Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 02 Episode 08
Spider-Man had been taking down some goons and webbed one of them to the wall after they tried to hit them with a pool cue and says "All the tech Mysterio snatched is still missing, and everyone I talk to says the go to guy is Blackie Gaxton's the man to talk to." He'd stated looking over at a man sitting at a table before jumping to sit on top of it stating "So talk Blackie."
"Who are you kidding, what's a bit hero gonna do if I clam up exactly?" The guy then questions looking smug when a guy had come running down the steps.
"Blackie, give me two to one odds on.. Spider-Man? Oh Uh, .. Nevermind." They'd spoken turning around and running off not wanting to be there while the wall crawler was present.
"Well, maybe I'll just hang around for awhile untill you decide to open up." Spidey spoke jumping onto one of the rafters in the building.
"Alright fine. Rumor is Mysterio was fronting for some big boss, guy's hiring cons, crooks, even construction workers." Blaicke stated as someone had come out of a bathroom and gone to try to leave out the back with Spider-man noticing while Blackie continued saying "Everyone's swarn to secrecy on pain of you-know-what."
Spider-Man had caught the guy outside questioning "So, what do you have have to share?" blocking the alley so that he couldn't leave without talking to them.
"Mysterio's Boss, they call him the Master Planner. But that's all I know really." The guy spoke clearly scared of what Spidey could do to them.
We then move to much later on where some of the students were on an ice rink and Kenny had fallen on his bud sliding towards Peter who'd jumped over them before landing safe and then standing up skating backwards.
"Peter that was amazing." Glory says seeing him easily outskating them and was surprised that he had such moves. "How'd you do that?"
"Aunt May taught me how, she used to do amature competitions. That's actually where she and Uncle Ben met." Peter explained to them with a simple shrug.
"Well, smart and can skate, you're just full of surprises Petey." Liz spoke teasing Peter as she'd come out onto the ice to skate too.
"I try." Peter answered back as they began to laugh before the two then started to skate together.
They'd spent enough time there that they'd got to see the big tree being lit up and Gwen and MJ skated over to chat with Peter for a bit. "Any luck finding Eddie?" Gwen questions still worried.
"No, I filed a missing person's report with the cops and the Plumbers, but currently no leads." Peter answered with a sigh about Eddie while looking worried. "We've never been this long without so much as a phonecall."
Before they could say more Electro appeared on the ice calling "Spider-Man, come out and playay." while looking for the wallcrawler as everyone scrambled and both Peter and Gwen took advantage to slip away. "Show yourself you Wall Cawling"Now now, watch the mouth. There are children present y'know."" He'd began to call out but Spider-Man had appeared on the wall above him.
He'd dodged them and while swinging Vulture swooped down kicking him in the chest with the webslinger calling "Beaky, is there a revolving door at that prion?" before swinging onto a pole and thinking 'Alright, if those two are here then that means it's probably gonna be the entire simpleton six.'
Electro blasted Spider-Man while he was distracted and says "Hey Vultch, you noticed? It seems the big hero doesn't seem to focused on us."
Vulture flies around and swoops at the citizens saying "You're right, it's as if he's expecting more companHght!" he'd began but something had caused him to jerk back and making his head jerk forwards in the process.
"You guys forget about me?" Ghost Spider then called out jumping down and landing on one of the many poles that were around the ice.
Electro slams his fists onto the ice and zaps the students that were on the ice at the time and Spider-Man webbed him on the back of his containment suit jerking him off of the ice. "You're not doing that again."
Electro zapped at them and Spider-Man had to dodge while Ghost Spider had been firing webbing at Vulture hitting the side of their head and noticing he'd been protective of that thing. "Time to clip their wings."
She'd then webbed the side of their head and while he was distracted webbed part of his wing before jumiping and swinging around so that she was wrapping it around Vulture dangling him from the tree like an oversized ornament as he'd struggled trying to get free using the blades on his wings.
"Don't worry Vultch Electro's got your back!" The living electricity villain called before blasting a giant bolt from their mouth at them.
"No, I'll be free in a moment!" Vulture tried to call wanting him to stop but Ghost Spider dodged and they'd hit the top of the tree making the whole thing get zapped and breaking at the trunk falling over towards the ice.
Both Spider-Man and Ghost Spider tried to web up the tree but the sparks kept melting their webbing and so they'd had to swing down and try to get as many people off of the ice as they could so the tree wouldn't hit anyone, Flash Thomason however had skated forwards pushing Randy and Sally out of the way of the tree before they could be crushed jumping forwards and shoving the two away as the tree had fallen on top of them and he'd let out a wail of pain and the tree finally stopped sparking once it was onto the ice.
"Ghost Spider, Get that thing off of FlaUh, that guy! Electro, you want me? Then come and get me!" Spider-Man called out as she'd nodded he went off with the villains following after him.
"ON IT!" Ghost Spider called jumping to land next to the tree and tried to push it but was slipping due to the ice.
She'd webbed down her feet and then gave a forceful push as the other members of the football team came over to help and all of them together gave a forceful shove causing the tree to roll back just enough to free Flash's legs and Mary Jane along with Sally both pulled Flash away from the treewith the team moving slowly so that they wouldn't get anything caught. Ghost Spider then tore herself free and they'd all began to make sure that Flash was alright as a paramedic had arrived.
Meanwhile Spider-Man had been getting clear of Electro finding a tire place and getting an idea he hopped the fence with Electro following and began to throw tires at him. "Is that your best shot?" Electro called while melting tirs that had been thrown at them.
"Pretty much." Spider-Man then called back after Electro realized he was stuck and then began throwing a stack of tires over the villain who'd melted it in frustration. "Well that coat, or coating. Looks great on you, non conductive you say? Well how about that."
Spider-Man then knocked onto the hardened rubber of the melted tires before adding "What I wouldn't give to end you right here and now, but Max is still in there somewhere and I can't turn my back on him no matter how much I despise you right now." with a serious calm and sorta scary sounding tone.
His spider sense then went off and a giant fist of sand slammed into him and Sandman appeared saying "Don't fade on us now, they were just the apetizers."
We then see Rhino stepping in front of him saying "Time for the Main Course." getting ready to flatten Spider-Man who was knocked into a pile of tires.
The two had began to attack him batting Spider-Man around with Sandman saying "This is kinda fun, sorta feels like old times."
"Ya, except now we're kicking his Butt." Rhino agreed before throwing Spider-man through a bus' front windshield and he'd moved around avoiding the people before going out the back one.
"Ow." Spider-Man then spoke going over to pier and calling out "Can't we just not do this for one night?"
""Nope."" The two then answered back as they'd gone after him though he dodged and ripped off the top of a hydrant and the water blasted Sandman melting him into mud before grabbing a scuba tank and hitting Rhino in the head with it.
"That all you guy?" Rhino then questions with a smirk since it didn't really do much damage to him at all.
"Hardly, come and get if if you think you can." Spider-man then called jumping out onto the ice with Rhino following. He'd thrown the tank to Rhino after he'd landed saying "Here, you're gonna need this." before the large tank of a villain broke thorugh the ice and into the water.
Spider-Man jumped and dodged the breaking ice and landed on the other side where Sandman was trying to attack but had been slowing down. 'He's slowing down, must be this cool night air freezing the water between his silicon particles.' the wallcralwer thought and went to fire a web seeing that his webshooters had frozen too. 'And they're not the only ones.'
He'd doged over towards a tree and knocked the snow down onto Sandman freezing him in place before then bashing his hands together calling "Alright Shocker, Doc Oct, come on out!" looking around for the final two. He'd spotted them and went to attack only to discover they were holograms and says "Great, now they got the great fishbowl working for them."
To his surprise Kraven is the one that attacked him next knocking him to the ground. "Seriously, hunting in packs now?" he'd questioned them as both Kraven and Mysterio went after him though thankfully Ghost Spider showed up too.
"Way of the jungle, the pack wears down the prey for the Alpha Male to crush." Kraven answered back as Ghost Spider fired webbing at his face.
"Aright so where's the lion?" Ghost Spider then spoke looking around for Kraven's pet not wanting to be off guard when they appear.
"Gulyadkin is with my beloved Calypso, they will not be joining this hunt." Kraven answered saying that his pet wasn't going to be there.
"But I certainly will." Mysterio spoke riding over on a flying serpent, another animatronic it would seem since they knew better to believe his nonsense was real magic.
They'd split off from there fighting their respective bad guys and Ghost Spider spotted some guns on display webbing one over to herself and grabbing it by the barrel turning to face the illusionist.
"What are you going to do, shoot me?" Mysterio questioned standing there on his fake serpent.
"What, don't be rediculous. I'd n-e-v-e-r do that." She'd spoken sarcasically drawing out the word never as she did so and then swung forwards striking Msyerio as if it was a bat and knocked them into a all before then jabbing the metal barrel into the mouth of the fake serpent jumping up out of the way as it's head exploded and she'd webbed the guy down.
Back with Spider-Man he'd kicked Kraven in the head calling "What happend, I thought you didn't believe in brining harm to civilians during your hunts!"
"No civilians were harmed." Kraven answered back telling him that he hadn't been aware of anything like that happening.
"Ya, tell that to the kid that just had his legs crushed by the tree that Electro knocked over!" The wallcralwer called out about how they did bring harm to civilians surprising Kraven and he'd used a smoke pellet to escape to find out more.
We then cut to the Hospital where Spider-Man had been looking through different windows finding the one where Flash was and saw that he had all kinds of clamps and other medical stuff hooked into his legs and knocked onto the windw and Flash looked over as the webslinger opened the window and went inside.
"Flash right? Listen, I'm.. I'm really s"Save it, I don't need your apologies."" He'd began to speak but Flash cut him off saying that he didn't want Spider-Man to apologize and they'd started to leave thinking they were mad at him. "Tell me everyone else is safe." The Quarterback spoke which surprised them.
"Ya, everyone's safe. Thanks to you no lives were lost." Spider-Man then spoke telling him everyone was okay. "But I just wish I could have done more to"Spidey, stop."" again Flash had cut him off when he'd tried to apologize about the situation.
"So I'll probably never walk again, and my football career is over. Good by College Schollarship, big whoop. I'd still do it again, even knowing what I do now. I'll still find a way to make it work out in the end, and hey chicks dig heroes. Getting my legs crushed saving two lives is bound to earn me pitty points out the wazoo." Flash then laughed about the whole thing choosing to see the bright side of all of this instead.
"How can you be so relaxed about this?" The wallcralwer asks him confused as to how he could see the bright side to this.
"Hey I saved the lives of one of my best friends, and his girlfriend too how can I not see the good? That, and they pumped me full of Morphine, lots, and lots of Morphine." Flash answered back before having a laught.
"You're crazy y'know that? But I promise that I will do everything in my power to help in any way that I can." They'd answered back about Flash being able to just joke about things like that and saying he'd do whatever he could for them.
"You're a Plumber now right? They were talking about having to amputate, think you can help me get some kickass replacemets?" Flash then answered back and Spider-Man laughed but nodded. "One more thing, can I get a selfie with my hero?"
"Flash, today you're my hero." Spidey answered putting his hand on their shoulder and the two posed for the camera.
