Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 02 Episode 03
Peter had slept in late since it was saturday and finally decided to get up reaching under his bed and grabbing the suit as it attached itself to him and he says "Well that's a timesaver. Just need the Webshooters now." while putting on his street clothes and the suit hides itself. He'd reached for the webshooter and the costume made it's own web to pull them closer. "Whoa, guess I don't need those today." He'd then stated kicking them back under the bed.
He then headed on downstairs where Aunt May was folding laundry while watching something on tv and she asked "Where are you off to?"
"Me, I'm headed over to Connor's lab to see Eddie for a bit. So, you excited for your night on the town?" Peter answered back while stretching. "You deserve to have a good time with everything you do around here."
"I suppose it would be fun to go to the theater, but that doesn't mean you can stay out extra late." She'd answered back about going out for the night.
"Don't worry I'll be back by ten or I'll call." Peter answered turning to head on out to stretch his legs and go visit Eddie.
He'd headed on over and we see that Eddie was starting to lock up the place with Peter calling out "Yo Bro, hows it going?"
"It's been going alright, how's the ooze thing going?" Eddie questioned about Spider-Man having the ooze now being his costume.
"Doing alright so far, seems to enhance my spider abilities, and it's able to make organic webbing. I know Connors isn't here today but could you pass that along next time you see him?" Peter answered back about the gunk.
"Connors actually asked me to pass something to you next time we saw each other." Eddie stated handing him a vile of something. "Said he didn't want another Man-Spider incident to happen with the ooze so he'd whipped up something to help should something go wrong."
"Thanks, let's hope it doesn't come to that. So where you headed off to?" They'd responded putting the vile in his bag as Eddie had climbed onto his motorcycle.
"Got a date tonight, going to get ready." Eddie answered starting up the bike. "Take care bro."
"You too." Peter waved letting Eddie drive off to go deal with all of that since he didn't wanna keep him any longer.
We then cut to Spider-Man swinging around the city with Ghost Spider as they'd been patrolling around to see what they could find as She'd been telling him about a breakout that happened earlier that he'd missed on the news this morning because of sleeping in so late and they'd heard sirens spotting some police vehicles going by.
"Let's go." Spider-Man spoke swinging off with Ghost Spider following to see what was going on down below.
"Well, looks like I get my turn at helping to take these guys out." Ghost Spider stated as she landed atop one of the squad cars and Spider-Man dropped onto the overturned S.W.A.T. van.
"There's two of you now?" Rhino questioned as Spider-Man's spider sense had began to go off with Sandman slamming into him from the side.
"Sorry was I meant to wait my turn?" Sandman questions while Spider-Man just looked annoyed.
"Oh great, you two are partnered again?" Spider-Man questions sounding annoyed to have to deal with this now.
"It's not two Bug." Shocker spoke appearing too and then gestured above as Vulture was flying around followed by Electro and Doctor Octopus appeared as well.
"Now then shall we?" Doctor Octopus questions the two of them looking smug about having multiple villains on their side and they go to move forwards with May and her friend Anna standing in the way. "Ladies, please step aside."
"So you can attack that young man? I think not." May then stated saying she wasn't going to move.
"Appriciate the help but uh, I've got this. I'm a Plumber so it's my job to deal with these guys." Spider-Man spoke walking over and putting his hand on their shoulders. "Ghost Spider, get them out of here and get any other civilians to safey. I'll handle the stupid six stooges here."
Nodding Ghost Spider takes the two and takes off with them as Doc Oct grabbed Spider-Man with his mechanical arms and shocker calls "Pull!" with them throwing Spider-Man into the air before blasting him into a bilboard and causing him to drop onto a car.
Electro then began to blast at them too making the car explode though Spider-Man was able to dodge out of the way and backflipped onto one of the lightposts calling "What happened, Goblin have Knicks tickets?" Then jumped to get higher up.
"Going somewhere Spider-Man?" Vulture spoke cutting the webline that the wallcrawler was trying to use to get higher up.
"Guess I'll have to start with you." Spider-Man spoke landing on Vulture's back and punched the pack only to hurt his hand doing so.
"Your old tricks won't work Spider-Man none of the old ways will work against us now." Doc Oct told them as Vulture flew around trying to shake Spider-Man off.
"Maybe, doesn't mean i can't try something new." Spidey called grabbing onto the vulture's pack and then kicking his wings causing them to change his course and sending them both towards Sandman.
The webslinger jumped at the last moment making Sandman bash Vulture into the wall by accident and someone calls out "We need to wrap things up here fast." and they'd turned seeing Ghost Spider as she'd dropped next to Spider-Man. "There's too many at once we gotta go."
"Right, too many at once." Spider Man repeated and sighs saying "Time to test out a new toy." before taking out a small metal orb from the belt hidden in his costume and threw it at them with it hitting Rhino and blasting out smoke giving them the chance to escape.
We then cut to Spider-Man swinging into his bedroom window and getting a phone call as he'd made his costume vanish from around him. Though he decided not to answer it for now and set it to silent before then setting the clock to nine pm so he'd wake up in time for Aunt May to be home.
The Alarm went off at nine and the suit bonded itself to Peter and Spider-Man sat up and headed out. We see that he was swinging across the city when Vulture slashed the webline making them drop to a pile of sand onto the ground which turned out to be Sandman. He'd slammed him into a building then went to throw him with Electro blasting them next sending them falling forwards.
Rhino then punched him in the face and yet oddly Spider-Man didn't make a single sound, not their usual quip, not so much as a grunt of pain.. nothing. "Something's wrong here." Rhino spoke noticing that Spider-Man had been far too quiet.
"Who cares." Shocker spoke blasting the car that Spider-Man landed onto though they jumped from it last second and landed onto a light pole where one of Doc Oct's arms grabbed him and slammed them onto the ground.
"As much as it pains me to admit, Rhino may be right." The good doctor then joined in on the conversation.
Unbeknownst to them a certain little Ghost was hovering around watching things confused to see this happening. Rhino went to impale Spider-Man though some back goo shot from the costume and jabbed in him the eyes making him blind before hitting Oct's eyes too. Electro tried to blast him accidentally hitting the good doctor and sending Spider-Man flying off crashing down in the park nearby.
Ghost Spider went around so that she wouldn't be seen and finds Spider-Man standing up. "Pete are you in there?" She'd whispered coming close so that only he could hear, however there wasn't a response from him.
Spider-Man pushed her out of the way and jumped over Sandman's oncoming attack and moved towarda walkway. Doctor Octopus went to attack and he'd jumped down a stairway seeing Sandman waiting and so webbed Doc Oct pulling on him and swining him into Sandman.
Electro then blasted at him saying "I'm gonna fry you for that freak!" Spider-Man then looked up at them and webbed both him and Shocker jerking them down and making them bash their heads against the railing in front of them.
"Okay that's definately not Peter." Ghost Spider spoke to herself while Sandman punched him through one of the pillars in the entranceway arch.
Vulture flew in the ohter way and Spider-Man dodged making him slam into Sandman while he stuck to the ceiling where Rhino had ripped up the part he was on and thrown him into the air. Though Spider-Man webbed some poles and slingshotted himself into them.
He began to dodge the attacks of Shocker and Electro before using small balls of the ooze to strike them in the head then webbed them by the legs before jerking his arms back and causing them to fall over. Rhino then moved over to between the two and Spider-Man and they'd made a gesture for him to bring it on.
"That's it I'm flattening you!" Rhino yelled charging at them as Spider-Man webbed him in the face and then jumped out of the way as Shocker and Electro tried to blast him making them hit Rhino instead.
"Move in Kid I got you covered." Shocker told Electro who began to head that way, though Ghost Spider had chosen that moment to reveal to the baddies that she was here and kicked him in the side sending him over towards Spider-Man who moved out of the way just in time for Rhino to drop on top of Electro instead.
"Ghost Spider, she's the one that's been helping Spider-Man recently." Doc Oct stated about the spider themed heroine.
Spider-Man looked at Ghost Spider and nodded his head jumping up webbing Vulture to get onto his back. He'd climbed forwards slightly and pulled the mental controls off of their head before putting up a web between some trees and then pulled a talon off of their foot.
Ghost Spider meanwhile was handling Doctor Octopus jumping around their attacks and webbing their legs while bouncing around as she did so and as that was going on Spider-Man threw the talon damaging Shocker's glove before jumping out of the way of the other blast making them hit sandman instead.
He'd followed up by webbing Shocker through the hole and jerked them over making his damaged glove slam into Sandman and making them drop as he'd done so before then pinning Shocker down and taking his damaged glove by ripping it and the costume material off of his arm and throwing it next to Sandman making him unable to put himself back together.
"DODGE THIS!" Shocker called trying to hit them with the other glove though it had exploded when they tried to do so and sent them both flying in different directions. As that was going on Ghost Spider had managed to web Otto enough that his legs had been imobilized and she'd pinned him to the ground now that he couldn't move.
Spider-Man then swung off after the fight was over leaving Ghost Spider behind with the cops the next day Peter had woken up in bead to the sound of something hitting the door and says "Damn the alarm didn't go off." and stood up to see what was going on looking at the clock. "I've been asleep for nine hours why am I still tired?"
His arm had started hurting when he'd stretched and Peter check the mirror finding a new mark on his arm that he didn't remember getting. He went to check on Aunt May but decided to just let her sleep a little longer going off to get the paper and finds pictures in the paper talking about how Ghost Spider and Spider-Man had stopped the six escaped villains.
"Okay, that's.. I don't remember that." He spoke looking at the paper confused as to just what had been going on "Spider-Man and Ghost Spider stops Siniser Six, I gotta find out what's going on. I slept through the whole fight, this wasn't me wearing the suit this was the suit wearing me. It's like some sort of Symbiote." He'd mumbled about what's been happening.
'Still, what do we care, the Six were put down hard and we keep our cover by continuing to deliver the phots. What does it matter now that it's over?' he'd suddenly thought and began to go inside.
"PETEY!" Someone called and he turns to see Liz Allan coming up to talk to him. "It's your aunt She"She's upstairs sleeping. I thought I'd let here Rest."" She'd began to say but Peter then cut her off.
"No Petey, she's in the hospital. Everyone's been trying to reach you since last night, she had a heart attack!" Liz stated saying that no one was able to find him until just now to tell him what's going on.
