I do not own nor claim to own anything Spider-man related, this is purely a work of fanfiction.

I jump off the edge of the building.

I bring my wrist out, holy shit this is scary. Out of my peripherals I can see buildings seemingly rising as I fall, before I shoot a web, attaching to a nearby skyscraper. I feel my body glide through the air as I hold the web with one hand, the other dangling to the side. I release the web, my body somehow instinctually knowing what to do. I shoot another web, the momentum flowing in my body as I swing faster, curving around another building. I hold it longer, releasing it later to gain height. I flip myself, facing downwards and feeling dizzy. I dive down, before shooting another web, grabbing a building and swinging up once more. My body handles the G-force, the muscle development from the spider bite proving its worth. I fly high into the sky, and I can't help but laugh, the exhilarating feeling of this pushing my body into adrenaline induced excitement. I release once more, aiming to land on a taller building. I do, scrambling to stick to the side.

This, this is so…its therapeutic almost, but exciting beyond belief. I pull my mask up, my mouth breathing in the fresh air. It feels good on my throat, before I gag, feeling vomit arise. I quickly climb to the rooftop, throwing up on the gravel. Fuck that's disgusting. Why is it green?

Never mind, what was causing my senses to go off? Oh! Right, I have a police scanner from my mom. I'm not sure how or why she had it…actually it might make sense. That doesn't matter anymore. Let me just activate it. Taking off my mask and flipping it inside out, wires and circuits are connected everywhere, with a layer on top to hide it and keep my face comfortable. Maneuvering a few wires around and adjusting a circuit and it works, along with the radio station. That's nice, listen to some Posty or Drake while swinging. Once I get that down of course.

I put the mask back on, and suddenly I hear an explosion. Is that the bank? My head tilts automatically like some dumbass and I hurry, diving off the roof. I shoot a web, then release. Thwip, release. Thwip, release. The mantra plays in my head constantly while I swing, and as I turn the corner, I see some guy in a yellow suit with these big ass gauntlets shaking the ground. Like shock-waves almost. Shocker? Yeah, that's a good name for him.

Maybe Mr. Shock Man. I swing over, landing in front of this weird guy.

"Hey! So, are you robbing the bank?" I speak out loud, more vibrations shaking the floor.

He grunts weirdly, looking over at me.

"You speak English? I know some Spanish, sorta. ¿Usted sabe Inglés?" He looked at me again like I was stupid, before shock waving himself into the bank, almost flying using vibrations.

I followed, swinging into the building and barely avoiding a wall. He grabs a large duffel bag of money, and breaks the ceiling, leaving again. I shoot a few webs at him, all of them being deflected by the shockwaves. A different angle might work. I follow him back outside, the cops now arriving on seen.

"Oh hey!" I say waving to the cops as I chase Shocker, finally getting in front of him. The cops point at me, before shooting tasers at me and Shocker.

"Wait wait!" I yell, weaving around the tasers and shooting webs at Shocker.

This time they stick to his chest, getting one of his gauntlets disabled. Yes! Okay I need to find the right angles to- Fuck that hurt. He hit me with one of his shock-waves, sending me flying backwards. I need to focus, not celebrate discoveries. I zip myself back, using new ways to transport myself around.

"Let's not do that again." I say, and then point towards Shocker, trying to show the cops he's the bad guy but they don't get the message.

I move in front of Shocker as the cops shoot these bullet tasers at us, shooting more webs at him. He tears them off, and I move, grabbing rubble with my webs and rounding it up, swinging it at him. It hits him, knocking him over and sending him reeling back into the cops. Shit.

"Oh shit! Sorry!" I swing over, and in mid-air shoot webs at Shocker, webbing him down to the ground. He was stuck, the webbing stronger than most metals. I landed on a cop car, in front of the cops.

"Hey! I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-man!" I waved, only to flip off the car dodging more shots, this time real bullets. Traced bullets.

Okay, they do not like me. "I'm gonna let you guys deal with him!" I say, webbing myself away.

Shots followed, one grazing my neck. Fuckin hell that hurt. I fell to the ground, grabbing my neck, and rolling.

"Are you okay?" Some nearby citizens asked, while others stood around confused.

Ah, fuck I'm bleeding. Police rolled up on the scene, damn fast. Shocker shows up behind them, blasting them up into the air. My spider sense- spider sense? - goes off, and I jump into
the air, extremely high, and web the officers to lower buildings, saving them from their potential end.

"Woah man, that's not cool." I shoot a web at Shocker, diving in for a kick to the face. He grabs my web and shoots me into a building. Fuck me, luckily the building is okay. That really hurt my ass. I shoot webs at Shocker, getting one of his gauntlets and swing it off, before doing some cool shit and flipping over to kick him in the face, before I grab his legs. He falls to the ground, and I
fall onto his face, hitting him hard and I think knocking him out. I couldn't tell, his mask covering his pretty large head.

The cops arrived, and they began arming themselves once more, so I grabbed their guns with my webs and disarm them before they get the chance to shoot.

"Really? I'm on your side ya know!" I shouted out, not getting any agreement from them. My spider-sense goes off again, and I move, dodging out of the way. Shockwave shoots by me, dissolving slowly in the air. I look behind me, Shocker standing back up.

"So, you woke up! Can we talk now instead of fighting?"

"No! Shut up!" He yelled, before grabbing the money and jumping away. I followed, the cops getting in their cars. I swung, hitting him mid-air, sending us both to the ground. He swung, I dodged, my senses in full swing. I moved around, jumping into the air. I pulled him up using my webs and we fought in the air. I swung and he caught it, punching my gut.

I felt my back get thrown into a wall, and my body fall to the ground. My vision clouded, everything dizzy. My mind was fucked. I looked up, and the shocker wasn't there. My dad was. I webbed his face, sliding off the ground and flying at him. I punched him hard, roundhouse kicking him afterwards. He was staggered, so I webbed his chest, sending him stumbling towards me. I threw a hook, knocking his head to the side. I moved him back to me, rage clouding me. I threw another, and another, and another, until he fell to the floor.

I heard sirens and I snapped back to reality. The Shocker lay on the road, unconscious and limp. My back hurt like hell, and so did my fist from hitting him like that. Cops pulled up, aiming their handguns at me.

"Put your hands up!" One of them yelled at me and I ignored them.

I walked backwards, keeping my eyes on the surrounding cops.

I slowly climbed up the wall, "Put your hands up and stop moving or we will open fire!"

"I dare you to."

They listen and open fire and I jump off the building, weaving through the hail of bullets thanks to my spider-sense. It felt like time slowed as I dodged tens to hundreds of bullets before
disarming all of them, creating an intricate web of weapons and throwing them at the ground. They broke on contact with the street and the officers couldn't do anything other than watch
as I swung away.

I need to make my way to the building with my backpack and clothes, my back hurts like hell and my neck might be bleeding.

"All Units, stay on the lookout for a black and orange vigilante…swinging through the city using webs. They helped rob the bank east of the Empire State Building. If you see him, please radio out. Over." The cops spoke on the radar, helping me stay out of their way and know exactly what they were doing. I'm probably a target now from the sound of it, I need to be careful. If I can help more around the neighborhood perhaps, I can get the public to help in my favor. I land on the roof and take my mask off, no visible damage, just a small graze it looks like. I feel my neck, looking at my fingers. A little bit of blood dripped off, I'm not bleeding too horribly but I need to hurry and clean it.

I drop down between both the buildings, landing in the alleyway with stumbling grace, and find my backpack. I put the clothes on over, a nice jacket and jeans. I sling it over my back, wincing at the contact and making my way back to the house.

It was dark when I made it back, and Aunt May was immediately concerned.

"Michael! Are you okay? Where have you been?" She asked as I walked through the front door.

I love this woman but she's a worrywart.

I nod, smiling, "Yes, I'm okay! I'm sorry, I went out to get some extra food to bring here but I was interrupted by that bank robbery! They closed the street and it's New York traffic ya know?"

I made all of that up. Except the bank robbery obviously.

"Oh alright, I understand hon. Come on, I made some food. Wait, what's on your neck?" She continues but I freeze hearing her question.

My hand shoots to my neck, covering it.

"Uh, nothing May." I mumbled stupidly. That's totally going to stop her from being worried. Dumbass.

"Sure. Let me see Michael. I can help." She said reassuringly and I didn't have a choice. This woman saved me, I'm not going to not listen to her.

I move my hand, the gash showing. "It's nothing really. I promise."

"You're bleeding Michael. How did this happen?" She interrogates me, mom mode full on.

Moments later I'm sitting in the kitchen, wincing as she cleans my wound, slapping a bandage on.

"You're lucky it wasn't deep Michael. Be more careful please."

I nod, "Yeah of course. Can I shower before we eat?" I hope she says yes, I need this costume off. No one can find out.

She chuckles, "Of course. You don't have to ask you know." Something I'm not used to. Back at home, not home, that place, it was up to him. He decided everything for us.

I broke my line of thinking, moving out of the chair and up the stairs, heading to my room. The Parker family gave me my own room, privacy, a family. They were everything to me.

I walked to the bathroom with sweats and t-shirt in hand, boxers as well. I closed the door and finally took my coat off, along with the suit. Bruises lined my abdomen; the Shocker got me pretty well.
Turning around, my back looked horrible. It was purple everywhere, a large bruise on my shoulders as well. Fuck me, I'm going to need to ice this. Cold shower it is. I started the water, hiding my costume in my bag. I felt it get colder, and I went in. The cold water thrashed my body, overwhelming my senses. It burned on my back, igniting the pain.
I cleaned myself, taking extra care of my neck, before lightly washing my hair and stepping out.

I dried myself and slipped my clothes on, walking back into my room and throwing the dirty clothes into the hamper. I sat on my bed a moment, pulling out my phone and checking for messages. I had a few, some from Peter and Aunt May asking where I was, and a few news notifications. Apparently, some civilians got footage of me swinging around and fighting the Shocker. I was badass,
some moves making me look fuckin awesome. I clutched my side; I just wished I didn't let him get hits on me. I need to get better. I have a bit of a boxing background, and some resources. I
can get into a gym soon.

My stomach rumbled, making itself well known. I need to eat, I'll look into that later. I get up, walking out of my room back downstairs.

Fresh barbecue pork and green beans with mashed potatoes was waiting at the table, along with May, Ben, and Pete.

I'm a Parker now.
