Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 03 Episode 01
We see a prison that was surrounded by water along with having high walls and see that they'd taken Spider-Man into custody with Norman Osborn being there along with J. Jonah Jameson and Captain George Stacy as they were all walking the wallcrawler towards a maximum securty cell and talking together as they were doing son.
"The Vault will soon be the pinacle of maximum security incarceration." Norman states to the other two while they were continuing towards the cell for Spider-Man. "Put a Super Villain in here and they'll never be getting out."
"Music to my ears, now that we're putting this reprobate behind bars I don't wanna see him seeing the light of day anytime soon." Jameson states as the three were following to the cell they'd prepped for the wallcrawler.
"You don't have to take so much pleasure in this Jonah." George reminds the journalist stating that Spider-Man was there to test the facility for them.
"Oh but I do, I really really do." Jameson states back to them as we then see Spider-Man being pushed into the cell with the doors being closed behind him.
Once inside he snapps the cuffs they had him in and says "Haven't been in Stir for even five minutes and already I'm climbing the walls." Spidey began to joke around and tapped one of the cameras on the ceiling. "Just remember I'm only here because Normikins asked me to test the security. So if you're watching, and I know you are Picklepuss, don't go getting any ideas."
After awhile of checking the room he'd decided to make his move and covered the cameras with his webbing before pulling the guard over the light fixture off and snapping the bulb and taking one of his web cartridges from his new and improved webshooters that could auto reload and then put the wire into the connection hole of the cartridge he'd jut taking off.
The guards had run inside and found the place covered by webbing and found a large part dangling with one of them poking it with their nightstick saying "We know you're in there Spider-Man."
The Wallcrawler however says "I wouldn't do that if I were you." tearing down part of the webbing on the wall that he'd been hidden behind and the bubble they had poked began to release a knockout gas which Spidey takes advantage of jumping over the two pulling off their masks and throwing one at the keypad once he was out of the room and it had caused the door to shut on the guards as he'd called. "I did warn you."
He'd then ran through a shutting barricade door and calls out "Ta Da." as he does so which annoys Jameson seeing that Spider-Man was escaping.
"Calm down Jameson getting out of the cell was one thing he still has to escape the prison." The Warden then stated to them before picking up a red phone on a chord and says "Lockdown NOW!" and everything began to close off.
Spider-Man webbed a wall and tried to get through but the gates were closing all around him and he'd had to find his way out passing through the gates that weren't closing on him with Jameson yelling "WHY HASN'T THAT GATE CLOSED!?"
"I've hit the commands for every gate it should have closed already with the rest of them but it's not responding." One of the guys working at the desk stated to them.
"Gas commands aren't working either." The other worker stated trying to gas all the corridors to stop Spider-Man from Escaping.
"Looks like you've been hacked Warden." Captain Stacy then stated to them leaning on one of the monitor screens "Your men are no longer in electronic control of the prison."
"Well then we'll do it the old fashioned way." The Warden then stated picking up the red phone again saying "All officers, mobilize. Code Red!" while the two at the monitors began to run off to join the rest of the guards but the doors wouldn't open.
"We're locked in." one of them called and we then see that all othe other officers had also been locked into whatever room they were in at the time while the webslinger was still making his escape from the Prison.
"All of my guards are trapped in their stations." The Warden stated to them with Jameson getting frustrated to hear it.
"How, HOW DID THE WEBHEAD DO IT!?" Jameson yelled out in frustration angry to hear that Spider-Man was going to manage to get away again.
Spidey in the meantime had managed to make it to the cells area where they'd had the non powered villains he'd beaten around them and someone calls "Look it's Spider-Man."
He'd walked over to who spoke and says "Well, if it isn't Fancy Dan and Ox, where's your pal Montana?" seeing that some of his rogues gallery were there.
"Right here." Montanna called and he'd turned to see that he was in the cell with Beck that was across from where Dan and Ox were in.
"Well, and you're rooming with the Not so mysterious Mysterio I see. How's that working out for you?" The wallcrawler asked him seeing who he was stuck with.
"Open up these cell doors and we'll show you." Montanna stated to him in response to the question that they'd asked.
"Tempting, tempting, but no." Spider-Man then answered back saying that he wasn't gonna be doing that, however the doors had all suddenly opened up on their own and they'd started to surround Spider-Man.
One of them calls out "GET HIM!" and they all started attacking them as the webslinger had began to defend himself and was taking down a bunch of the inmates as he did so.
"We're wasting an opportunity here. Enforcers we need to get organized." A sliver haired inmate says to Montanna Ox and Fancy Dan.
"you've got yourself a posse Silvermane. And then some." Montanna tells them moving his hand towards the shoulder of Beck and pushes a button saying "See you learn alot about a guy while sharing a cell, like whether or not he's human." while the robot changed to the costumed persona of Mysterio instead of that of Beck like it was a moment ago.
"Of course he's another bot." Spider-Man complained as he'd began fighting the robot as it'd started blasting at them.
Meanwhile in one of the cells a guy had just been watching everything and a lazer cut out a hole from the ceiling with Black Cat poking her head through saying "Hi daddy." as she'd done so.
"Felicia what were you thinking?" The man questioned her revealing that Black Cat's actual first name was Felicia as he'd done so.
"I was thinking that my father shouldn't be rotting away in some prison cell." She'd answered back about what was going through her head.
"And what if you got caught? The last thing I want is my daughter winding up in Ryker's ladies wing." Her father stated to her trying not to make too much noise as everything was going on. "Besides your timing couldn't be worse. New York's most wanted currently controls the prison and they're trying to exterminate Spider-Man."
"Spider-Man's here?" Black Cat then questions hearing what her father had said and jumped down from the hole she'd been in.
Spider-Man meanwhile was dodging those little gremlin bots that the robot Mysterio sent out and Montanny had thrown a lasso over Spider-Man saying "I knew tearing and weaving all those sheets together was time well spent." and anothe imate had kicked Spider-Man over to Ox who'd wrapped him in a bear hug.
"Hold him Ox, I need the workout." The man called Silvermane says about to strike Spider-Man ready to use them as a punching bag.
"Oh boys." A feminine voice calls out and they'd stopped what they were looking to see who'd spoken to them.
"CAT!?" Spider-Man questions seeing that Black Cat was the one that had been calling to get their attention.
"Is Spider-Man really the best dance partner available?" She'd questioned them before being pulled back into the cell.
"Have your lost your mind or just forgotten everything that I taught you?" Her dad questions seeing what she'd been doing.
"What can I say, I've got a little crush." Cat answered back turning back towards the entrance of the cell that they were in.
One of the inmates says "It's a chick. Here." having been surprised by how things were turning out today.
"Brilliant deduction Sherlock." Spider-Man says while kicking Slivermane away from himself as Cat came over to help too.
"What was your first clue Spidey? Was it the voice, the hair, or maybe just the way I make you feel." She'd teased throwing Silvermane to the side while Spider-Man webbed Ox by the moustache pulling down on it before kicking them in the head getting free.
Spider-Man then kicked Montanna into the air before knocking them back down onto Ox before webbing him and the mysterio bot over to him and kicking them both with Montanna hititng Ox before he could get back up and then the Mysterio bot fell on top of them. They'd gotten into the cell where Cat's dad was and webbed it shut becuase the door was fighting him.
"Alright that should buy us some time at least." Spidey says as Cat's dad backed up further from the two while the others were trying to get through to them and he turns to Black Cat saying "Well, youre a sight for sore eyes Cat."
"My curitive powers aren't limited to the eyes." She responds while drawing little circles on his shoulder with one of her claws.
"Don't start, what are you doing here anyway?" The wallcrawler tells her while asking what she's doing at the prison.
"Oh you won't like it Spider-Man but I'm here to break out my father." She'd told him as her dad tried to stop her from talking about him but she just continued on pulling him over to them. "Spider-Man meet Walter Hardy, A.K.A. The Cat Burgular."
Spider-Man recognizes the man and had a flashback to the day that Uncle Ben was shot and clenched his fist seeing them again. We then see the Rhino ripping the bars from the prison cell and tearing the webbing finding that the cell was empty except for the hole in the ceiling.
"Just so you know, there's no way I'm letting you bust this guy out of prison." Spider-Man tells her as the three were crawling thorugh the vents.
"Says the spider desprate for the kitty cat's help." Black Cat shot back at him as they all continued to crawl towards freedom.
"Not that desprate. Never that desprate." The webslinger stated as he was crawling on the upper part of the vent.
"Gee dad, what'd you do to this guy." She'd questioned while they continued making their way out. "It's a simple trade swinger. I help you get the prison under control, and you look the other way for Walter."
"Do you have any idea what happened the last time I looked the other way for Walter?" The webslinger questioned getting angerier by the second.
They'd busted their way down out of the vents and Cat says "Here we are, back at the Vault where all the gas tanks are being held."
"Can the be activated and spread thorugh the prison?" Spidey questions hearing that they'd found the gas takns.
"Don't you think the warden would have done so by now if they could? Someone's gonna have to lure the cons here, seal them in, and then manually open the tanks." She'd answered back about that.
"Whoever did that would be trapped inside." The wallcrawler stated about what would happen in that sort of scenario.
"Exactly, and would a hero like you allow anyone else to take that risk?" She'd questioned about the situation at hand.
"I'll do it." Walter tells them volunteering to be the one to stay behind. "After all I deserve to be here after what happened."
"Daddy no you don't have to be the one to do it." Black Cat spoke telling him not to be the one to stay behind.
"For years the Cat Burgular took pride in never hurting anyone. Never even carried a gun, but as I got older I got slower and I became afraid. I made a horrible Mistake the night I ended Ben Parker's life, and I know I have to pay for my crime. So I'll do it. I'll release the gas." Walter told the two of them.
"This doesn't make us even, you're not forgiven for what you did." Spider-Man told him saying that he doesn't forgive him for what he did.
"I understand"Well I don't, Dad."" Cat spoke upset to hear that her dad was the one that was going to turn on the gas and remain in prison.
"I'm sorry Felecia, but I have to do this. Right now prison's where I need to be." Walter then tells his daughter as he nods over at Spider-Man who then begins to swing off.
We then see Spider-Man swinging through the prison back towards the cells and began to clear his throat to get the attention of the prisoners. "Any misbegotten malcontents misplace an extremely handsom webslinger?" which had made them all stop and stare at him and he'd continued to say "I think the tun of phrase you're looking for is Get him."
"GET HIM!" All of them yelled out at once pointing at Spider-Man as they all charged after him and he'd turned and swung away from these guys back towards the Vault. He'd gone down the stairs and destroyed the little gremilin robots as he did so going thorugh the exit door of the bottom as the elevator beeped and the other prisoners stepped out.
"Really, you guys got to take the shortcut? How's that fair?" He'd called before swinging off. and dodging around them with Rhino charging at him and Spider-Man calls "Tauro tauro!" mocking Rhino who'd charged at him horn first. Spidey however webbed the robot of Mysterio over to them and jumped out of the way with Rhino breaking the bot. "Sucker."
He'd continued to lead them off to where the gas was being kept and Montanna questions "Where'd that bug get to now?" while looking around for him.
"Ah, I never get tired of hearing that." Spider-Man says from behind them as he webs the wall and swings himslef down it and outside the doorway before shutitng it behind him and turning the locking mechanism to hold them in place.
"No Door stops the Rhino for long." Rhino says pushing everyone else out of his way intending to charge at the door.
"I won't need long." Walter tells them forcibly turning the valve so that it would release all the knock out gas and flood the room.
We see Cat about to drive off in a van with tears spilling over as Spider-Man who climbed his way out of one of the vents and he says "Feels like my spider sense is stuck on overload." with a sigh as a pumpkin bomb had gone off next to him and he'd just barely dodged and the two had started fighting with Cat noticing it in the mirror.
Goblin had managed to get the upper hand because of Spidey being tired out but Cat had kicked the bottom of his glider as he was flying towards Spider-Man and sending him off having to restabilize so he wouldn't fall off of the glider. Taking advantage Spidey began attacking the Goblin by pelting them with ball of webbing making them fly off.
"He's back.. The Goblin is back." Spider-Man says worriedly before turning towards Black Cat "Cat, thanks I"Listen carefully. I don't know what you did to infect my father with your stupid conscience. But it's your fault he'll spend the rest of his life in this hole."" He'd began to say but was cut off by Cat as tears began to fall from her eyes.
"And I'll never forgive you for that." She'd told him before jumping off the side of the building. We then move to inside the building where they'd finally gotten everything back up and running.
"Gotta hand it to Spidey, he beat the Vault and took down every con in the place." Captain Stacy says impressed while gesturing to everything going back to normal in the place.
