Infinite Stratos: Vengeance of the Magician Emperor

During the Excalibur Incident, Tabane Shinonono's true intentions are revealed. She was not after Chifuyu and the students, she was after a certain well-known man, the Russian 'Magician Emperor' who goes by the name of Ilya Novikov. With the tragedy of the Excalibur Incident behind him, Ilya must ally our well-known characters in an effort to stop both Tabane and the Phantom Task.

1. Chapter X: Prelude (Forewords)

Hello everyone! Gesischteteller here, I have some pretty important news for you all before you go ahead and read any chapters of my very own Infinite Stratos: Vengeance of the Magician Emperor series. At the conception of this idea, I planned to make a faithful continuation of the original IS story to include Volume 13 of the LN series, which was meant to be the closing chapter of the Infinite Stratos story. However, as I kept writing and conceptualizing the kind of story I wanted to tell, I realized that it would be difficult to incorporate the ideas and themes I wanted to while keeping myself to a faithful continuation of the original plot/series. With that in mind, I do want to say that I am not profiting from anything I write in this fan-series, it is merely a side project of mine, my first one of this kind actually.

The plot in Infinite Stratos: Vengeance of the Magician Emperor continues right after the ending of Volume 12 of the LN... With some slight altering to prior plot events/order of things to make it work in the way I wanted to. The point of departure is the conclusion of the Excalibur incident, and at the point where the story starts, I don't plan to be extremely faithful to the original works of Izuru Yumizuru (the main canon storyline of IS), but no existing characters will undergo a massive retcon. The only real difference is the addition of a few new characters, a few additional IS' and a slight addition to Tatenashi's and Tabane's characters respectively.

With that being said, I hope you all enjoy reading this clusterfuck that I've amassed, and I am sorry in advance if the first few chapters are rushed, since I've only been working on this project for a week so far, and I have a lot of work to do to my existing writing before any major chapter releases happen. However, if the premise and first chapter is well-received, I think I could release Chapters I and II relatively soon, as they're both quite deep into their respective storylines already.
