Tarantulas retreated to his lab, leaving Nightshade alone, so they approached Starscream quietly. "Lord Starscream, thank you for coming on such short notice." Nightshade said respectfully.
"Well of course, I see you've met Tarantulas." Starscream said in a calm, sociable voice.
"Yes I have, him and I have so much in common." Nightshade said before cutting themself off. "But there's something I need to talk to you about. A pressing topic, sir."
"Well? Ask away." Starscream said matter of factly
Speaking quietly, not sure their suggestion would be considered. "I think the only way to stop GHOST, is if the Decepticons could work with the Autobots."
Starscream thought over the suggestion for a while before sighing. "We've been fighting for eons. The wounds of war don't heal quickly. If only it were that easy." He said dejectedly. However he thought more about the suggestion. "However… the war is over. And if the Autobots dislike GHOST as well-" he mused before getting interrupted.
"They are. At least, they're against Mandroid." Nightshade spoke up.
"Excellent. So perhaps this unity idea isn't as futile as expected." Starscream said with a grin. "Thank you Nightshade, I'll have to plan negotiations right away. Any contingencies must be prepared for."
As he turned to leave, the duo heard a familiar voice speak, a voice that cracked Starscream's mask of confidence for a moment
"You won't have to wait very long, Starscream." The unmistakable voice boomed through the forest.
A massive figure stepped into view.
Megatron.
