Flashback:

(Okay, here's the next one-shot! Hope you guys like it! Anyways, I wanted to talk a bit about the inspiration behind Zeke's character, as well. He takes a bit after characters like Sokka, Yuffie, Anne Boonchuy, a few instances of me and my sisters. Add these instances into a character and that's how Zeke was created. The inspiration for his fashion sense came from characters from The World Ends With You and their senses of fashion. Enjoy the chapter)

Wolf was sleeping, it was early in the morning, he was relaxed. But he woke up, he felt something. Wolf opened his eyes to realize Zeke was on his bed. "H-Huh? Zekey, when did you get here?" He asked, not wanting to wake up. The rabbit barely opened his eyes. "Daddy, I sleepin'…" He said, embracing his father. "Uh, okay, then?" Before Wolf could ask if Zeke had a nightmare, he began to smell something. Something stinky. "Oh! Zekey, again? You ruined your bedsheets, didn't you?" Wolf asked, sort of annoyed. Zeke was WAYY worse than Piranha sometimes whenever he had a dirty diaper. "Sowwy, Daddy." Zeke apologized. Wolf woke himself back up. "Come on, let's change your diaper, okay?" Wolf said, picking up his son. Zeke woke up a little more and shouted, "Poopy gwoss!" Wolf smiled a little bit. "Don't hafta tell me, buddy." He said, fixing him to where he could change the diaper. He grimaced at the horrible smell.

"Zeke, you really need to be potty-trained." He said, Zeke repeated him and said: "Potty-tain!" Zeke said. "Yeah, luckily, I managed to get a booster seat so you can go to the bathroom." Wolf said, chuckling a little.

Later in the day, Zeke was fast asleep. He club to his Pabu plush and his father holding. "Someone's extra sleepy today…" Wolf said, not understanding why. Zeke was always up and about, he'd be running across the room with crayons, or toys. "You gonna wake him up?" Piranha asked, sorta worried, but Shark realized the other reason why. "Dude, we're not waking the baby because you wanna play with him." Shark said, which saddened Piranha. "Aww…" He said, upset. "He may've tired himself out from yesterday. Zeke's gotta get rest, too." Tarantula said, rationally thinking. Zeke muttered in his sleep, "Abba…" He said. Wolf thought he was falling back on baby gibberish. But Wolf started worrying when Zeke started tearing up, "Shh…" He said, trying to calm him down by patting his back.

Zeke started muttering again…"Tell Mommy she'll be okay…and she won't be sick forever…" He said in his sleep. The Bad Guys looked at Zeke, saddened. Wolf quietly whispered, "She'll be okay, buddy. And when you're older, you can go visit her." Wolf said, hoping that would make him feel better. He was slightly confused, who was Zeke talking to in his dreams? "We'd need to find her, first." Webs reminded Wolf, "How? We don't know their last names." Snake said, addressing that problem. Whoever Reina was, she didn't leave her last name for Zeke to know about. And Wolf remembered that she didn't know the father. Wolf looked at his boy, upset. Piranha sat by Wolf. "I know what'll make him feel better, why don't we take him to the playground?" He asked, Tarantula folded her arms. "You just want to have the tree climbing contest, don't you?" Webs said, since Piranha spoke about that non-stop. Everyone looked at Piranha, questioning why he would challenge a baby to a tree-climbing contest.

Piranha looked to his side, "Nnnnnooooo…? …Ok, you got me. How else am I supposed to prove my mad skills at climbing?" He admitted it, without farting this time, if you could believe it. Snake rolled his eyes, "That's besides the point, I think." Snake, Wolf thought about taking Zeke to the playground and had a better idea.

"Well, a family-outing sounds fun, though. How about…we head to the observatory?" He asked, he remembered Zeke liked looking at the stars. Shark looked excited, "Okay! I'm in!" He said. Snake looked at Wolf, confused. "We're not going on a heist?" He asked, wondering why he would suggest something that wasn't a robbery.

"Snake, we can't put Zeke in that position. He's just a baby." Tarantula said. Snake just looked annoyed. "So? He's not ours. He's just a runt Wolf found on the street." Snake said, rudely. Everyone else just looked at him, wondering how he could be so cold. Snake was vitriolic and wasn't as empathetic, they knew that. But still, it stings. "Dude, that ain't right! You tellin' us you would've turned your back on a baby in need?" Shark asked, shocked. Snake rolled his eyes, annoyed that this was the question. "If he gives me a headache, then yeah." Snake said, coldly. Piranha just jumped up, aggressively. "Hermano, that's so stupid!" He shouted, Tarantula just looked at him, not really surprised, but still just a little. Wolf just glared down, patting his son's back gently, "That's cold, Snake. Even for you." He said to him. Snake just looked at Wolf, not sure how to take his best friend being angry. He sighed, "Whatever… Fine, let's head to the observatory." He said, reluctantly deciding to go with them. Shark looked back at Wolf, then it sparked, "Oh, I have another idea about how to cheer up Zekey!" Shark said, hoping his idea would work. Wolf looked at him confused, "What's the idea?" Tarantula asked. Shark went to look at his disguises. "Well, Zekey misses his Mommy, right? Probably wants to spend a day with her…" He said, Wolf already cringed.

"Shark…I already know where you're going with this, but…" Wolf said, already going to find this weird.

"I'll ask Zekey to play pretend and I'll be his Mom for the day." Shark pointed out his idea.

Wolf tried to find a way to deflect it, but all that came out was, "I dunno, Shark…" then he heard the baby yawning. Zeke started to wake up again. "Hi." Zeke said, still tired. Tarantula perked up, "Mornin', bud!" She said, happily.

"Hi, chamaco!" Piranha also, waving like a toddler.

"Hey, buddy! Listen, I'm gonna be right back." Shark said, grabbing an outfit for his idea.

"Hi, Uncle Hubert." Zeke said, Snake just looked at him, partially dejected. Why was he upset? Was he…guilty? "Hey, kid." Snake said.

"So, kiddo…Shark's gonna pretend to be your Mommy for the day?" Wolf said, Zeke just looked at his father, confused. "Why?" He asked, having no memory of his dream at the moment.

Wolf patted his head, "So, you can have a good day with your mom. Even if it's imaginary." He whispered. Zeke giggled, "Uncle Lou's nice." He said, Snake just looked at the rabbit again. How did he not understand that he was with a bunch of animals deemed monsters? Why is this kid not afraid of them like the rest of the world? "To you, maybe." Was all he said, muttering so he didn't start an argument again. Shark walked in, wearing a wig and a dress.

"There's my sweet baby!" Shark said, in a faux woman voice, picking him up and hugging him. "Hi, Mommy!" Zeke said, playing along.

"There's my sweetie-pie! Oh, you're not even dressed to go out? Oh, Wolf, are you serious?" He said, acting like a strong type of wife.

Wolf sweat-dropped, and cracked a nervous smile. He's dragging me into this?, he thought to himself. "Sorry about that, we'll go get dressed." He said, grabbing Zeke from Shark and taking him to get a change of clothes for the day. Piranha looked annoyed, and sighed loudly.

"Oh yeah, let's go look at boring stuff." He said, sarcastically. What could be so fun to Zeke at an observatory was Piranha's question.

(Later)

The Bad Guys put on some disguises, with Piranha looking like a child. Zeke held the hand of his "mother", excited to look around. Wolf was happy for his son, though he was wondering what his muttering was about. He decided to ask later if Zeke would remember his dream. "Look at teh pwanet!" Zeke said, pointing and looking at the Saturn model.

"Looks awesome, buddy!" Wolf said, excitedly. "Bet stars are awesome in bwue ab' pink!" Zeke continued, thinking of art he remembered seeing. "Who knows? Space is might be full of things, sweetie." Shark said, liking Zeke's energy. "Mommy, let's go look over here!" Zeke said, leading Shark to go check out another exhibit.

"Still don't really get why Zeke's not afraid of us?" Tarantula asked, hiding behind her friend.

"Kid's a baby, he obviously doesn't have common sense." Snake said, Wolf looked annoyed at him.

"I dunno, Zeke's a weird kid." Wolf said, still unsure of the answer. He thinks…it has something to do with how kind Zeke seems at this age. Toddlers you would expect throw temper tantrums, but that's a rare case with this kid.

(Later)

"Did you have a good day, sweetie?" Shark asked, still pretending to be his mom. "Uh-huh! It was fun, Mommy!" Zeke said, letting go of Shark's hand and hugging him.

"Love you." Zeke said, "Tank you, Uncle Lou!" Shark smiled, "No problem, kiddo." He said, returning to his normal voice. Zeke yawned, getting tired.

"Heh, time for bed, Zekey." Wolf said, Zeke following his father to his bedroom. "Oh, buddy. I wanted to ask about your dream from this morning? Do you remember it?" Wolf asked, his son looked back. "Oh! I was talking wit' my Abba for my Mommy!" Zeke said, "Abba?" Wolf asked, "Uh-huh! He's my other Daddy!" Zeke said, happily. Wolf got confused.

"Your other daddy?" Wolf asked, sorta confused. He thought that Zeke didn't know his real father. "Uh-huh! Mommy says when I sad, I talk to Him and He loves me." Zeke said. He loved remembering to talk to his Abba-Daddy

Wolf thinks he gets what he means, Abba must've been another name Reina used for God to Zeke. "Well, what does He say to you?" Wolf asked, why did he want to know? It's not like he believed in God, did he?

"He said she'll be okay. And he said he loves me and you, Daddy." Zeke said. Wolf looked at him, not understanding. God loved him, too?

"Well, I'm glad he loves you, buddy." Wolf said, brushing it off, but trying not to mess with his son's joy. "Well, bedtime." Zeke got in bed as Wolf tucked him in. "Night, Daddy!" Zeke said. "Night, Zekey." Wolf said, walking out of his room. He wondered about Zeke's dream, but quickly pushed it back. It wasn't really Wolf's time for redemption yet, but that time will come.

(Okay! So, I wanted to include a bit of a flashback to further establish how the Bad Guys got along when they first met Zeke. I hope I didn't make Snake too hate-able here, but I thought I'd touch up on his bitterness. For those new and didn't know, Abba is another name God goes by. It does mean "Father", after all. Anyways, stay strong and awesome! I hope He's with you in your heart!)
