Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 02 Episode 05
Spider-Man began dealing with some criminals that had been trying to steal some thing and had been easily making quick work of them with one of them trying to escape in the helicopter they had waiting. He'd webbed up those guys and webbed up the helicopter as itw was falling from the roof making it suspend between both the building he was on and the opposite building as well keeping it from hurting anyone.
"Feel's good to be back in the Plumber Costume and out of that Ooze." Spider-Man then spoke to himself as the cops found the goons he'd webbed up. Then headed off towards the hospital building nearby and had quickly changed going into the hospital where Aunt May was resting.
'She looks alot better considering she had a heart attack, must have been so scared to be in her without me to comfort her after it happened.' Peter thought to himself and moved a strand of hair from Aunt May's face as she was sleeping. 'Uncle Ben told me with Great Power must come Great Responsibility, but shouldn't my first responsibility be to look after the people that rely on Peter Parker?'
Peter sighed contemplating staying but figured she'd be mad if he skipped school and so instead he'd took out some paper and a pen from his bag writing down something and setting something beside her bed in a container before heading off. We see that it was a small cake with a plastic fork over the container and a note sitting so that they'd have to see it before first that reads Something sweet for the world's greatest Aunt, Love Peter.
Peter had then went off to school where he'd found Flash there by himself and instead of being his usual jerk self the jock says "Hey Parker.. I'm glad your Aunt is gonna be okay." before then turning and leaving when some others approached.
"Petey, are you doing better?" Liz called as she and some others walked over to talk with Peter still a bit worried about what's happened so far.
"Better, both me and Aunt May." Peter answered them turning to chat with the group that had come over. "Sorry about yesterday. I wasn't.. really myself."
"You must have been stressed." Mary Jane says putting her hand on Peter's shoulder and we see that Liz seemed annoyed by that.
"What you need is an angst break. We could use help holding the big mustang balloon at the thanksgiving day parade." Liz says grabbing Peters hands and pulling him so that he was now looking at her.
"Unfortunaly I can't, if the Doc gives the okay then I'll get to bring Aunt May home." Peter explained to them saying that he's hoping to finally have his aunt home tomorrow.
"I'd like to go with you to see Aunt May for a bit tomorrow." Gwen tells Peter who nods in response to that.
"Alright, meet me after school and we'll go see Aunt May together." He'd responded and made a small quiet gesture to meet rooftop which she'd nodded to and they'd gone off to class because the bell rang.
After school the two had gone to head to the roof unknowingly beeing spotted by Liz who'd followed from a distance to see what they were up to. By the time she'd gotten up to the roof however, all she could see was Spider-Man and Ghost Spider swinging in the distance confusing her.
"Alright now that we're in costume, what happend with the black suit ooze?" Ghost Spider spoke as she'd swung alongside Spider-Man.
"Well, long story short Ooze messed with my brain and too my body for a joy ride that night with the sinister six. It put up a fight but I managed to get it off of me and gave it a nasty case of freezer burn." He'd answered back about what really happened as the two landed a t the hospital sticking to the side of the building.
They'd dropped, changed, and then went off to see Aunt May and found the doctor was there too. "Well, she's made a great recovery and well be able to be discharged tomorrow. Just in time for Thanksgiving." The Doctor told them all.
"Oh that's wonderful. I can make my thanksgiving feast." Aunt May says happy to be able to finally go home.
"Don't worry about that Aunt May, I'll handle that. I took some cooking lessons while I was away." Peter told her saying he'd handle cooking.
The next day peter was getting ready to head on out when he'd went to get his shoe from under the desk bumping his head and something drops onto the floor. 'The Anti Symbiote juice Doc Connors made for me. I forgot I had this.' He'd thought standing up and putting it into his belt along with grabbing his shoe and packing the rest of his stuff to swing over to the hosplital.
Something then stuck to Peter's back pulling him out onto the ground and he'd quickly put his mask on as a twisted voice says "Oh, you don't need to bother with the mask anymore we already know all your secrets. Especially because we were you!" while an oversized symbiote suite with long tongue and sharp teeth appeared also having an elongated spider sigil on their chest.
"Symbiote, but I destroyed you!" Spider-Man called dodging from where they'd gone to hit him with it putting a fist sized crack in the wall.
"Did you really think a little refridgeration would stop us?" The Symbiote questioned in response to Spider-Man's statement.
"You ensnared another human?" He'd questioned as the two continued to fight against one another.
"We CLAIMED another human. This one suits us much better, they don't fight back against our will." The Suit then stated saying that whomever they took now the Symbiote was the one in control not the person they bonded to before slamming him onto the ground. "From now on we're poison to both Peter Parker, and to Spider-Man. We Are Venom!"
Venom had managed to knock Spider-Man against the fence and began webbing them in place covering all but their head and says "You haven't suffered enough. We are going to dismantle you entirely piece by piece."
Spider-Man had found Venom about to enter May's room through the window and kicked them away and down some of the stone windowcills saying "Stay away from her!" as he and Venom began to fight.
"Fine, she's not the only target anyway. After all we kow everyone you care about Bro." Venom spoke throwing Spider-Man down from the windowcill as they then began to head off from there. "We'll go after someone else you love."
Spider-Man swings across the city as we see a guy with a familiar green band on his wrist walking into the hospitla. The Webslinger then found where the parade was taking place and look around seeing Mary Jane was with Flash, but had soon spotted Eddie going off with Gwen. "Boy are they in for a rude awakening." He'd thought aloud before going off to see how that plays out.
He'd found the two in an alleyway with Gwen fighting off Venom and Spider-Man slamed himself onto Venom's back calling "Gwen, go get changed and meet back here." Which she'd nodded to and ran to change into her costume.
"You are percistent, however so are we." Venom spoke and went to fight Spider-Man as he'd dodged out of the way of their fist only to be stuck to a wall by Venom's tentrdril webbing pinning him there in the process.
"Eddie, fight it!" Spider-Man called out while struggling to break free pulling harder to try to snap the web. "C'mon bro this isn't you!"
"Eddie's Not Here! No one is here, no one except VENOM!" They'd called and went to punch him only for a web to stop his arm in place. "Ghost Spider." He'd spoken while she'd tried to stop him in place.
Spider-Man countinued to struggle and began to feel something breaking. He calls out "YO VENOM!" yelling at the costume that'd overtaken Eddie.
"WHAT!?" The Symbiote costume yelled back at him for screaming next to their ear, only for Spider-Man to managa to break free taking parts of the wall with him as he'd slammed the two together on the sides of his head breaking himself free in the process and leaving them dazed and wobbling from side to side like in the old school cartoons.
"Up for a game?" Ghost Spider called out asking if they'd felt like having some fun with them.
"What'd you have in mind exactly?" Asked Spider-Man moving to the side of Venom to get out of their direct line.
Ghost Spider webbed the wall and pulled herself back a bit further tightening the web and let go being pulled forwards like a slingshot calling "TAG!" as she'd kicked Venom into the wall.
"Nice one. Looks like you're it tall dark and ugly." Spider-Man laughed as he and Ghost Spider moved out of the way of Venom who'd let out an enraghed scream chasing after them. "Ghost Spider, catch." He'd then called tossing her the vile. "I'll find a way to immobilize them, you gotta pour that down their throat."
"Right." She'd nodded agreeing putting the vile into her belt before Venom could see and they'd gone to a contstruction yard where Spider-Man picked up some large poles and slammed them together.
This caused Venom to scream out in pain from the vibrations like they did with the bell and he kept hitting them together over and over again. This had caused them to have to drop down and Spider-man then stuck a bunch of the poles in a circle around them into the ground and ran around in circles beating the poles against one ather.
While Venom wasn't able to do anywathing Ghost Spider jumped down and opened the vile of anti symbiote syrum and poured it down their throat calling "Open Wide!" as she does so and the symbiote begins to screech in pain bubbling and letting go of Eddie while Spider-Man grabbed one of the heavy bags that gravel came in and scooped it up.
"You alright bro?" Spidey asked Eddie who nodded in response. "Ya, ya I'm alright. I can't believe that thing managed to force me to do such things though."
"Well it's over now Eddie." Ghost Spider spoke helping him up which they'd been surprised by hearing her calling him by name.
"How did.. GWEN!?" Eddie questioned realizing who it was under the mask and Ghost Spider takes her mask off nodding. "That night I passed out the spider that bit Peter bit me too."
"Right now I wanna just get Aunt May home and turn this over to the plumbers where it'll be secured." peter told the two of them having taken off his mask too with a relieved sigh that it was finally over.
Peter then had gone home knocking on Aunt May's door and she answered "Is that you Peter, come on in."
"Ya it's me Aunt May. I went by the hospital but you weren't there so.." He'd spoken coming inside seeing Ben Tennyson was there too.
"Oh that's alright, your friend Mister Tennyson came and gave me a ride home." Aunt May spoke talking about Ben.
"Just Ben is fine, I'm not that old yet." Ben had joked going to get up. "My family's having Thanksgiving at home and my wife will kill me if I'm late, so I gotta head out. I'm glad to hear that you're making a full recovery."
Peter nodded to Ben who nodded back and began to head out as Eddie had appeared with Gwen and Gwen's dad Captain Stacy. "Happy Thanksgiving." Captain Stacy, George, spoke holding an already cooked turkey while Gwen had stuff in tupperware.
They'd gone in to chat and have a good time with Peter saying "I did managed to make something too, just uh.. don't ask what's in it." He'd teased getting something from the kitchen and showing it to them, which had made the group laugh as they'd enjoyed having dinner together.
"It's wonderful to have good friends and, well, relatively good health." Aunt May spoke up happy to have everyone there. "Of course it is a little disappointing the hospital bill will wipe out the advance."
"Wait, what advance?" Peter then questions having not been told about any of that until just now.
"Well for my Cook Book. I suppose I'll have to get started on another one now, maybe one a little more heart healthy." She'd answered back about all that.
"I see, well don't worry about that Aunt May. My Job I've been working offers full medical coverage for both me and you." Peter spoke surprising Aunt May to hear that.
"Peter dear, what did you say you did for your job again?" Aunt May then questions about his job offering that kind of coverage.
"I didn't, but don't worry. I can promise you that my job is something Uncle Ben would be proud of. " He'd answered back telling her not to worry.
Though it looked delicious the group was sorta sceptical about Peter's.. whatever it was that he cooked since he'd said not to ask what was in it. Eddie had decided after what happened today that he could handle anything and cut out the first slice of it using his fork to do so and then smelled a small bit he'd broken off from his plate before biting into it.
"Well Bro, how is it?" Peter asked waiting for Eddie's reaction and he'd began to get a bigger bite from his place.
"It's Delicious." Eddie answered back and the others started to get some of that too.
"Oh wow this IS delicious Peter. I must get the recipe for my next book." Aunt May then spoke wanting to know just what it was.
"Gonna be hard to get the ingredients here in New York. Easier to find in Undertown over in Bellwood though." Peter then stated saying it's not something they could just make as an everyday thing because of the ingredients.
"Isn't that the Alien Town?" George questioned him about where exactly it was that Peter was talking about.
"Yup." Was all Peter said in response and they'd all enjoyed the food and the special Alien Cuisene that Peter had whipped up for them all.
