Give Up the Dawn

"Don't you think it's a little petty of you to destroy the world just to get back at Osvald?" Ori huffed.

She'd come to visit Harvey to check on his progress on the Book of Demons. Since she was already there, Ori figured she may as well ask a question she'd been thinking about for a while now. In response, Harvey shrugged and rolled his eyes.

"Don't you think it's a little hypocritical of you to judge me when you're helping your brother bring on the endless night anyway?"

Ori glanced aside awkwardly. "Well, I..."

(He didn't have a point! Ori refused to say that Harvey had a point!)

"Besides," Harvey continued, "I'm helping you with something you need. I'd think you'd be a bit less picky if you were really that desperate."

"Er..."

"And I at least have more motivation than some people you've brought in here," he added dryly.

Petrichor casually strolled into the lab, probably for the sake of picking up the Darkling. "Hey, guys, what's going on here?"

"See what I mean?" Harvey said, jerking his thumb over his shoulder in Petrichor's direction.

The Dark Hunter tilted her head to the side. "...Huh?"

"I hate it when you're right," Ori groaned, turning on her heel and storming out of the room.

Where did her brother even find these people, anyway?!
