CHAPTER I
Symkaria Embassy, Upper East Side
"Now who would've thought the two-fisted Silver Sable was also a world-class chef?" Peter smiled warmly. He was thoroughly impressed by the Symkarian woman's culinary skills as the steak he'd just eaten was cooked to perfection. The mash was also great to with a nice balance of butter and salt. She also managed to make the asparagus that was off to the side taste good.
"There's lots of things two fists can do, Parker." Sable smiled back just as warmly. It was good to be able to take a break from work every once in a while, to enjoy private moments just like this. She'd been planning this dinner for a while now and she was quite pleased with the results. Aside from her master of the martial arts, swordplay and firearms, cooking was her hidden talent.
She wanted the meal itself to be simple but also heavenly to the tastebuds. She was also glad the Symkarian Embassy's kitchen was fully stocked and had everything she needed. The steak, mash, and asparagus came out exactly like she envisioned and seeing the smile on Peter's face when he tasted them all was an absolute treat.
Throughout the dinner the two talked about work and what was going on in their personal lives. Peter told a few jokes in between bites and Sable did the same. It was nice to not have to worry about supervillains, clients, the Wild Pack or just the world around them. In the main dining area of the Embassy, it was just the two of them. Well, them and a cozy fire Sable set in the fireplace before her boyfriend arrived.
While dinner may be over, the night sure wasn't. The pair were sat comfortably together in front of the dancing flames with two glasses of champagne between them.
"How about lips?" Peter asked softly as he gazed lovingly into her eyes. Silvija Sablinova was a very beautiful woman with an equally beautiful aesthetic, though the story behind it wasn't at all a pleasant one. He couldn't help but admire her long and silver however, it was simple too majestic not to. It matched well with her crystal blue eyes and silver colored bodysuit.
"C'mere, handsome... and I'll show you." Sable spoke just as softly, meeting his hazel gaze. He really was an attractive man when the mask came off. He had a head of wavy brown hair that she liked to run her hands through and a finely sculpted jawline. Not too hard and not too soft. It was almost hard to believe that the man who took pictures of Spider-Man for the Daily Bugle was actually the man behind the mask.
The two of them put down their wine glasses and leaned in close. They met somewhere in the middle and pressed their lips together. They both tasted like steak and champagne, but that didn't seem to matter much to the pair. They were in love and although they didn't yet realize it, it was a love that would last an eternity.

"Do you, Peter Benjamin Parker, take Silvija Sablinova as your lawfully wedded wife? To cherish and to hold until death do you part?" Colonel Nick Fury asked the eager young man before him. To think he'd be the one to officiate the Wedding between him and Silver Sable of people. Especially after what happened to Felicia in that Alley a few years back.
"I do." He smiled without a hint of hesitation in his voice. He didn't come all this way to the alter to get cold feet now in front of the love of his life and all their friends and family. His Aunt would never let him hear the end of it if he left a beautiful woman heartbroken like that on their wedding day again.
Nick nodded before turning his attention to the other half of the happy couple. Silvija Sablinova, AKA, Silver Sable. It was odd how she and Peter found each other among all the chaos in New York City, but he wasn't going to complain. The two seemed genuinely happy with each other and it wasn't his place to interfere in the Kid's love life. If she hurt him however... "Do you, Silvija Sablinova, take Peter Benjamin Parker to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
"I do." She answered earnestly. They eyepatch wearing man smiled at her and decided it was time to finally wrap things up. That and he wanted to try a slice of that apple pie Peter's Aunt May brought in that Logan told him about.
"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." Fury finished before taking a step back to allow the newlyweds to do what they obviously wanted to. The cozied up together and sealed their union with a kiss.
Happy cheers from those in attendance rang out on the deck of the floating air base. The Human Torch even flew up into the air to wright congratulations in the sky. When the pair finally pulled away, they were both blushing as the realization set in that this wasn't a dream. They really were man and wife now. Anything they did from now on they would do together.
"Peter, Sable, you should get over hear before all the pie is gone." May called out. Wolverine had just taken two whole slices, much to Nick Fury's annoyance, and everyone else was already lining up.
"We should probably get over there." Sable giggled.
"That we should, Mrs. Parker." Peter teased. Silvija smiled although her cheeks were turning slightly red. Silvija Sablinova Parker sounded nice on the tongue. The groom offered his arm, and the bride happily took it. "Hey! Save some slice for the newlyweds!"

"She's beautiful." Sable smiled at the precious little bundle in her arms. Wrapped up all comfy and cozy inside a snow-white blanket was a little baby girl. She had crystal blue eyes just like her mother and brown hair just like her father.
"She really is." Peter agreed. Never in a million years did he ever think he would make it to this point, married and with a newborn. Because of his duties as Spider-Man it was surreal to even think about and yet, it actually happened. He was a father now and Sable is a mother.
The brunette did the first thing that came to mind and hugged his wife and daughter. He was extra careful since Sable was still in bed and recovering from giving birth.
He wasn't the only one caught up in a rollercoaster of emotions either as Sable also never really thought she'd get to this point. Before she'd been married career as a mercenary and now, she was mother and had a daughter. Life was being very kind to her.
"I love you both so much." Peter whispered.
"We love you too." She whispered right back.
This was without question the happiest day of the young couple's lives. Today they welcomed Anatasia May Parker into the world. Without thinking the pair began to hum a little song that they both seemed to enjoy to the newborn. It would be yet another moment the two would never forget and would no doubt tell their daughter in the near future.
For now though, they could just rest and savor their time together away from their other responsibilities.
THE END...?
