Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 03 Episode 06
We see that there was a massive traffic jam and see that Spider-Man was swinging his way past and dropped at a place he wouldn't be seen and changed quickly into his street clothes before heading off to class. We then see later that they were at the class taught by Gwen's dad Captain Stacy.
"Alright people, time to choose partners for tonight's police ride along. Remember this is an educational endevor a front row seat at how the police operate, not a social activity." Captain Stacy told them about the activity. "So no arguing about who gets to ride with who, you guys are gonna come up and pick a paper from the hat if your numbers match you pair up. The numbers also match the squad car you'll be riding in so you can keep them closed until you get there."
This annoyed the students to hear that they couldn't actually choose who was pairing up with who. The three spiders all looked at each other considering their options but decided to go along with it just in case and so they'd lined up with the others and taken the papers keeping them closed and instead just putting them into their pockets.
We then cut to later as the three were swinging alongside Anti-Venom with Spider-Man saying "We gotta let Colonel Jupiter know what's up. I was kinda hoping to check out the new base today, but we gotta deal with the civilain thing."
"Hey no problem Bro, you three have fun and I'll explain it to him." Anti-Venom told them saying to just go enjoy the ride along.
"Thanks we owe you one." Agent Venom called as the three split from Anti-Venom as they'd headed down a side stree towards the school.
Anti-Venom however had noticed some broken windows and went to investigate while the three of them drop down and change into their street clothes before heading over to the cars with Flash using a cane to keep up appearances with Captain Stacy saying "Just in time load up car three with sergeant Carter and officer DeWolff."
"Looks like that's me." Flash states going to get into the car and finding out that he was paired up with Harry Osborn for this one.
"So you two rookies ready?" Dewolff questioned the two of them looking at them through the window of the door Hary was sitting next to.
Flash mumbled something under his breath while Harry says "Let the thrills begin." though didn't seem to confident about that.
"Thrills, please. They're not gonna take us anywhere fun with Norman Osborn's spawn in the car." Flash stated annoyed, though he was more annoyed about having to do the ride along when they could be checking out the new base. "Besides, cops don't handle any of the real threats anymore. Spider-Man's cluster takes down all the real Big Bads."
"What makes you think that your costumed vigilanties aren't actualyl Big Bads themselves?" Dewolff questioned while climbing in to ride shotgun.
"Oh come on Dewolff, kid's just saying what everyone is thinking." Carter tells her as they begin to ride off.
"Look Sarge, we've been through this Spider-Man and his group mean well, probably. But when you take the law into your own hands you go too far."
"Uh, Spider-Man's team are all Plumbers." Harry stated reminding them that they are actually cops. "Plumbers have a different system for how they do things, but they aren't Vigilantes."
"That has to be the smartest thing I've ever heard you say Osborn." Flash stated to Harry about what he'd just said.
Meanwhile Anti-Venom had gone into the bank and found Shocker blasting at a safe and questions "Bank heist, really? Isn't that a bit beneath you?"
"Nothing wrong with a good heist if the take's worth our.. Okay what? Don't tell me there's another new Spider themed hero. What's that make Four now?" Shocker stated turning around but paused seein Anti-Venom there instead of anyone he'd seen before.
"Name's Anti-Venom." our spider in the nonsentient Symbiote stated to them telling shocker his name.
"Well, we was expecting one of the others but I guess you'll do." Shocker answered back as Anti-Venom looked at them confused before his spider sense went off.
Anti-Venom dodged an attack from a large man but was slammed into by a smaller one before Shocker blasted at him and the guy that slammed into them bounced off the wall going back and kicking him again sending him towards the bigger guy that he'd dodged earlier who put his hands together and slammed them into Anti-Venom sending him into the wall causing it to be cracked.
"Ow." Anti-Venom stated slumping down onto the ground in front of the three of them as they'd been coming closer.
"Meet the new Enforcers." Shocker then stated before blasting at them though Anti-Venom managed to dodge.
"New Enforces?" Anti-Venom laughed hearing that before saying "You just gotta love those tug at your heartstrings reunion shows."
"Enough Yapping, Ox you're up." Shocker called with the big guy grabbing a desk and throwing it at them leaving a hole in the wall as Anti-Venom dodged. "Ricochet, go." Shocker then called as the other guy ran towards them and was dodged making them bounce off the ground and wall.
Shocker began to blast at Anti-Venom and they heard something big coming that way looking around confused as Colonel Jupiter had crashed through the wall and raced forwards tackling Ox into the vault door. "Just in time." Anti-Venom stated while being helped up.
"Would have been here sooner but they wouldn't let me leave until everything was signed for, strict time table and all that." Colonel Jupiter stated as Shocker blasted at the ceiling above them and the Enforcers had gotten out of there since they weren't informed of the new guys.
We then cut to after the robery where Flash, Harry, Sally, and Peter were all there as Harry was saying "You gotta admit a real bank robbery is pretty cool."
However Flash responds "No OsBrat, this is borning. A robery in progress would be cool." before walking over to Anti-Venom and Colonel Jupiter to speak with them about what happened as Peter took pictures.
"This is all your fault." Sally tells Peter while he's taking photos though he'd just been confused by that.
"Me, I'd never rob a bank?" Peter questions defensively asking just what exactly was his fault.
"Not this you dweeb. The social order, you crossed clique lines and cast some kind of geek spell on Liz." Sally stated making Peter sigh again hearing what she'd said.
"Are you seriously still on about that? Seriously Sally, get over it." Flash called back telling her to stop already. "News flash, real world don't work the way it does in movies. I'm a C student and even I know that."
Sally seemed insulted hearing that and says "I'm just trying to restore the social order here!" though all of them seemed annoyed by her.
"THERE IS NO SOCIAL ORDER!" Flash, Peter, and even Harry, all three yelled at her at once growing tired of her antics.
"Captain, over here." One of the officers called out and moved a cabinet finding there was a dry cleaner's next door that had been busted into.
They all start to leave including Anti-Venom and Colonel Jupiter who'd stuck around just long enough to tell the cops what they'd known about what happened and Flash pushed the door open annoyed making it bump Harry.
"Hey, what gives, I thought we were over that after I joined the team." Harry stated about being hit by the door.
"Ya, until you decided to go to europe with Mommy." Flash stated in response before adding "Luckily Hobie stepped up and we managed to make the championship no thanks to you."
"The thing is, I was drinking this stuff. Globulin Green it got bad and I had to go away." Harry explained to them.
"You were playing Juiced? Do you know what this means, if anyone found out the games you played would be disqualified. Along with our championship." Flash stated shoving Harry at the door and walking off with the cane moving away from the others before saying "And you, did you know about this?" He'd questioned the Symbiote wanting to know if they'd known already or not. 'The information of Harry Osborn was, irrelevant, at the time ast the Osborn has no significance to us.' The symbiote answered back.
"Ya well, they have significance to me." Flash then stated in response to the Symbiote with people looking at him seemingly talking to himself, so he'd quickly pretended to be on a headset so as to not look crazy.
We then cut to Peter along with Captain Stacy and Sally going off to another building as Gwen's dad says "The dry cleaner had a contract to launder Federal Reserve Uniforms, by busting into the bank the theives set us on the wrong path. Treasury Department's called in a Mobile Command Center. You two will be safe inside."
"Actually I need to get some pics, I could probably get some from behind that van over there." Peter told them gesturing to a different van than the one they were going to.
"Okay but be careful and stay out of sight." Captain Stacy told him putting his hand on Peter's shoulder and giving the go ahead.
Peter then went over to the van and webbed his camera to the window before slipping back further behind the van and changing into his hero costume before calling up the others. We then see that Gwen and Flash had recieved a call on their cell phones marked as Peter. The car Gwen was in had been thankfully stopped at another place and she'd gotten out of the car.
"Where are you going?" Liz questioned asking Gwen what she was doing since she'd tried to bolt so fast.
"Um.. Parents a food group, dragon to slay." She'd called confusing Liz and the cops as Gwen had ran off though they tried to chase after her she'd given them the slip by jumping up onto the wall and crawled quietly into a dark corner where they couldn't spot her.
Flash meanwhile had been in a moving vehicle and says "Yo, I just got an invite to somewhere more fun. You can just drop me off at the corner." telling them to drop him off.
Sergent Carter however says "Sorry, but no can do. We're responsible for you tonight and it'd look bad on the force if we just left you on some random corner."
Flash then crosses his arms mumbling to himself "Need a distraction." and the Venom Symbiote began to move on their own being thin enough to slide out the door stating 'One distraction coming up.' Though only flash could hear as it was inside his head, and then they'd popped the back tire causing them to swerve and have to pull over.
Taking that as his cue Flash got out along with everyone else and slipped away into a dark alley webbing his cane up high enough no one would see and then ran off as the symbiote covered his body and they'd changed into Agent Venom again.
Meanwhile Colonel Jupiter and Anti-Venom had been patrolling when they'd gotten a call through their badges for where to meet up at from Spider-Man and had gone on the move to go and meet up with the others.
We then see George Stacy speaking with one of the injured officers saying "Three purps did this?"
"Excuse me, but I think we got a pretty good idea who those three are." Spider-Man stated to them as he and the others of the team were coming down to talk with them and they'd began to head inside.
"perps were tough but dumb. They destroyed the elevator The vault is eighty six feet below sea level. They're trapped it'll take days, maybe weeks to get to them." One of the guards says while Spidey was crawling on the wall behind them.
"Shocker's a pro, he wouldn't have just blasted it without some sort of backup plan." Spidey stated to the guard jumping down to join them as Colonel Jupiter forced open the doors.
"Well wait you can't"It's okay, they're all Plumbers." Captain Stacy spoke cutting the guard off telling them Spider-Man and his team have the authority to go in.
"CJ looks like you may not fit, stay uptop incase anything happens." Spider-Man told the big guy about the plan.
"You got it Spider-Man." CJ stated telling them he'd handle things up top as Spidey, Agent Venom and Anti-Venom all moved to climb down.
"I'll stay with Jupiter here, just in case we need some webbing." Ghost Spider told them and the other three nodded.
"Be careful." Anti-Venom spoke as they'd started making their way down to meet up with the enforcers.
"C'mon I'm getting Ansty here." Agent Venom told them taking the lead as they'd been headed down to the vault.
As they were climbing Ricochet had came bouncing towards the three of them and they'd all webbed the elevator shaft so that they'd blocked the way off with the villain hitting against it and tearing it from the walls making the webbing wrap itself around them and they'd jumped down webbing them and swinging in a circle to tie the webbing off letting them drop.
"So much for element of surprise." Anti-Venom stated jumping from the wall and falling straight down with the other two following and they'd webbed the wall once near the bottom stretching the weblines as they'd used them to slow their decent.
Agent Venom then kicked Ricochet over at them as Shocker was blasting at a wall and made the web ball smack into him. "OX!" Shocker called and the big guy rammed into the wall taking a load of gold with them as the two tried to escape.
"Where do you think you're going?" Anti-Venom questioned webbing Shocker as they tried to pull them back into the room.
Shocker however turned and blasted at them before boarding an underground traincar but the Three Spiders had managed to derail it by swinging and kicking it on the side knocking it over as they did so. Ox and Shocker tried to get up topside through one of the manholes and carried some gold to an empty armored car.
Spider-Man however webbed Shocker jerking him back as both Anti-Venom and Agent Venom webbed Ox pulling back on him and giving Coloenl Jupiter a clear shot as he'd charged at them and the two slammed into one another damaging Ox's suit in the process.
Shocker had tried blasting at Spider-Man hitting the van that Peter was supposed to be behind in the process as his camera had bounced over towards the Mobile Command where Sally was but he and Ghost Spider handled Shocker pelting them with balls made up of webbing before Agent Venom and Anti-Venom both webbed his guantlets and jerked hard ripping them and his sleeves off in the process.
"Alright we gotta get going, can you take it from here Captain Stacy?" Spider-Man called asking if they could wrap things up.
"You got it Spidey, go." George called back as Spider-Man and the others all headed off to do other things.
We then cut to the cars all meeting back up in front of the school where George was very angry about the group disappearing on them. "What exactly were you thinking?" He'd demanded to know from them.
"That I had better things to do than ride in the car all night?" Flash answered back as if that was an obvious answer.
"I uh, had to take a bathroom break and left my camera on Auto. You guys were gone by the time I got back." Peter then answered as well.
"And you young lady? What exactly was so important you had to leave in such a hurry?" Captain Stacy questioned his daughter and why she'd disappeared too.
"Um.. Girl problems." Gwen answered faking embarrassment about why she'd had to leave in such a rush.
This had managed to calm him down a bit since they were at least all safe, though he was still suspicious of what happened. The next day the Principal had gathered both the coach and football team around the championship trophy.
"I'm sorry Coach, but I had to report Harry Osborn's actions to the N.Y.S.H.S.F.F." The principal had stated to them taking the trophy from the case before adding "The Mustangs' championship title is now under review."
The team were angry at Harry for what he did "Nice one Osborn, bad enough you were playing juiced, but you had to spill and ruin it fo"He didn't spill, I did. The title is meaningless if it's not won fair and square."" Rhandy began to say but was cut off by Flash stating he was the one who reported it.
Sha Shawn had overheard and once the team had left she'd told Flash "You did good, they'll see that.. eventually." finally having seen some good in Flash before then asking "In the mean time, you wanna grab a coffee?" Which had made Flash smile seeing that some good did come from it after all.
