Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 03 Episode 02
We see Peter was sitting on his bed contemplating something and looking like he was torn on what to do. Finally he'd gotten up and went on downstairs to talk with Aunt May who'd been folding laundry at the time and cleared his throat to get her attention making his aunt look up at him.
"Aunt May, I don't know what to do." Peter told her upset going over to help fold the laundry so that they could get it done while talking.
"What is it Peter, what's wrong?" Aunt May asked as the two continued to fold the clothes as they chatted.
"Well, there's someone that I'd like to consider as a friend but.." Peter began to say but paused for a moment while Aunt May looked at him waiting for him to continue. "It was their father that took Uncle Ben from us" Peter finally stated to her.
This surprised Aunt May to hear what Peter was talking about. "Peter I know that it still hurts that he's gone. But they aren't their father, I don't think you should hold it against them for what he did." She'd told him saying that this person isn't their father.
"I know, and I don't. But we went to see their father as visitation and.." He'd began to state to her before stopping to take a deep breath before continuing to say "I Don't know if I can bring myself to hate their dad, even after what he did. I do hate what they did, but.. I don't know how to really put it."
"Well.. I think that Ben would be proud of you for that." Aunt May told him in response to what he was saying. It's okay to move past hating him for what he's done for the sake of your friend." She'd told him in response and Peter nodded hearing that.
"I need to go clear my head for awhile, thanks Aunt May." Peter says getting up and moving to head out for awhile.
We then see Peter swining around the city trying to get his head cleared from everything as he'd wondered why he just cant hate this guy no matter how much he wants to hate him for taking Uncle Ben away from them. He'd decided to meet up with Gwen and MJ about it along with Liz.
"I really just don't know what to do about it." Peter sighed at the end of explaining the situation he's dealing with right now.
"I think it shows how much of a good person you really are Petey." Liz stated to her boyfriend about the whole thing.
"Really I don't think you'd ever be able to completely hate anyone." Gwen stated adding in her two cents as well.
"I really wish we could help Tiger, but ultimately it's your decision on what to do. No one can make that choice for you." Mary Jane tells him with Peter sighing about not being able to outright get an answer about what to do.
Peter took a deep breath putting his head in his hands and having his elbows on the table to prop himself up. "I don't know. I just.. I hate that he took Uncle Ben, genuinely the thought makes me sick to my stomach. But I still can't bring myself to completely hate this guy outright."
The next day at school people had been talking about how Flash was supposed to be back finally after his absence over the past few days and Peter went with his group to see how Flash was doing now that he's back just like everyone else had wanted to see him. They'd seen that he was on a bench with some crutches beside him and was showing people his special cybernetics from the knee down.
"I can move them around but it's still gonna take some time to get used to using them to walk and stuff." Flash had told some of his former football teammates while rotating it at the ankle joint to show how it worked.
Yo, those look expensive, how much do they cost?" Kenny questions him seeing Flash's new prosthetics that he'd gotten while he was away.
"An arm and a leg, or, y'know, maybe just a couple of shins." Flash answered back making jokes about his prosthetics as the bell rang and they had to get to class.
After School the bell had rang and people were starting to clear out, however Peter's spider sense went off as did Gwen's and Peter quickly moved along with Liz to somewhere safe. "Wait until it's clear, then get out of here. We'll meet up at the cafe later." He'd told his girlfriend while Gwen had already changed.
Ghost Spider went to meet whomever set off their spider sense and discovered that it was Shocker alongside Mysterio and Doctor Octopus, the latter of whom says "I know it's here with it we'll be able to take them down once and for all." as they were spread out to go and find what they were looking for.
"Get out of this School!" Someone called out behind Ghost Spider and the person throws a heavy weight at the Mysterio knocking him through the wall and onto the courtard ground. "That did it." The person spoke as she'd turned to see who it was that just did that and saw a familiar white spider sigil along with a mainly black body and some white armored spots and black and white boots on too.
"VENOM!?" Ghost Spider called surprised to see them as Spider-Man was leading the good doctor and Shocker over that way.
"Talk later, fight now!" Spider-Man called as he'd jumped thorugh the hole made by Venom and the other two jumped out as well followed by Shocker and Doctor Octopus.
Mysterio had gotten up and began to fly away after the three spider themed individuals along with Shocker and the Doc. "Alright explain NOW!" Ghost Spider called demanding to know why Venom was suddenly helping them now.
"The Plumbers wanted to give The Symbiote a second chance to help people, and I'm the guy that drew the winning ticket. Call us Agent Venom." The guy with the symbiote stated telling them he could be called Agent Venom instead of just Venom.
"Did you know about this?" Ghost Spider questioned looking at Spider-Man hearing what Agent Venom had said.
"Didn't really have much choice, at least this way we can keep an eye on them just in case something starts going wrong." Spider-Man explained to Ghost Spider as the three made it to an area that had multiple buildings marked for demolition and landed atop one of them.
"After what they did to you, AND to Eddie!?" She'd demanded hearing that Spider-Man had given the okay to have that done.
"Spider-Man was the first human they've ever bonded with they didn't understand feelings. As for Eddie they just happened to be the first person that they came across after being rejected. I've actually sat down and talked with the Symbiote." Agent Venom then stated in defense of the Symbiote.
"We are going to have a Very, VERY long talk about this later." Ghost Spider then says to the two of them as the villains had caught up to them and were now looking for them.
"It'll have to wait, we've got company." Spider-Man told them seeing the villains that were after them now. "Ghost Spider, you handle Shocker. Agent Venom, take on Mysterio. I'll handle Doctor Octopus." and the other two nodded and broke off to handel the ones that Spidey told them to.
They began to fight against them with Ghost Spider webbing Shocker and yanking him off away from the other two while Agent Venom distracted Mysterio and Spider-Man handling the ringleader of the three.
"I was hoping to squash the main bug, but I guess you'll do." Shocker called as he began fighting against Ghost Spider.
"Oh I'm more than capable of handling you Squeker." She'd called back while swinging around inside one of the buildings.
"THAT'S SHOCKER!" The villain called angry and blasting at her while she'd continued to dodge around jumping from various spots as Shocker's blasts were damaging the areas as she'd dodged them.
"Sure it is." Ghost Spider called webbing one of the beams and then pulled hard on it causing the beam to snap and making the place start to come down around them as she'd jumped out the side of one of the windows.
Shocker looked around at the place coming down and says "I got the distinct feeling of Deja Vu." and began trying to blast the rubble so that he could get out of there but it was falling faster than he could run so he'd just had to create a barrier around himself with his gloves creating a pocket inside of the rubble as he does so.
The building had come down and Shocker blasted straight up hitting part of the old rubble that was up top that started to dangle from the damage as he did so. He'd then began laughing but the last of the rubble snapped off and struck against the top of his head knocking him over and Ghost Spider then webbed his gloves ad yanked them off of him before then hanging both of them up on the rubble by some webbing.
"Why don't you just hang around for awhile?" She'd questioned leaving him there for the cops before going to help Spider-Man.
Agent Venom meanwhile had been fighting Mysterio who'd sent out the little gremlin animatronics at him and the symbiote clad hero questions "Seriously, you're still using these thing? Get some new material already." while webbing some of the gremlins and swinging them around to hit some others.
"How's this for new material?" Mysterio questions and says some nonsense which made a large snake appear from behind them and they began to charge at them with Agent Venom looking surprised.
The snake had come at them fast and Agent Venom was about to block but something in their head says 'Ignore it, no spider sense no danger. Charge through.' and so They ran forwards towards Mysterio punching them into a wall before saying "Thanks pal." before more of the Gremlin bots came down in droves swarming around them.
The Bots had been clawing at them and cut part of the symbiote suite which made them angry as we see one bot flying off as Agent Venom sent a bunch of spikes from the body like a porcupine jabbing through the swarm like tendrils and making them explode. "Man those things are annoying." He'd said and saw Mysterio was trying to escape on one of the snake illusions but this one was solid.
Agent Venom webbed the serpent questioning "Where do you think your going?" and pulled hard making the serpent straighten out and be swung up over them and onto the ground causing the illusion to fizzle out revealing it was just a bunch of metal boxes linked together. 'It's down, focus on Mysterio.' the thoughts stated with Agent Venom saying "I got it." and went after Mysterio as they'd gone to rejoin the good doctor.
The two villains were backed into a corner and Doc Oct says "Perhpas this was a slight miscalculation. Mysterio!" Before calling to the illusionist villain who used green smoke to get the two of them out of there.
"Okay now that was weird." Agent Venom states confused by how easy that seemed and turned towards the others asking "Anyone else got a bad feeling about this?" and sees the two giving him a funny look. "What?"
"That thing used to be attached to me, did happen to tell you.." Spider-Man had began to ask about the Symbiote.
"Tell me what, like your scret identity or something?" Agent venom questioned asking if that's what they wanted to know before letting out a sigh and saying "Ya, they did. The two of us had a very long conversation about everything. I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure that we don't screw up our second opportunity."
"So it knows everything Spider-Man knows then that means.." Ghost Spider began to say realizing that Agent Venom had all the same information Spider-Man did.
"Ya, I know both of your identities and that you know each others too." The Symbiote clad hero states to them about knowing everything. "Spider-Man knows mine, but it's only fair that you do too." He then states with the helmeted mask moving from his face revealing Flash Thompson to Ghost Spider.
Meanwhile We see Doc Oct speaking with Mysterio saying "It's all according to plan." as one of the little gremlin bots had flown over spitting out black goo into a tube that the doc then placed a cap onto and looks through it as we see someone strapped onto a table, someone who had blond hair before the Doc then says "Yes, all according to plan indeed." with a twisted sorta smirk upon his face.
