Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 01 Episode 10

Spider-Man had just stopped someone jacking a truck that was hauling some cars and then went over to the top of the Midtown High building looking around as if he'd been waiting for something. We pan down to see Gwen putting a white ski mask on and some gloves that she'd tried to climb with but couldn't stick like the other day and so had to take them off now being able to climb up to the top of the roof where Spider-Man was.

"Hey Spider-Man." She'd called once she'd gotten near the top and he'd turned towards the sound seeing her just now making it to the top.

"What the heck?" He'd questioned seeing them in weird street clothes and a ski mask. "What's with the getup?"

"I wanna try being a hero." They'd explained to him taking off the mask so he could see who he was talking to.

"Gwen? What are you doing dressed like that?" Peter questioned taking off his own mask as well.

"I just told you, I wanna try being a hero like you. When I left the lab last night some guys had tried to chase after me and I tried to jump a fence and stuck to a wall high up." Gwen then explained to him about her being able to wall crawl now. "I think I was bit by the spider when I fell to the floor before passing out."

"Wall Crawling won't be enough Gwen. Have you tested anything else?" Peter then asked her about what other powers she'd had. "Any Spider-Strenght?"

Gwen went to the flag pole and bent it with relative ease before then bending it back into place as best she chould. "Well it looks like that's a yes." She'd spoken though when she'd had her back turned peter fired webbing at her and something went off in her head making Gwen dodge out of the way.

"And you've got the Spider-Sense." He'd then stated to them about the next test as well. "Alright, you got a costume? I'm not training you in that." Peter then question saying that she needed a better outfit.

"I have a design, but I can't stick to anything with the gloves I made so far." Gwen then explained to him showing Peter the ones that she'd made.

"No wonder you can't, you're gonna need skin tight material. It'll be uncomfortable at first but you'll get used to it." He'd explained to his friend putting his mask back on. "Come on and I'll help you get what's needed.

He'd fired a web as Gwen had put her mask back no trying to do the same but it didn't really work. "Um I can't make webs." She'd then stated.

"Neither can I, we'll have to make you a set of web shooters as well." Spider-Man then stated pulling up his gloves to reveal the wrist mounted devices.

They'd gone off with Spider-Man having Gwen hold onto him when they'd gone to the places to get the materials and such and the two had worked on her costume for awhile along with helping to make their own mechanical webshooters and how to refill them and everything.

"Alright let's see it." Peter spoke sitting in the chair in his Spider-Man costume without the mask on.

Gwen had come out in a white and back costume that had blue colored ballet shoes as part of the feet as well as pink with blue web patterns on the inner part of her upper arms along with the same design lining the inside of her costume's hood. She'd had a white mask in smilar design to his but without the web pattern and the eyes were pink outlines instead of black.

"How do I look?" She'd questioned as he'd nodded his approval and held up a spider symbol identitcal to his comparing it to the suit.

"looks great, but I think the spider symbol would make it a little off so let's go without it. Ready for your first web swinging lesson? Harry's game is about to start." Peter then stated to her putitng his mask back on.

"Lead the way." She'd spoken and the two swung off leaving the mess to be cleaned up later. Though Gwen was a little awkward at the whole swinging thing at first they'd soon gotten the hang of it and the two of them made their way towards the school.

"So thought of a name yet?" Spider-Man questioned as they'd continued to swing across the city.

"I thought maybe Spider-Woman." She'd answered back about the possible superhero name for her to go by.

"A little Generic don't you think?" He'd questioned back as they continued making their way with the school coming into view.

"And Spider-Man isn't?" She'd then teased back about his own hero name that he'd been going by pointing out he'd just slapped two words together.

"Touche, but serioulsy how about something like Ghost Spider because of the mostly black and white theme?" Spider-Man spoke turning while mid swing to look at her.

"Ghost Spider.. ya, I kinda like it." She'd agreed deciding to go by Ghost Spider as her hero name liking how it sounded and the two landed somewhere they couldn't be seen and changed into street clothes.

They'd headed over towards the school and went to sit on the bleachers to watch the game that'd already started without them and Peter had noticed Mary Jane was there and Peter went to sit beside her while Gwen sat on a spot higher up.

"MJ, what are you doing here?" He'd questioned while sitting down to talk with her while watching the game.

"Flash invited me, and you?" She'd stated before asking what he was doing at the game. "Doesn't seem like you're the sports type Tiger."

"Ouch." He'd spoken in response at her saying he wasn't the sporty guy. "But you're right, I'm not really into sports, I'm actually here supporting my friend Harry who's on the team."

"Well, that's nice of you." She'd stated to them saying that it was nice that he'd come to something he didn't like just to support his friend who did.

"Ya, listen MJ, I'm really sorry about ditching you for so long at the dance. It's just that I'd had to work the job or else I'd be fired, and then I wouldn't be able to help Aunt May with the bills an.."That's enough Tiger, I get it. You're working hard to help pay the bills so you and your aunt don't go homeless. It's a noble reason for running off like that."" Peter began to apologize about the dance though Mary Jane cut him off saying that she didn't mind and that it was okay because she understood.

"Thanks for being so understanding." He'd spoken as Harry had managed to catch the ball and land a touchdown. "ALRIGHT HARRY, WAY TO GO BUD!" He'd cheered after Harry managed to score the winning point.

Mary Jane went to go congratulate Flash for the throw and Liz came over saying "Hi Petey. You hear, everyone's going to Coney Island tomorrow to celebrate the win. Think maybe you'll come too?" She'd spoke asking if he'd be going to the amusment park with everyone.

"Sounds like fun, dunno if work's gonna call me in tomorrow or not." Peter answered back truthfully about the idea of going. "But so long as they don't call I'll be there."

We then see much later on that Spider-Man was patroling around with Ghost Spider showing her the ropes about taking down peti thugs when they'd notice a large bright light coming from a building and Ghost Spider says "That's Oscorp, Harry or his dad could be in trouble."

"Even with web slinging it'd take awhile to get there. Only one thing to do." Spider-Man spoke as he'd webbed up a couple of large towers creating a makeshif slingshot.

"Are you sure that's safe?" Ghost Spider questions him as he'd began to push himself as far back as possible.

"Nope, but no time like the present to try." He'd answered back before jumping slightly and letting the webbing slingshot him through the air at a much faster speed than his normal webswinging. However Ghost Spider had decied to just do it the other way since it didn't look all that safe to her. He'd made it before her and webbed one of the antenna poles on the top of the building to stop himself from overshooting.

When he'd gone inside he'd seen Norman talking to a man under some rubble and was trying to move it so he'd jumped down to help. "I got it." Spider-Man spoke moving the rubble out of the way.

"Otto, are you there?" Norman questioned trying to get him to responds as the medical staff was checking him over.

The guy had snapped and pinned Norman to a wall using one of the mechanical arms on the harness as Spider-Man tried to stop him though he'd pinned him with the other three saying "You cannot fool me Spider-Man you tracked me down and tried to destroy me as I knew you would."

"Dude, I don't even know you." Spider-Man responded to the guy Norman called Otto saying that he doesn't have any idea what he's talking about.

Otto dropped Norman and made the free arm snap at Spider-Man saying "Otto Octavious was weak, call me Doctor Octopus!"

"How about we Call you a good therapist instead?" Someone spoke as a web had caught one of the arms and yanked it back away from Spider-Man.

"Nice one." Spider-Man spoke while getting himself free of the remaining ones now that he could get some leverage.

"Who are you?" Doc Oct spoke questioning who this new person was as he'd only known about one spider themed hero.

"Call me Ghost Spider." She'd answered back as both she Spider-Man had moved to avoid the next attack from the mechanical arms.

"C'mon Doc, you're a cephalopod we're Arthropods, can't we just hug it out or something?" Spider-Man then questioned while he and Ghost Spider had been dodging his arms.

The arms of Doc Oct had began to beep and he says "Apologies but I no longer have time to play with you two." before throwing large glass cannisters at the two of them and ripping a hole out of the building going off into the city.
