, "I don't know what I can do... How can I make you understand... Anyway, I'm not letting you go anywhere. I'm going to keep..."

"Excuse me? You told me about thirty minutes ago that you're not going to stop me," I said.

"Yes, I said that." He said, "But those thirty minutes were enough to make me realize that I can't live without you."

"No, those thirty minutes gave you time to think about how you could have hidden it from me!" I snapped, "And anyways, not everything has to be about you! I want to leave, and I will."

"No, I wasn't thinking about how I'd have made a fool of you. I was thinking about the scenarios in which I wouldn't be losing you." he said, "I love you and I can't live without you."

"Just like how you loved Angela and how you couldn't live without her?" I said.

He dropped his head in defeat.

"Alright! Go wherever the fuck you want! I'm not going to stop you!" He said.
