Timeline: Ninjago: After crystal king BUT before Dragons Rising (all have their powers again) (PS I do not ship Lloyd x Harumi)

Miraculous: During Season 4 after Marinette told Alya she was Ladybug but before Felix stole the miraculouses. Also an au where Chloe is still queen bee and Zoe doesn't exist because she drives me CRAZY. Please respect my opinion.

Chapter One:

"I just wanted a NORMAL LIFE," Jay screeched, dodging a blast of fire. The tongues of flames scorched the stone wall behind him. Jay glared at Kai, who had missed the cloaked figure, and almost burned him to a crisp instead.

"But noooooo. I just HAD to become a ninja and..." Jay continued his rant until Nya purposely sent a blast of water at his face, causing him to gurgle. His fiance cast him a dirty look.

"We're trying to FOCUS," she growled, running in circles around the mysterious villain. She came to a sudden halt where a pillar if ice formed in front of her, courtesy of Zane.

While she was annoyed, the mysterious figure slammed into the ice, knocking himself onto his butt with a groan.

"Ice shot, Zane!" Kai whooped, approaching the figure while Cole raised walls of earth to form a makeshift prison cell. Lloyd nodded in agreement, the green clad ninja also making his way to their subdued enemy.

The figure had recovered from the full body slam into ice, and was fuming, but waited patiently for all six ninja to crowd around him. They had to lower the walls to truly capture him, after all.

"Cole," Lloyd said, nodding to the master of earth. Cole flipped his gi up and lowered the walls, revealing a patiently waiting creature. Lloyd summoned some of his power to his hand to be prepared just in case he got any funny ideas. The magic rushed through his veins and condensed on his hands, giving him a thrill of adrenaline.

"Who are you?" Lloyd demanded, his vibrant green eyes narrowing at the cloaked figure. He held his elemental power in a threatening manner.

"I am nothing and everything," the stranger hummed. "I am here and there; I am light and shadow. I am..."

"Alright!" Kai cut in, exasperated. "We get it. You like to use oxymorons."

"Silly, silly ninja," the figure cooed, ignoring being totally interrupted. "Silly, silly, silly ninja!"

"Why are we silly?" Zane asked, his tone of voice cautious. He knocked an arrow on his bow, but didn't raise it.

"The overlord can never truly be gone; no, no he can't be, never truly, of course. No, never, ever ever..." the figure rambled.

The ninja all shared a nervous look. They had their suspicions about this, but had all hoped they were wrong. Now their fear had just been confirmed.

"No, not while ladybugs and cats are still hidden away, hidden away, hidden away. Wish, wish, wish, wish, wish!"

Jay laughed nervously. "Oh, good. He's just crazy."

Cole pursed his lips. "I don't know. Something about all of this doesn't sit right. Maybe we should ask Master Wu about it." The ninja ran a hand through his thick hair, then glanced at Lloyd.

"I agree," Lloyd stated. "I don't want to take any risks when it comes to the overlord."

"Thank you, ninja!" the figure cackled, starting to rock back and forth. "You elemental powers gave enough energy to locate them! No longer hidden, hidden, hidden! I need to go find my ladybugs and cats! Ladybugs and caaaaatsss..."

There was a pop, and the figure was gone.

"Where did he go?!" Kai yelped, stumbling backwards in surprise.

"How am I supposed to know?!" Jay demanded, though he looked just as startled as the rest of them. He retreated to Nya and half hid himself behind her. She frowned at him.

"We need to talk with Sensei." Lloyd turned in his heel, and started to head back to their parked vehicles. The other followed. Despite how mad the figure sounded, each of them had a pit settle in their stomach.

The tea cup shattered when it hit the ground.

Sensei Wu's limp hand hung there, his eyes wide as he stared in horror at the ninja. He didn't even seem aware that he had just dropped his tea cup, or that the tea that had been in it was slowly soaking his shoes.

The ninja had never seen their teacher in such a shocked, terrified state. Wu was usually such a calm anchor in the midst of whatever chaos they were in. Yes, they did see him get angry, or worried, or any number of emotions, but the look upon Wu was unfiltered dismay.

Once he had recovered, Master Wu turned quickly. "Pixal! Get traveler's tea! And hurry! We don't have much time."

"Master Wu?" Nya asked, her eyes wide as she voiced what everyone was thinking. "What's going on?"

"This person you found," Master Wu explained, struggling to keep his voice calm. "Is after the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous."

Jay blinked. "The what now?"

"Two ancient artifacts that predate everything, even the oni and dragon. They are the parents of the oni and dragon. Plagg, miraculous of destruction, is the father to all the oni while Tikki, miraculous of creation, is mother of the dragon. They are very powerful, and very dangerous if in the wrong hands."

"What can they do, Master?" Zane asked while the other ninjas shared a silent conversation. They had to find and confiscat these weapons fast.

"Thankfully, kwamis are peaceful, kind creatures. Alone without mortal interference, odds are they wouldn't wield their power without good reason," Wu explained as he gathered together some supplies. "But if a person were to hold both creation and destruction, it would be chaos."

"Like...?" Kai prompted.

"A wish," Master Wu huffed.

"That doesn't sound so bad," Jay said, his tense muscles relaxing with the revelation. At least it wasn't, like, awakening Wojira or something like that.

Master Wu stroked his beard. "But it is," he said in a hoarse voice. "Destruction destroys every single realm while creation rebuilds it however the wisher desires. And there is always a price to match the wish."

"It destroys everything?" Cole whispered. This was serious news.

"Yes. There is no telling what this figure wants," Wu sighed.

"He could wish the overlord back," Lloyd gasped when the realization dawned on him.

"Or ten," Master Wu bitterly said. "He could wish for all life to stop living, or for power over every single realm."

Nya placed a comforting hand on Wu's shoulder. "Don't worry, Sensei. We'll find the miraculous first and secure it where no one will ever find it." She smiled sweetly at Wu, then turned to the rest of the ninja. Before she could say what she wanted to, Wu burst.

"No! You find this person from our realm then bring them back!"

"But Master," Kai spluttered, the confusion on his face matching that of the other five ninja. "Shouldn't these be kept where no one can reach them?"

"There is a special order," Sensei Wu hesitantly explained, "trained to protect every miraculous. They should be the ones in charge of them."

"There is more than one miraculous?" Zane was the only one to pay attention to the exact phrasing.

"Yes," Sensei confirmed. "But none as powerful as the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous."

Pixal entered the room again, carrying with her a bag of tea leaves. Her robotic lips were pressed together in concern as she handed Wu the traveler's tea.

"Stay hidden. So far, we have the element of surprise. You may have to wait a week, a month, maybe a year, but wait. The people of this realm aren't acquainted with elemental powers. Revealing yourselves prematurely could cause panic. Wait until you know you can catch our guy, then strike and bring him back to our realm."

"So, what, we just wait in a basement!ent of some abandoned building?" Cole scoffed, his dislike of the idea to wait evident in his tone of voice.

"Blend in with the people," Sensei Wu said. "Attend a school. Hide in plain sight. It will be less risky, while you can learn more about the realm. You will be fighting somewhere unfamiliar. Best to gain information about it while you can."

"We won't disappoint you, Sensei," Lloyd said, bowing slightly to his wise opened a portal with the travelers tea.

"Good luck, ninja."
