Have I ever told you about my son? Remarkable Boy. Quite Smart. He was born in a robot factory in the Solana Galaxy. But to be precise, he was created much farther away. My son's name is XJ-0461, but the universe..our universe… knows him as Clank.

Now, my son has been held captive by the evil Dr Nefarious inside the Great Clock with no way to escape it.

With another universe colliding with ours, can these mysterious friends help my son escape?

BREEGUS SYSTEM, POLARIS GALAXY

"Space. It's huge. So huge, in fact, that if you lost your car keys in it, they would be almost impossible to find. Luckily for Ratchet, Captain Copernicus L. Qwark was on the case. His mission: Rescue the Lombax's one and only friend. Yep. Without Clank, Ratchet was alone in the universe. Alone. Alone."

"Qwark.. Cut the crap. You realize this ship has an ejector seat, right?" A voice said to Qwark. He was already on edge over not finding his best friend. "Just keep your eyes peeled. Talwyn says this sector is crawling with mercenaries and this new string of creatures."

"Ratchet, my young childish Lombax…Rest easy, my friend. My vigilance is both eternal and peripheral." Qwark said, starting to relax a little bit. Though his small bit of relaxation was thwarted when the ship they were flying started flashing bright red lights.

WARNING WARNING! Unidentified anomaly detected.

Just then, a pulse of black light started coming in fast behind the ship. Ratchet grabbed hold of the ships' controls, going through some evasive maneuvers to try and steer clear of the pulse. This proved unsuccessful.

The ship was hit by the pulse, rendering all electronic devices useless. "Oh no. We're going to die! We're going to die! Good thing I'm wearing clean underwear!" Qwark screamed out, much to the destain of Ratchet.

"Will you shut up? We are not gonna die! Aphelion, engage grav-o-metric stabilizers!" Ratchet asked the ship.

Negative. Stabilizers offline. Thrusters offline. Landing flaps offline.

"Okay, so we ARE gonna die." Ratchet said as the pair screamed aloud, the ship now falling to the planet below them.

Zolar Forest, Planet Quantos

They expected to hear a crash when tearing through the lush landscape of planet Quantos. When Ratchet opened his eyes however, he noticed the ship was floating in mid air..in fact, everything around them seemed to be frozen!

"Ugh my head." A young voice said as he slowly stood up. He looked around, not knowing where he was. Summoning his weapon of choice, the Keyblade, he kept it at the ready. After all, he wasn't sure what was friendly or hostile in a world like this.
