Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 02 Episode 04
Spider-man had swung over to a building with a sign on it that read Manhattan General Hospital on it and dropped down while changing back out of the costume with the ooze becoming a black t-shirt instead and he'd walked into the entrance and up to the information desk.
"I need to see my Aunt." Peter had told them "May Parke"Room Two O' Four."" He'd started to ask but someone cut him off saying what room he's looking for.
Turning he'd seen Eddie who says "We've been trying to get ahold of you since last night, what happened?"
Peter goes to head up to the room Aunt May was in and says "I'll explain on the way." gesturing for Eddie to follow.
When the two got onto the elevator Eddie then asks "Alright spill, what happened last night?" wanting to know just what was up with him.
"Last night, I got home around Eight and set an alarm to wake me up at nine then passed out. That's what happened. I don't remember anything from that point to waking up at around five to get the morning paper." Peter then explained while waiting for the floor they were after.
"Then how did you fight the sinsister six last night and take the photos?" The elder guy questions just how he could have done so if he was asleep that whole time.
"I didn't. But I woke up with this on my arm and feeling exhausted." He'd answered back showing him the injury to his arm. "Somehow it used us to fight while we slept to fight them all."
"Us?" Eddie questions about the way he'd just spoke. "We?" he'd continued to ask as well with Peter realized what he'd said.
"Ub. Me, it used me to fight while I slept." Peter then corrected himself and remembered that he'd thought we instead of I earlier too. "Fortunately I get full medical coverage for me and Aunt May thanks to the Plumber gig."
"Maybe you should take that thing off and go back to your other costume." Eddie suggested before seeing the doctor and says says "That's Aunt May's room, I'll leave you to it. There's somes tuff I gotta help out at the lab with."
Peter nodded and went into the room with the doctor asking "How is she?" Wanting to know how things were looking.
"I'm fine Peter." Aunt May responded from where she was sitting up in the bed telling her nephew that she was okay.
"Aunt May you had a heart attack." Peter spoke still worried about his aunt and what had happened to her.
"Your Aunt's recovering very well, but you still shouldn't be making light of it either." The Doctor stated to the two of them and started to head out to go check on the next patient.
"I'm feeling much better now that I know you're alright Peter. But it's still a school day and you still need to go. I just wish I'd thought to pack you a lunch before this heart thing happened." Aunt May told him making a joke of the situation which did make Peter laugh.
"You'll be out of here in no time." Peter spoke and went to leave with a Nurse calling out to him.
"You're Mr. Parker, next of kin to May correct? I need a couple of paper signed for your aunt please." The nurse explained "The bill is on the second page, if you have medical coverage we'll need a copy for our files."
Peter nods and starts to work on that seeing the bill he says "Thank you Plumber's Medical Coverage." taking a special card from his wallet to ahave that scanned into the system.
Later at school some of the other students including Mary Jane who's started going to the school recently came over along with Gwen and Liz. "Petey, how's your aunt? We've been so worried about you." Liz spoke up as they'd been worried about not being able to contact him last night.
"Wait all of you know about Aunt May?" Peter questions them asking how they'd all known about her condition.
"We all know Tiger, we've been trying to find out since last night. Liz told us she finally found you this morning." Mary Jane told him stating that everyone had known.
"Peter what happened last night?" Gwen spoke asking him about how weird things had been, though the others didn't know it she was also talking about the Sinister Six thing too.
"All I remember was getting home around eight and deciding to get a short nap. I don't remember anything after that except Liz finding me this and telling us what happened." Peter then answered truthfully saying he'd completely blacked out from the time he laid in bed to the time Liz found him.
"Maybe you should go and get some rest if you blacked out for that long." She'd suggested hearing what'd happened.
"Maybe." he answered back considering it before thinking 'Or maybe she justs wants us out of the way so she can be the hero and get all the glory.' Peter then turned and began to walk off.
"Where are you going Petey?" Liz asked him trying to follow though Peter just continued to walk ahead of them not bothering to stop.
"I gotta go clear my head." Peter answered back leaving the school gate and walking off as the bell began to ring and they'd had to head off to class.
At Lunch Mary Jane had found Gwen sitting by herself and asks "Mind if I sit here?" while walking over to her.
"Go ahead, since I've misplaced my clique. With Harry in.. Europe, and Pete.." Gwen answered with a sigh wondering just what had been going on.
"You Like Pete alot don't you?" Mary Jane then questions Gwen who then straightned up how she was sitting.
"I mean, he's one of my best friends." She'd answered back though she could tell by the look on Mary Jane's face that wasn't what she'd meant. "You mean romantically? Ugh, no, absolutely not in that sense. You want Peter go ahead, though you might have to fight Liz for him, I think she's been crushing on peter since he helped her pass a makeup test."
Back with Spider-Man he was swinging through the air and went to a church since it was a quiet place to think up at the belltower this time a day. "Alright let's review Spidey. Last night we slept through a fight with the Sinister Six which Ghost Spider helped at. Our Friends are worried about us and this ooze is starting to act more like a parasite than a Symbiote."
'But who cares about that, we're alive we took the photos so as to not blow our cover, and we defeated the bad guys. We should be considering that a win.' His thoughts then shot up as Spider-man walked over and sat in a corner.
"That's another problem we're thinking we instead of I, and the costume's putting thoughts into our.. into MY brain." He'd then spoken aloud trying to take everything into consideration.
'Who cares though we're far more powerful together than we are apart, we don't need anyone but ourselves. We don't need Ghost Spider's help to handle the bad guys, we don't need Gwen, or Mary Jane, or Eddie, or Liz,"NOT Even Aunt May? Alright that does it, Eddie is right you've gotta go NOW!'" Spider-Man then yelled out as his thoughts were being twisted by that thing.
He'd bumped against the bell and the ringing caused them pain as Peter tore the mask part of the black ooze off of his head and was trying to get that thing off. 'We will not allow this nothing will disrupt our bond.' the ooze implanted into his head and wrapped itself around him while sticking to the walls and suspending him into the air.
Peter found himself in a memory of the fieldtrip from the day he got his powers seeing Martha talking about the experimental spiders however Gwen mentions "One of them seems to be missing."
He then remembers how he'd been bitten and discovered his powers, and how he'd built the webshooters and his old costume had appeared on him while he was swinging as he remembered about trying to become a wrestler. He'd remembered winning the match and having to sign some things to get the money for winning and began to leave in frustration only for a theif to have stolen the cash.
Having let the thief go the guy had, as it turned out, shot his Uncle Ben and the memory pivets to that event where he was now trying to stop the guy that had shot and killed his uncle. He'd discovered that the crook that did so was the one he let get away. "Why blame yourself?" A voice spoke that sounded just like Peters and now the black costume had appeared in his hands.
Peter dropped to his knees as the suit climbed onto one of the webs that appeared around them as everything else became a blank void. "We didn't kill Uncle Ben, the world took him away from us." the costume questions him. "The World takes everything from us. There's no one you can trust but us, join together and become one and we'll make sure nothing bad happens to Peter Parker ever again."
"Now hold on just a minute." Another voice speaks up and we see an elderly man lifting Peter up to his feet and began to pull him away angering the symbiote costume as we move to the last conversation Peter ever had with him.
"Uncle Ben, if you could do something better than anyone else it wouldn't be wrong to cash in on those tallents would it?" Peter questions his uncle while they were sitting in the car together.
"Well that depends on what those tallents are. You're growing into the man you're gonna be, remember just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. With Great Power there must also come Great Responsibility." Uncle Ben then reminds him.
"Pretty words, but what good do they do? We still went to the Venue, we still let the cat burglar go. He came down to take this car and he took Ben away from us." The Sybiote Suit spoke appearing on the back window and seat with it's head leaned forwards enough to look Peter in the face.
"From him, not from you." Uncle Ben then told the Symbiote costume. "But that's not the point and I'll prove it."
Peter then flashes again into his costume back to the burgular in his hands and seeing their face says "It can't be you, it can't!"
The Symbiote cotume let out an amused chuckle and says "This proves your point while both it and Uncle Ben appeared in part of the shadows surrounding Peter.
Uncle Ben just says "Wait, watch him take his vengance." in response as Spider-Man busted the window in frustration.
"I should drop you, take from you what you took from Ben Parker!" Spider-Man says as he then lets go allowing the guy to drop however he'd webbed them by the leg at the last minute laving them dangling in the air only a few inches from the ground. "But that's not what he'd want me to do. With Great Power there must also become Great Responsibility."
"And that was only the beginning Kiddo." Uncle Ben spoke walking over reminding Peter of all the people he helped along the way from then till now as every good deed he'd ever done played out in front of them along with all the friends he'd made with the people around him.
"Uncle Ben is right, I'm Not Alone here and I'm Not going to give up everyone and everything I care about just to become one with you!" Peter told the Symbiote ready to fight to reject them.
"Go get them Kiddo." Uncle Ben spoke hugging Peter and tussling his hair before fading away while Peter smirked and pulled donw his mask his Plumber suit Spider-Man Mask in it's full colored glory.
"Bring it on." Spider-man spoke as he and the Symbiote suit began to fight against one another and he'd thrown them into a wall with Web designed cracks appearing around them. "You're in for a lot worse if you don't vacate Roomy." he'd then quipped ready to keep fighting.
"We're not going anywhere." The Symbiote spoke going to attack them but Spider-Man dodged their attempted.
While slamming his fist into them an image of Harry appeared, followed by another that made Liz appear. He'd continued to do this over and over with images of every person Peter is on good terms with appearing over and over while breaking apart the costume bit by bit as he'd done so leaving it letting out a shriek of pain. He'd throwing them into the wall of the void with Gwen appearing next before then picking them up and throwing them into the other wall opossite side as Eddie appeared too.
He then threw them upwards as the remains of the symbiote suit crashed into the cieling of the void before dropping down to the flor with Aunt May appearing next. "NOW GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" He'd yelled out as he raced forwards.
Spider-Man had then slammed his fist into what was left of the symbiote costume's spider sigil causing it to crack in a web pattern before shattering as an image of Uncle Ben had appeared and the void turned Red and blue before the blue faded to a much more vibrant black with the webs around them becoming a bright white color.
We then see that Spider-man dropped out of the Web Coccoon as it' had crumbled to bits and taking no chances he immediately began hitting the large bell to help force the costume off and into a bucket that was nearby. We then cut to Spider-Man dumping the ooze into the container back at the lab.
"Peter back in your Plumber Suit I see." Eddie called as he'd began to go over to see if he was alright after everything.
Spider-Man turned the container to super low temprature to freeze the Symbiote causing it to become encased in Ice. "Sorry bro but this thing tried to take over my mind and my body. You were right, getting rid of it was the best option." He'd then stated dropping down from his web line to chat with Eddie for a second taking off his mask as he does so.
Eddie nodded and sat down saying "If the lab looses too many grants I won't be able to continue to work to pay for my college tuition and everything else."
"You just leave that to me if the lab is having problems." Peter stated to them in response saying that he'd help them with College if he'd needed.
"Thanks bro, but you should get going before Aunt May starts to worry about you. I hear she's getting out soon." Eddie then stated back thanking Peter who'd nodded hearing that.
"Take care Bro." Spider-Man called before then swinging off through the window of the rooftop skylight as he goes.
"You too." Eddie called and went over to the container seeing the frozen ooze and turned his back leaning against the glass and the ooze splintered the glass into a deformed spider web shape behind him.
