Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 01 Episode 06

We see some thugs driving away in a vehicle as someone had been calling for help and we see Spider-Man swinging up above them and we then cut to the Thugs saying "Spidey's too busy worrying about actual big bads to worry about us."

Spider-Man then looked down at them from the front windshield saying "Y'know what they say about speaking of the Devil right?" with his hands up against the glass. He then flips over onto the hood and says "You should put on your seatbelt, and you should pull over." talking to the guy in the passenger seat and the driver.

"No way." The guy in the passenger side says leaning out the window trying to shoot at Spider-Man as they'd sped past some cops who turned on their sirens and began to go after them.

Spider-Man kicked the gun from his hand then kicked him in the side of the head while the driver pulled the leaver to pop the hood making it catapult Spider-Man into the air. Though Spidey had webbed the hood and yanked ripping it off it's hinges. then webbed the back of the car calling "Surfs up!" using the hood as a means to surf across the ground and up the side of a building.

Once he'd gotten airborne he'd pulled himself to the top of the car and webbed up the motor bits making them malfunction and squirt oil onto the front windshield making them unable to see and causing them to drive up the side of a loading ramp in an alleyway, though they didn't come down. We then see the goons were all webbed up and the car was suspended into the air by his webbing like a fly caught in a spider's web. Spider-Man then swung off and we cut to later at the Daily Bugle.

"So, Betty what'd your friend say?" Peter asked sitting on the desk wondering if she'd been able to contact the redhead she'd talked about previously.

"I did, she says she's got other engagements, something about a family friend's nephew." She'd answered back and Peter sighed hearing that as Jameson came out of his office.

"Parker, I asked for front page shots, this stuff belongs in the funny pages!" Jameson yelled at him and we see the photos from the car being webbed up.

"So.. you don't want them then?" Peter questioned looking at his boss wanting to know what was up exactly.

"Not the point, what is the point? The point is stop flirting with my Secretary and get me a page one blowout!" Jameson responds telling him to get out and go get him photos.

"Trust me Mr. Jameson, when Spider-Man goes into action I'll be there." Peter spoke as we see half his face fade to that of his mask before returning to normal "Oh, and I wasn't flirting."

Peter had swung on home in his Spider-Man costume and hid so no one could see, then went on in with an exhausted sigh taking out the cash for the photos that he'd taken passing it over to Aunt May who counted it out and asked "Peter what's wrong?"

"Just exhausted that's all." Peter answered back telling her he was feeling exhuasted. "Still don't have a date for the formal, probably won't go."

"Are you sure? You could still take Anna's Niece Mary Jane. I mentioned it the other day and she seemed interested." May asked in response while also mentioning that she'd been talking about the dance with Anna and her niece.

"Well.. maybe. We'll see." Peter answered just about ready to give up and say yes to meeting this mystery Mary Jane with the wonderful personality. He'd gone up the stairs and thrown his stuff onto the bed before then grabbing at his sides in pain grunting out trying to not alarm Aunt May about what's going on pulling up his shirts to look at his sides again finding the bruising had seemed to get worse with bumps starting to form.

We then see the next day at school that Harry was in a good mood while he and Peter were having lunch together, though Peter was slightly distracted by what's been going on he still played it off asking "What's got you in such a good mood."

Harry responds "I'm going to the school dance with Glory Grant." and waves at the girl he'd just mentioned with her waving back to him.

"Dude, nice. Wish I could say the same." Peter responded saying that he hadn't found a date yet.

"Puny Parker without a date, why am I not surprised." Flash teased having walked by hearing the conversation messing up Peter's hair and flicking him on the back of the head as he did so.

"Hey, I can get a date." Peter responded telling them that he could find someone to take to the fall formal.

"Ya right, I bet you show up with no date, that is if you even bother to show up with a date at all." Flash answered back stating he doesn't believe Peter could get a date.

"I'll take that bet Flash, looser dresses as a cheerleader for Halloween." Peter responds making a bet with Flash.

"You're on." Flash answered back holding out his hand which Peter took to shake and Flash began to squeeze, though Peter did the same and we see Flash's face contort into one of pain saying "Ow ow ow!"

Peter then lets go saying "Sorry, sometimes I don't know my own strength." Then turns to leave since it was almost time to get back to class.

Spider-Man had swung to the Bugle and changed out of costume unnoticed going in and seeing some freak in a Rhino costume harrassing Jameson holding him up by his shirt collar as Jameson questions "How may I be of service?"

"GET ME THIS B. R. PERSON! Now." the guy in the rhino suit spoke and Jameson looked over at Peter.

Jameson says "B. R. I've never actually met them, no address to send the mail to we only communicate by email." while making a quite gesture with his hand for Peter to get out of there not wanting to see him hurt.

Peter slips away and goes out the door to the stairs where there wasn't any cameras changing into his costume and going out one of the stairway windows used for ventalation in case of fire. and swung around to the other side.

The Rhino guy picks up Betty's Desk holding it above Jameson's head questioning "Do you think I'm stupid or something?"

Spider-Man then comes in through one of the open windows saying "Well you are dressed stupid." while webbing them in the eyes making them drop the desk. "So what do you want with this B. R. person?"

The guy in the rhino costume says "You, just you. For all the times you took me down." while ripping the webbing from his eyes.

"O'Hirn?" Spider-Man questioned hearing that while looking at them confused if it was him or not given the getup.

"Not anymore, call me RHINO!" they'd answered back throwing another desk breaking through the doors of Jameson's office and breaking his desk along with the other one.

"Watch it, glass doors are expensive!" Jameson called out angry as Spider-Man and Rhino continued to fight, though it seemed that Spider-Man couldn't get through that armor coating.

"Great, first Marko, now you? This Big Man must really be desparate to get rid of me." Spider-man stated deciding to change tactics and blasted them in the face with a fire extingquisher blinding them and punching him in the face, which wasn't covered by the suit sending him busting through a wall and free falling down into the street with Spider-Man following.

The Rhino had busted thorugh the stree standing up in a puddle of water dusting himself off saying "Thrill ride." and then began to attack the cops throwing a car that Spider-Man had webbed up to a few different poles though it'd snapped them and had dropped down on them.

We then see someone phasing up through the car and appearing with the Detective questioning "Who are you?"

The girl that'd helped him says "Danielle Phantom, and this is Cujo." while gesturing to a rather large green dog that had chased after the Rhino being twice Rhino's size and biting down on their arm shaking them about violently.

"Put me down freak." Rhino demanded punching Cujo in the snout trying to break free of their jaws.

"Introductions later, fight bad guy now." Spider-Man stated to them as Cujo dropped Rhino letting go and making them faceplant onto the ground. "I got an idea, follow me."

They'd followed after and Rhino began to chase after them calling "Get back here freaks I'll destory all of you for getting in my way!"

"You guys deal with the collateral make sure no one gets hurt. YO, HIPPO LET'S GO ALREADY!" Spider-Man called with the other two doing that as Rhino continued to chase after him. "C'mon O'Hirn, don't tell me you're slowing down already!" He'd called as his sides began hurting again and he'd dropped to the ground with Rhino throwing him into a sporting goods store.

Spider-Man tried pulling down a rack of bowling balls while trying to distract them long enough for his sides to stop hurting, though Rhino just stomped through the bowling balls and makes it over to him saying "I'm gonna enjoy this." whild holding his food above Spider-Man's head.

"Wait, wait." Spider-Man called waving his arms distracting them and then webbed up behind the Rhino calling "WEIGHT!" and pulled down the shelves of weights that we behind them on top of Rhino angering him as he'd busted through and Rhino then tries to find something to cool off. "Just as I thought, no where to sweat through but his face." and webs up the drinks pulling the shelves higher so Rhino couldn't reach and webbed them to the ceiling with the doors facing upwards so nothing could fall out.

He'd then began to run around the City Webbing up one of the dumpsters outside and pulled it into the Rhino knocking him into a wall before taking off with O'Hirn getting mad and continuing to chase after him, though he appeared to be slowing down and the two went underground with Rhino trying to attack the web head. Spider-Man dodged the attacks and every time the Rhino hit something steam would blast out at them making their overheating worse. He'd then webbed up more of the pipes and ripped them open aiming them at O'Hirn overheating him and causing them to drop.

"Impressive." Danielle spoke phasing down through the ceiling seeing that the Rhino had collapsed from overheating.

"So, O'Hirn feel like sharing what you know about the Big Man?" Spider-Man questioned the delerious Rhino.

"We don't use the B word.. call him Mr. Lincoln." Rhino spoke before passing out. We then see Danielle phasing Spider-Man out to the cops.

"You guys are gonna need a crane for this guy." Spider-Man told the cops and then swung off to go have a little chat with Danielle. "So, ready to tell me why exactly you're here? Last time I checked Danielle Phantom was a part of team Phantom, and you're a long way from Amity Park."

"I was asked to investigate you by Ben10, wanted me to report back what I could find out." Danielle answered back about what exactly she and Cujo was doing.

"Oh really, Hero of Heroes Ben10 asked about little o'l me I'm flattered. So do I pass or what?" Spider-Man responded about that asking what she'd thought.

"We'll see." She spoke flying up into the air. "Alright Cujo, let's go home and report back to Ben. Bye Spider-Man." Danielle then stated waving goodye as she and Cujo had gone off to do their own thing now.

Spider-Man then swings back to the Bugle and changed into his civilian attire unnoticed and went into the building taking the elevator and going to the main part of the Bugle building at the top saying "Is it safe?" while going in seeing everyone.

"PARKER Where the heck did you get off to!?" Jameson demanded to know from where he was hanging from the cieling.

"I escaped out of the stairway when you gestured for me to leave. When Rhino began chasing Spider-Man around the city I chased after since I knew you'd want some photos." He'd responded holding up the photos to show them.

"Well, at least SOMEONE can do something right. Robbie, get the pictures Parker, get back out there!" Jameson spoke from where they were still trying to get him down.

"Sure Thing Mr. Jameson." Peter spoke turning to leave and went to speak to one of the other guys leaving.

"Now that's a kid that knows his stuff." Jameson spoke as they'd finally managed to snap enough of the webbing for him to fall onto the floor.

"Uh, Mr. Foswell." Peter then spoke getting the guy's attention. "Do you happen to know a Mr. Lincoln, probably goes under the name Big Man?"

"You must mean L. Thomson Lincoln, there's rumors about it ever couple of years or so but nothing ever sticks." The man responded to them.

We then see Spider-Man swinging into an office, webbing up some body guards and then landing on the desk saying. "I'm here to see Mr. Lincoln."

"Well, I suppose I can make an exception for the hero of the day." The person in the chair says turning around revealing that he had pale skin white hair and sharp teeth. "I am L. Thomson Lincoln."

"Cut to the chase, you're the Big Man right?" Spider-Man responded saying to stop wasting time.

"I've been called many things. My favorite is Tombstone." The man spoke standing up though Spider-Man wasn't intimidated.

"You don't scare me Tombstone." Spider-Man spoke and the Big Man went to strike him knocking them off of his desk and walked over putting his foot on his chest.

"Don't move, and I'll teach you the facts of life." He'd spoken as Spider-Man webbed a billiard ball over at thier head, but they'd crushed it in their hand before it could hit. "The Big Man, whomever they are, has nothing against heroes. No hero can thwart enough crime to dent his income, but you? You frighten criminals off the streets entirely, except when you're off fighting the likes of Rhino. The Big Man's profitable army of petty thugs think they're beneath your radar."

"So as long as I keep fighting Criminals, you're gonna keep making bigger and badder"Now you're starting to catch on. So here's the deal I'll let you keep saving the world and doing your heroics. I'll even pay you and all you have to do is look the other way on occasion, any occasion I choose."" Tombstone stated showing a briefcase full of cash.

"Sorry but I can't look the other way ever again." Spider-Man then responded saying it was no deal for him.

"Very well then we'll play it the hard way." Tombstone spoke pushing a button making cops come in and Spider-Man swung off saying "No way I'm dealing with Cops on his payroll."

We then cut to later on as Detective George Stacy was coming out of a resturant with his daughter Gwen and Spider-Man landed atop the car. "Detective, a word."

"I'll even pay you, all you have to do is look the other way on occasion, any occasion I choose." a recording played back on a tape that Spider-man had secretly recorded from a side pouch in his utility belt.

"I got a tip from Rhino about Lincoln, so I got an old recorder and put it into one of the pouches on my belt and hit the record button before I went in to talk to him." Spider-Man stated to Stacy about the recording "Only you and I have heard the tape. I trust you with it because I know you're one of the good ones. I've got copies just in case."

"I can't use it as applicable at the moment, we'll have to bide our time until just the right moment to strike. Until then, good luck." Detective Stacy stated to them wishing him luck and Spider-Man nodded heading off leaving him with the recording.

Later on we see Peter in a tux with Aunt May saying "You see, it fits just fine. Anna's niece should be here any moment, don't forget the corsage." and handed him a box as they heard the bell ring. "Oh, there she is go and answer the door."

Peter went over to the door and took a deep breath opening it up and being surprised the the girl in front of him. "You're Mary Jane Watson?" He'd questioned wide eyed as the very pretty redheaded girl in front of him let out a small laugh.

"Face it Tiger, you just hit the jackpot." The stunning Mary Jane Watson told him standing there in a simple yet aluring black dress.
