Spider-Man: Spectacular Season 03 Episode 07
We see a flowershop where Spider-Man had webbed up a couple of guys arguing about who's turf this was either Silvermane's or the Big Man's and Spidey just sighed since all he wanted was flowers for tonight since it was valentines day and asked the shopkeeper "How much for a buquet of roses?"
"For you Spidey, this one is on the house." The worker told them saying that he could have it for free after helping them.
"Thanks. What would you recommend for someone amazing, beautiful, and one of a kind?" The Wallcrawler questioned the Shopkeeper who'd thought about it for a moment.
"Well, I think I've got just the thing." The Shopkeeper told them and then began to get to work making a bouquet for the webslinger.
They'd started by getting a hybrid blue and peach rose for the center of the bouqet and then surrounded it with hybrid blue and violet roses and then the outer most part of the bouqet was just normal violet roses which gave the bouquet a the appearance of starting bright in the center and darkening out as it went.
"Oh that's perfect, thanks alot." Spider-Man spoke thanking the shopkeeper for helping them get a gorgeous bouquet for his date tonight.
"You're welcome." The Shopkeeper told him as Spidey then headed on out with the bouquet and off to swing by the base.
We see them all moving various objects around to get the place set up to their liking. "So, you guys got anywhere planned?" Flash questioned about what they were doing.
"Don't have any plans." Ghost Spider Stated to them saying she doesn't have any plans on that front.
"Ya, same here." Anti-Venom also added saying he doesn't have a date for Valentine's day either sadly.
"I haven't really had time to find a date with the spores and the heroing, don't see how you guys even manage to have personal lives." Colonel Jupiter told them also not having a date before then asking "What about you Spidey?"
"Ya actually, got a date tonight at that new place in town. Called to get a reservation the moment they opened." Spider-Man answered back saying that he's got reservations before looking at the time and adding "Actually I need to go get ready, think you guys can handle the rest?"
"Ya, us too." Agent Venom saying that they also needed to leave to get cleaned up and stuff as well.
"Go ahead, we'll handle things here." Ghost Spider told the two of them saying to get going and they'd deal with the rest.
We then cut to later with Peter being dressed up and meeting Liz at her apartment seeing that she'd won a little black dress that was form fitting but not revealing and it'd looked really nice on her.
"Wow, you look incredible." Peter told Liz and gave her the bouquet of flowers that he'd gotten earlier.
"Oh Petey, they're beautiful." Liz spoke taking the flowers and seeing how they were arranged and found a vase to put them into.
"You really are." Peter spoke more to himself though she could still hear him and it'd made her blush slightly as they'd gone to head out to the resturant.
Peter had driven a blue hard top convertible that was a two seater to the new place which Liz had thought was a really nice car. "Where'd you get such a nice ride?" She'd asked him admiring the vehicle.
"If Aunt May asks, it was a gift from the Bellwood Plumbers Branch for fixing a glitch in their computer system." Peter answered as they'd gotten in together and buckled up driving on off. "I got my license on my sixteenth birthday, but never had a ride to use it until now."
"So that's the cover story, how did you actually get the car?" Liz questioned as they were going down the street towards the resturant.
"I bought it with my Plumber earnings for Spider-Man being a part of the P.H.D." He'd answered back about how he actually got the car and they'd one to the parking lot of the new place finding a spot and then headed inside.
"Oh, you remembered I wanted to try this place out." Liz spoke about the new resturant they were going to and so they'd gone in.
"Thought it'd be nice to treat you." Peter answered and went up to the man in charge of seating and stuf saying "We have a reservation, Peter Parker."
They checked the book and nodded taking them to a booth that had a nice view of the city but still would give them some privacy too and the Waiter came over with the menus handing them each one though Liz couldn't make heads or tails of what was on there however they had photos with them. Her menu also didn't have any sort of pricing on it that she could make out.
"I'm thinking Rabularian Abtat to start with and to drink, let's go with X'Nellian sucré limetta." Peter spoke placing an order.
"Uh, ya let's go with that." Liz stated finding what it was on the menu and just decided to go with that too.
Meanwhile Flash was on a date with Sha Shan and dropped his fork saying "Oops, let me just get that." before then bending down under the table and then began to whisper "Okay, I'm freaking out here. She's gorgeous in that dress I need help to do this right." He states in the whispering tone with the Symbiote questioning 'Why, is this not a you thing not a we thing?' inside Flash's head.
"Sha Shan likes integrity and smartness and stuff, just.. if i go to say something stupid give me some sort of signal but make sure she can't see you." Flash told the Symbiote who responds by saying 'Very well then.' in Flash' head and the blond began to get up but the symbiote says 'Stop, fork. Suspicious if you don't pick it up.' with Flash answering "Uh, right." and picked up the fork.
"That seemed to take longer than it should have." Sha Shan pointed out being suspicious of how long it took Flash to get the fork.
"Oh uh.." Flash began to say racking his brain for an excuse 'It fell under the seat' The Symbiote put into his head which he'd repeated saying "It fell under the seat."
We then cut back to the base where John had gotten a call from Jonah and he says "Calm down Pop, who doing waht now?" and sits there listening though the other two couldn't hear. "Alright we'll be there soon." He'd then stated before hanging up. "We got a three way brawl between Doctor Octopus, The Big Man, and Silvermane."
"Then let's go." Eddie spoke making the symbiote recreate his mask and the three of them began to head out. "We should let Spider-Man and Agent Venom know what's going on too."
"You realize what'll happen if either of them get a call from a girl while they are out on a date for valentines day? You call them." Ghost Spider told him saying that he'd have to call.
"Good call." Anti Venom spoke and placed a call first to Peter and give him the heads up.
"Bro I'm on a date." Peter stated before hearing what's going on "They're what?" he'd questioned hearing what was being said. "I can't believe this, it just had to be valentines day." he'd stated annoyed "I'll try to make it soon."
"Trouble?" Liz questioned hearing that Peter had to go in a rush and he'd nodded putting cash on the table for the tab.
"Just in case I don't make it back before dessert try the artifical Tiffin." He'd told her leaving the money so as to not stiff her with the bill. "Doc Oct is fighting along with Silvermane and the Big Man."
"Be careful Petey." She'd told him putting her hand on his arm and he'd nodded before Liz then gave him a kiss for luck and he'd headed out.
Meanwhile Flash was getting that same call and looks concerned hearing what's going down. "Alright we'We should remain, Sha Shan doesn't know that We are Agent Venom and will believe that you simply ran out on her.'" Flash began to say but the symbiote interrupted him in his head pointing out that Sha Shan doesn't know what's going on.
Flash let out a sigh and says "Alright, call us if you need help." before then hanging up and sat back down in his seat after taking the call.
"Everything alright?" She'd questioned seeing how Flash was acting and being surprised that he'd looked worried.
"Uh, ya. A friend just called for some help with something is all." The blond responded to his date stating what was going on.
We then see Doctor Octopus attacking both Silvermane and Tombstone at the same time and Spider-Man swings past landing on the chandelier and called out "Wow, three way battle to declare New York's biggest jerk. Where do I start with you three?"
"How about we start with your dimise!?" Doc Oct caleld climbing the wall with his metal arms and using the upper two to cut the chain. on it though Anti-Venom webbed Johan and two kids that were under it and pulled them to safety.
"You're welcome." Anti-Venom called and went to join into the fight followed by Ghost Spider and Colonel Jupiter.
"Way to go Johnny!" Johan called out with Colonel Jupiter coming over to speak with them while the others were fighting.
"Pop, I appriciate the encouragment, but get out of here!" He'd told them yelling the last part and making them run off before turning and being punched in the face by Silvermane who'd knocked him through the glass entrance and part of the wall as well.
Doctor Octopus had shoved Anti-Venom through that same hole and chased after while both Ghost Spider and Spider-man punched Tomstone sending him through there as well and Captain Stacy had the cops there calling out "Cordon off the area, priority one is protecting civilians." telling the other officers what to do.
Flash meanwhile was tapping his finger on the table starting to get antsy and finally had gone stircrazy and says "Sha Shan, I'm really sorry but I gotta go help my friends." getting up in a hurry 'At least pay the tab.' The Symbiote spoke inside Flash's head and so he'd thrown down more than enough for what they'd had ordered. "I'll try to be back as soon as I can." Flash stated before then running off.
'You are in so much trouble Flash Thomson.' The Symbiote stated inside Flash's head as they'd ran up to the roof and it'd wrapped itself around him before the two jumped and swung off to go help the others.
"You are in so much trouble Flash Thompson." Sha Shan spoke annoyed about him running off like that.
"There is so only one way I'm getting out of this one." Agent Venom spoke aloud as he'd found the others and webbed Silvermane in the face calling out "Sorry we're late." while L. Thomson Licoln tried to help Spider-Man fight Doctor octopus.
"Save the act Tombstone, you're going away with these creeps." Ghost Spider called webbing him in the back and swinging them into one of the sculptures.
"We all know you're in on it too and we saw you fighting with them." Colonel Jupiter called charging at Silvermane and slamming into them with his shoulder as Agent Venom went to help fight them too.
Slivermane blasted them and picked up squeezing Agent Venom and the symbiote had created spikes all around the suit to help defend theirself and they'd heard a strange sound 'Flash, the suit is hydrolic, pull the cables.' they'd stated and so they'd webbed them yanking them out making Silvermane drop. "Nice call Partner." Agent Venom spoke aloud before kicking Silvermane over towards the cops to get them out of the way.
"Anti-Venom, Ghost Spider, trade dance partners!" Colonel Jupiter called and theyd nodded with Anti-Venom then charging after the doc while Ghost Spider went to fight Tombstone along with Agent Venom and Colonel Jupiter.
Anti-Venom webbed a chunk of broken debris and swung it at Doc Oct who'd broken it but didn't have time to react as they'd used it to hide what Spider-Man was doing and he'd struck Oct in his temples causing him to loose focus and drop to the ground where Spidey then hit the round part of his harness and removed the power supply making their arms drop to the ground.
"Hey I got an idea." Anti-Venom spoke picking up one of the robotic limbs before saying "Remember the old plane toy from when we were kids?"
"Oh I like where this is going." Spider-Man spoke picking up another part of that same arm close by them and the two began to spin in place together dragging Oct across the ground faster and faster until they'd lifted off the ground while they were swinging them.
"Alright, on three." Anti-Venom called and Spidey nodded letting them start the count with the Symbiote Copy clad hero calling "One."
"Two." The red and black clad hero called as they'd continued to swing them around faster and prepared to let go.
"THREE!" Anti-Venom then called as he and Spider-Man then let go sending the Doc towards the others and called "TAG OUT!" with the rest of the heroes moving out of the way as Doc Oct's body slamed into Tombstone sending them both into a sculputre and making it drop down on top of them.
The Cops had then began arresting the three criminal leaders while Jameson had been ranting about arresting Spider-Man and his group however Captain Stacy says "You know your son is a part of that group right? Besides He's not as upstanding as you think he is." and then palys back the recording that Spidey had gotten a long time ago.
"See Thompson, you're not the only one who knows how to play the long game. We've had you beaten since our first encounter, you just never realized that." Spider-Man stated pointing that out with a smirk under his mask though they couldn't see it.
"Thanks for your help, I'm sure this wasn't how you wanted to spend your Valentines da""VALENTINES DAY!""" The poliece captain began to say but was cut off by Spider-Man and Agent Venom remembering their dates and so they'd both raced off.
Peter had made it back just as Liz had taken the first scoop of her deserte while Flash had gone to meet up with Sha Shan who was very annoyed by him just leaving like that. "I know, you're mad. But trust me it was important that I had to go." Flash stated to her.
"And just what was so important that you'd had to rush off without an explination?" Sha Shan questioned looking annoyed wanting an answer.
Flash took a deep breath and then pulled her towards the roof saying "I'll show you, I'll show you the real honest truth about why I had to go." she'd been annoyed but went along with him and Flash then says "Do it." which confused her.
"Do what exactly?" She'd questioned annoyed that she'd been pulled to the roof and still doesn't have an explination.
'Are you certain about this?' The symbiote questioned inside his head him making sure this was what he'd wanted. "Yes, now do it." Flash answered with the symbiote saying 'Very well.' though only he could hear and it'd wrapped itself around him revealing to her that he's actually Agent Venom.
