Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 02 Episode 07
We see that they were having the test and that Peter had managed to finish first, turning it in he then heads out into the hallway now that that was over. His spider sense began to go off and he'd doged a football turning to see Kenny as Randy caught the ball behind him. "Hey Parker, is Flash about done in there? We gotta get to practice." The former of the two then questions Peter about the test.
"Cool it King Kong, Bio ain't exactly QB's best sbject." Randy stated to them remding Kenny how Flash wasn't exactly good at biology.
"I mean, to be fair, does Flash even have a top suject?" Peter asked the two of them as the two were throwing the ball back and forth.
""Football."" The two answered together as Gwen had been the next to leave class and she'd dodged the football that was coming towards her head.
"You guys shouldn't be throwing that around in the halls." She'd stated to the two about throwing the ball inside.
"Gwen, any luck finding Eddie?" Peter spoke as the two began walk off to wherever they were going now.
"Hey Rand, nerd love." Kenny laughed about the two walking while talking about something though Randy didn't look so impressed at the joke.
"Nah man, you didn't hear? Old QB Eddie Brock just up and vanished a few days ago, no one can find him." Randy then explained about why the two looked worried while they were chatting.
"Harry's dad want me to go back to doing the intern at the lab, says it's too good of an opportunity to pass up." Peter told her about everything, though before she could answer Liz had come running over hugging Peter.
"Petey, thanks again for tutoring me, I aced it again I can feel it." Liz spoke thanking Peter for helping her study for the biology test. "And it's all thanks to the world best tutor Petey." she'd then kissed his cheek embarrassing him.
"Well, glad I could help." Peter spoke while Gwen had headed off ahead of the two giving them some privacy.
We then cut to later with Peter going to the lab where Curt introduced the new assistant "Peter, this is Debrah Whitman. She'll be filling in for Eddie."
"Nice to meet .. you?" Peter began to say only for Debrah to walk off ignoring them "Rude much?"
"Don't take it personally, we're glad to have you back Peter." Curt told him saying he's glad that Peter was interning again.
"Speaking of Eddie, have you two heard from him? I'm starting to worry." Martha spoke worried about not beging able to get into contact with him.
"Wish I could say yes, but sadly nothing. He's not answering the phone either." Peter stated with a sigh.
"Curt! I've been going over your old research and the reptilian DNA,"THAT line of work is no longer happening. Dead end best to keep it that way."" A new guy began to say but Curt cut him off saying that they weren't working with DNA anymore.
"Peter, Gwen, this is Miles Warren." Martha then spoke telling the two who this guy was exactly.
We then jump to Spider-Man swining around the city much later to clear his head saying "I think Liz actually might sorta like me, but does she really or is it just my imagination?" He'd spoken to himself and stuck to the side of a building climbing his way up. "Then there's MJ, though that's not exclusive. Not to mention Cat, wherever she's run off to. Gah, Webswinging from the Empire State Building didn't make me this dizzy."
He'd continued to swing around stopping atop a bilboard where an arro had almost hit him had his spide sense not warned him to dodge. He'd continued dodging finding the guy shooting at him and he jumps atop the ledge of the roof the guy was on asking "Where'd you come from?"
"Mother Russia, by way of Mother Africa." The man answered and began to attack him with curved knives.
"Wow, two moms and still so misbehaved." Spider-Man then mocked the guy while dodging their attacks using his webs to get the blades away from this guy.
The guy then tackled Spider-Man off the building calling "Be still, the noblist prey ends the hunt in silent dignity." while the two were falling.
"Prey, silent, dignity? Pal you don't know me at all." Spider-Man then stated using a webline to swing the two of them so that they wouldn't hit the ground and then crashed the guy shoulder first into a window.
"You cannot shake Kraven the Hunter so easily." They'd stated though Spider-Man crashed into another window with the guy calling himself Kraven and making him let go and crash into the building right net to the one they hit.
Spider-Man then webbed the guy up saying "You really got a bad temper dude, your moms must be so disappointed."
Kraven had cut the web free saying "Always I've had to temper my skills to give the prey a chance, but now Kraven the Hunter can finally let loose." he then throws as boomerang that Spider-Man dodged easily.
We then see and another web line shoot down from above them stopping the Boomerang in place before it had then been pulled up and they look up to see Ghost Spider now having their boomerang in her hand and she'd jumped down to join in questiioning "What's going on here?"
"Amazing a second female spider being." Kraven spoke finding this to be interesting, though she'd found them sorta creepy honestly. "Perhaps I should have researched more about this prey, another time perhaps." He spoke before then throwing a smoke pellet and vanished from the battle.
We then cut to later on when Peter was taking photos with his new camera, in particular he was snapping pictures of the cheerleaders and Liz Specifically who'd noticed and called out to them saying "Hey Petey, new camera?"
"Yup. Paid for with the advance from my new exclusive freelancing contract." Peter answered back as Liz stepped up onto the bench and saying hello Peter glad to see he'd come to the game.
"Ooh fancy, that mean you're a professional Photographer now?" Sally questioned also having come over for a second.
"Yup." He'd answered back while Liz had hugged him, which Sally seemed annoyed by and began to pull her away.
"You can't wanna be in the papers that badly. Geekatude is contageous." The blonde spoke taking her away from Peter and back to the other cheerleaders.
"Oh I don't mind catching what Petey's got." Liz then answered back waving her pompom at Peter flirtingly though he couldn't hear what she'd said he did wave back anyway.
They all start to watch the game and they cheer as things were going down with Flash throwing the ball and hobie Brown manages to catch the ball scoring the final touchdown. However Flash does not get hurt in this version of events and so they were all happy to celibrate. They'd had a good time and Peter had to head off for the job. We then see Spider-Man and Ghost Spider swinging around the city together.
"Alright, where is our myterious Hunter anyway?" Ghost Spider called looking around for Kraven when something had clawed across Spider-Man's costume.
"Dude, these threads aren't self repairing y'know." Spider-Man stated as they'd seen Kraven now wearing meg tal claws over his fingers ready for round two.
"I was misinformed last time, but now I am ready." Kraven then spoke before letting out a whilstle with a Lion roaring out also ready to join in the fight. "Meet Gulyadkin."
"How did you get a lion all the way up here?" Ghost Spider questions surprised to see the man now had the big cat with him.
"The stairs." Kraven answered back as if the answer to that question was obvious, which it sorta was.
"Ghost Spider, you handle the cat, I'll deal with the Hunter." Spider-Man answered and she'd nodded and went to deal with the Lion as Kraven and Spider-Man began to fight.
"I underestimated you last time Spider, but that will not happen again." Kraven spoke revealing that he was a lot stronger than he'd first appeared to be earlier.
They'd began fighting against one another and Kraven had managed to grab Spider-Man by the ankle while he was jumping and then thrown him though the glass of the rooftop skylight they were on sending him crashing onto the floor below where there were a bunch of fake animals on display.
Kraven had snapped the horns off of a stuffed antelope and began fighting against Spider-Man with them and they'd broken thorugh some of the fake elephants along with damaging some fossils that were in the museum as well before Spider-Man was thrown into the gorilla display and got mad hitting Kraven with the stuffed fake that was hanging above him.
Kraven had sent Spider-Man into a T-Rex Skull fossile and jumped at him and they'd busted through the window on the side of the building crashing into a bus and causing a pileup. "Time out!" he'd then called to the Spider which he'd been confused by.
Kraven then began to pull off the doors of the cars that had crashed helping people to get out of the vehicles which had Spider-Man dumbfounded but he'd decided to go with it doing the same. "I can't belive the villain just called a time out to help get Citizen to safety." He'd stated to them as they'd been helping people out of the bus that was tipped over.
"Not villain, HUNTER!" Kraven then called as Gulyadkin had let out a roar coming over with Ghost Spider still chasing after him. "Gulyadkin, innocents." Kraven told the Lion and they'd seemed to understand what he was saying and used their large powerful claws to help move the vehicles so that no one would be hurt while being freed.
"Um.. What's going on?" Ghost Spider questioned looking confused through their mask seeing that Kraven and his pet were actually helping to get people to safety from the pileon.
"I don't even know anymore." Spider-Man responded as they'd made sure the last of the people were safe and that those that needed medical attention were taken to the ambulances that had showed up. "Alright I think that's the last of them."
"Good, Time in!" Kraven called tackling Spider-Man off of the side of the downed bus ready to continue the hunt.
Gulyadkin began to once more fight against Ghost Spider who'd began using her webbing around the various cars and things pulling them to pile around into a domelike shape around the large cat who'd tried to claw his way out through one of the gaps still roaring out trying to reach them though Ghost Spider had then webbed down his claw so that he would stop.
"I'm more of a dog person anyway." She'd stated as the lion was struggling to get it's paw freed from the webbing.
Spider-Man meanwhile was thrown into the snow and gets up saying "Wish I was playing in the snow with Black Cat instead." while jumping up into a tree looking around as Kraven had tackled him from where he was and jumped between the tree Spidey was on and the one next to it back and forth while hitting the webslinger all the way down.
He'd gotten back up and began to shoo his webs all around them creating a cage around himself and Kraven with the two fighting and Spider-Man managing to get them tangled up saying "Dude, Mummy is a good look for you." as they'd continued fighting.
"You are mine prey." Kraven spoke as he'd clawed himself free with Spider-Man continuing to use his webs over and over again.
"Sorry who's the Prey again?" The wallcrawler then questions and began to punch Kraven in the face before kicking him into the head and making him drop from the branch they were on and onto the large web that they'd made under them. They'd heard strange drumming and turned towards the sound but didn't see anything, turning back Kraven was now gone.
Spider-Man then went to meet up with Ghost Spider who says "You're not going to believe this one."
"Let me guess, strange drumming you look towards it and then look back and the cat's gone?" He'd spoken in response which she'd nodded yes in response to. "Same thing happened with Kraven."
