Six months ago, or maybe it was just a few weeks ago. I don't know anymore; it's been hard to keep track of time these days.
Strange portals began to appear all over the world; at first, we were all curious as to what might come out, but when nothing happened, we all became used to that seeing them, and then one-day entire armies began to invade our world.
We tried to defend ourselves, but no matter what we did, the invaders killed ten of us for every one of them that we managed to kill.
I gasp for air as I look at the oddly beautiful face of the alien that resembles an elf as it pints its weapon toward me, I want to scream, but for some reason, I can't make a sound.
I can hear the people around me screaming as they are being shot and killed by the aliens, and then everything becomes quiet when a flash of green light appears from nowhere.
Flashes of green light bathe what's left of the city before swarms of what look like insects that are made out of metal begin to attack the invaders.
the elf that was about to kill me was killed before it could react; I can hear something dragging itself towards me before it stopped moving when it reached me.
I hesitantly turn around and find myself looking at what looks like the top half of a human skeleton, but its lower half looks as if it belongs to a snake.
This wasn't the strangest thing, as the entire thing is made out of metal, meaning that it's some kind of robot.
I'm forced to look up when the entire sky is covered with green light, it looks as if a weapon has just been fired, and judging by the explosions that follow, that's what must have happened.
Another flash of green light, and the robot grabs my hand. I try to pull away, but it doesn't let me, no matter how many times I punch and kike it, it doesn't let go.
The robot covers me in a green light and sit does something to my body as a warm sensation spreads over men, then it lets go.
For a long moment, I can only watch as it slithers past me, and then I realize that the pain that I have been feeling from my injuries is gone.
I begin to look at my body, and I notice that all of my scars are gone, including the ones that I got when I was a child.
I begin to look around and find that everyone else that survived the attack looks completely healthy. I don't know what's going on anymore.
It doesn't take longer than an hour when something else happens, ships begin to land, and some of the people that were taken by the elves are returned to us by the machines.
It looks like our calls for help were heard by someone out there.

This was a nightmare; I had no other choice but to activate every drone and send them through the portals to see what exactly I was dealing with and to find the Humans that were taken.
Unfortunately, there isn't any good news other than the fact that I was able to find most of the surviving Humans, everything else is bad.
The Nekrons are pushing out all of the invaders back through their portals while the rescue teams are dealing with the aliens on the other side as they rescue all of the stolen Humans.
Do you want to know something funny?
Whatever brought me into this reality gave me complete control of three super-advanced alien races and the technology of the Imperium of Mankind when it was at its peak, and I still don't think that it's enough for me to win this war.
I look at the screen in front of me, the last of the breeding farms have been emptied, and the cloning factories have been destroyed.
The Replicator fleets have swarmed over the alien's entire system, and they can't find any more Humans, so I order everything back through the portals before anyone knows that something has happened.
I can't help but let out a breath of relief, but it doesn't last; the machines are warning me that entire fleets and armies are approaching the portal.
The computer is telling me that I can with the war, but all of the Humans on the planet will die.
There is another option, I can grab these people and jump to another dimension and let whatever happens next happen.
it's not much of a choice, so I give the green light, and in an instant, all of the Humans and everything that they have built on the planet, along with the plants and animals, are gone.
As the elves ext the portal, they find themselves on a barren rock without any resources, as everything that had any value has been taken from the planet.
The ships in space scan the planet and find that there aren't even bacteria left.
the people of Earth could only watch as the invading armies poured through the portal, but they were shocked to see them pass right through them.
Then everything changed when the yellow sun changed color, and they found that there was now a white sun in the sky.
"Humans of Earth, I could not save you from those that attacked you if you remained in your reality, so I brought you into this one." all of the Nekrons said all at once to the humans on the planet.
"There are other Humans in this reality, but they are the Humans of this reality. I will protect you until you can stand on your own again and can spread through the stars, but until then, you must follow my rules." all of the machines said to the Humans.
No one protested because everyone was too tired and demoralized to do so.
Unfortunately for everyone, the cries for help of the Humans of this reality began to pour through, and because the machines were still operating under orders to protect the Humans, they answered the Human's cries for help.
the machines began to scan the area around this reality version of Earth, and they soon found that the humans of this reality were going to be destroyed by a more advanced alien race.
The machines took their master's speech and edited it to fit the current situation before they sent it to the Humans.
"Humans of Earth, I can protect you, but you will have to obey me from now on."
"I will protect you until you can return to your former glory, but if you choose not to, then I will leave."
The people of Earth accepted without hesitation, and they watched as an entire Minbari fleet was destroyed.
The humans cheered as the alien fleet began to create some sort of barrier around the sol system, but they made no other contact with anyone despite everyone's attempts to communicate with them.
The machine's only response was a simple set of words "Stay away from our ships. We are dealing with another situation."
