Two weeks later
After school started back up I met up with Gwen and while I wanted to tell her about me getting powers I didn't because for one her dad was the Police captain and what I was doing was illegal and also I didn't want to get her involved for her safety. Anyway after school I went on patrol after finishing my homework and stopping a few minor crimes, I stopped to get a snack after changing out of my suit and eating. By the time that crime really started showing itself it was already night time and while I was swinging around manhattan I heard an alarm go off and after making it to where the alarm was going off, I saw a figure running across the rooftops I followed them from a distance to figure out where they were going.
While I was following them I saw that it was a woman in a skin tight black latex catsuit with white fur along the arms and around the neck with a deep plunge down the front. I couldn't help but get distracted by her considering the fact that everytime she moved her breast and butt jiggled around like there was no tomorrow, good thing my spider sense seemed to help guide my body while I was distracted.
After a bit more time I saw her enter a high rise apartment on the upper east side and after reaching it and sticking to the outside and sticking to the shadows I saw her put the jewels away in a safe behind a painting and then proceeded to start taking off her suit while making her way to what I presume was the bathroom. After waiting a few minutes to make sure that she wasn't coming back I went to the balcony and entered the apartment and made my way to the painting and opened the safe by applying a bit of pressure to the safe and popped it off the wall and grabbed the jewels and as I was making my way out I heard the shower turn off. Hopping onto the ceiling and sticking to the shadows I saw her walk out of the bathroom with steam following behind her and upon entering the room she saw that the painting was on the floor and the safe was busted ' idiot why didn't you put everything back to the way it was.' I thought to myself as she got into a fighting stance and started looking around for an intruder.
After looking around for a bit she started moving to the nightstand and while her back was turned I started crawling very slowly to the doorway to make it to the balcony. When I made it to the balcony I turned to make sure she hadn't heard or turned around and seen me and as I did
my face was between a pair of breasts that just about covered my head. ' Well, as bad as this looks, at least I can say I finally touched my first pair of boobs, albeit they are a criminals.' I thought to myself as she started talking " Well hello what do we have here. A spider that thinks he can come into my apartment and steal what I already stole mm?" "Well like you said you stole it so I'm just stealing it back to return it to the store you stole from." which came out a little bit muffled as I said it because I was still between her breasts.
After saying that I jumped back and off the balcony and started swinging away from the apartment back to the store. After dropping the jewels back off at the store and leaving a note saying to get better security.
Swinging around after that I looked around and couldn't stop thinking about the thief, when I saw a lady being followed into a alley by at least ten guys and so I followed them and when I got there I saw that the guys were under a trance as if they had been hypnotized or something. Dropping down I walked up to them and waved my hand in front of their face and didn't get a response. Looking over at the woman I saw that she was kissing one of the guys and I saw that he was slowly shriveling up as if the water was being drained or his soul was being sucked out kinda like Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat." Hey lady, You realize that each kiss should be special right. What's that say about you just kissing random people all willy-nilly."
She turned around after she stopped kissing the criminal and I saw that she had slitted eyes like a snake and fangs protruding from her mouth with some blood on them. As I was looking at all of this she walked over and started talking and I could feel a slight pull on my mind making it feel like I wanted listen to everything that she was saying, but then I remembered what Chiron was saying about Aphrodite and her kids and their ability to use a type of mind control called charmspeak, was that what this monster was doing to me? Was she using some form of charmspeak? Trying to remember what type of monsters that had a similar ability in myth I figured it was either a Lamia or a empousa and since I didn't see a pair of mismatched legs I figured I was facing a Lamia.
By the time that I had thought of all of this she was close to me lifting my mask and just when she was about to kiss me I jumped back and threw a dart at her hitting her between the eyes and she stumbled back dazed. Ripping the dart from her face she looked at me with a look of rage and charged me transforming into her monster form. I started jumping around on the walls throwing my darts into her and just when I thought that she wasn't going to die she started to slightly crumble to dust, but was still intact so I jumped down and threw a punched her as hard
as I could in the face exploding her into a bronze dust and just when I thought it was over I sensed all the guys that were under her trance snap out of it. Turning around I saw them stubble around and so I jumped onto the wall hoping that the mist would help take care of it, shifting their perspective into something that would help make sense.
After swinging away from the scene I was thinking about how I wasn't really affected by Lamia's charmspeak. Maybe it had something to do with the fact I'm a son of Aphrodite or maybe there is something about my spider sense that helped me. Making it home and telling May that I would be in the basement I made a call to Chiron. " Peter my dear boy, how are you and why the sudden call?"
" Hey Chiron, I just ran into a Lamia and when I got there I fell under her spell slightly but I broke out of it. I was wondering if that had something to do with me being a son of Aphrodite or if me being a spider totem had something to do with it?"
"A Lamia you say. Well, I have never heard of a child of Aphrodite running into one but it is certainly possible. I can't be sure at all, but if you do run into one again then I would recommend hitting it hard and fast, don't even let it know that you're there in the first place."
"Alright Chiron and I'm going to head over to camp this weekend. I got some ideas floating around in my head that I need Charles help with to build."
" Alright we will see you this friday I presume if you wanted to participate in Capture the flag for the first time."
Sure, I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world."
Middle East, somewhere in the mountains
Two weeks after capture
It's been about two weeks since the humvee attack and being kidnapped and after waking up in this cave with a car battery hooked up to my chest the only thing keeping me alive was being turned into an electromagnet to keep the shrapnel from my heart. I met the guy that had saved my life named Yinsen Ho, a doctor from the town of Gulmira who I met in Bern, Switzerland at the turn of the century. My captors had been kind enough to let me heal, so I wouldn't die from infection and stress.
Two and a half months after capture
After seeing that they had a bunch of my weapons and that they wanted me to make weapons for them. I initially said "no" but after being dunked in water and a wire from my battery touching it resulting in me being electrocuted and drowned at the same time I said "yes". After getting the equipment that I needed I made a mini ARC reactor, so I wasn't hindered by the car battery. In Between all of this every time I fell asleep I had a dream about this woman from long ago who was the most beautiful I had seen and the dream would always change to visions of a teen with blonde hair and blueish-gray eyes that slightly resembled me in the face and build.
Every time I woke up I would take apart the weapons with help of Yinsen and we would build the armor I had planned on making to make it out of here. After a close call with the leader who I learned was called Rasa we sped up making the suit. We had been working overtime to make sure that we finished the suit on time for the escape. We had just started putting the suit on when we heard someone at the door saying something in hungarian.
After the bomb that we set up went off from when the guy opened the door and Yinsen said "I'm gonna go buy you sometime."
When he started running for the gun I was yelling his name and to get back here. But he ran ahead and fired the gun scaring the terrorist off, but after a while I didn't hear the gunfire which shouldn't be possible considering it should echo in the cave all the way to where I am. After that I heard people approaching from the door and just as they were about to enter through the door the start-up finished and drained all the power in the room shutting off the lights.
Moving off of the hooks that held up the armor I moved behind one guy and when he turned around I smacked him into the wall and started moving through the room being hit with bullets from all over. It eventually moved into the cave halls. I eventually made it to a crossroads and went to backhand a guy and got my arm stuck in the wall and while that was happening a guy
came up behind me and fired a shot into the back of the helmet ricocheting off and killing him. After that I made it to a door that was closed and with a guy pounding on it wanting to be let in. I shut him up by slamming him against the door using his body to break the door hinges. After breaking the door and killing the guy and the people on the other side I made it to the main area and saw Yinsen laying between bags of salt/sand. Running over to him he croaked out " look out!" And turning I saw Rasa holding a rocket and leaning to the side I dodged the rocket and popped open a panel on the side and fired a rocket of my own and hit the wall behind him knocking him out.
After that I went to Yinsen and was about to move the bags when he stopped me and said " Don't waste your life Stark, Ok don't waste it." and that this was always the plan. After he died I closed my eyes to mourn him and then moved to the entrance. Exiting the cave I was instantly fired upon and while I felt the bullets hit I didn't move an inch. After they stopped I looked at them and said in a cold, dead tone "My turn." and used the flamethrower that was installed in both arms and torched all of the ones in front of me and the cache of weapons that were littered about. As I moved through the camp I felt a machine gun hit me and a few bullets hit the gears in my legs. After that I decided to leave one last surprise and grabbed a cache of rockets and threw it into the cave to do two things one) To make sure I actually killed Rasa and two) To cremate Yinsens body so they couldn't defile it.
After that I ignited the thrusters in my boots and flew out of the canyon that I was in and headed in a random direction eventually crash landing in a sand dune. After worming my way out of the suit and making my way north judging by the position of the sun. It was nearing night when I heard a helicopter and fell to my knees in joy upon seeing and hearing Rhodeys voice after three months.
Two months before Tony escapes
It was friday and I was making my way to Camp for the weekend and May was driving me asking me all about the camp and if I had made any friends there. After dropping me off she said that she would see me on sunday, making my way to the Big house to let Chiron I was there and saw him talking to a person with red cheeks and purple eyes wearing a leopard print shirt and curly black hair that was slightly greasy. "Ah Peter, I would like for you to meet Mr.D the Camp director."
"Does the D stand for something or did your parents just not like you." I said and saw Chiron's eyes widened before Mr.D looked at me and said " Ah, Aphrodites brat I take it. Look Chiron we got a comedian in our midst."
After he said that he looked me in the eyes and I saw people driven to madness and sailors being turned into dolphins and knew that if I pushed him any farther that he would plant a seed that not even mom would be able to fix. After that he summoned a goblet of wine and before he could take a sip a crack of thunder stopped him and he looked up and said " Oh dear, old habits sorry." and transformed it into a diet coke. After seeing him summon a glass of wine combined with the madness and dolphin visions I realized I was talking to Dionysus, God of Wine and Madness.
"Sorry, I make jokes when I'm nervous M'Lord." I said bowing at least trying to mitigate the damage. "Oh, this one has some decorum more than Jackson at least." He said and after that I looked at Chiron and pointed to the forge and just nodded my apologies to the local god in the room.
Arriving at the forge I saw Charles and went over to him and asked if they had other material beside celestial bronze and regular steel. " Yeah, dad occasionally sends over scraps of metal that have unique properties like this." pulling out a chunk of purplish-black metal and a solid silver chrome chunk the size of my fist. " Are those what I think they are?" I said in disbelief. He nodded his head so for the next few hours we worked on getting the metals soft enough to that we could shape them and after that I took the Chrome metal and made them into the shape of finger claws that retract back into the suit and added a plate into the top of my boots at the tip. After that I took the purplish-black metal and added it into the spider symbol in plates that were segmented so they stretched with my movement making it one of the most durable areas of the suit so that if I got shot there it wouldn't even go through. I also figured out that it could be made into a fabric the same as celestial bronze 'an idea for another time'.' I thought I already had an idea for a new suit eventually, but I did change my mortal billy clubs to use that metal instead of normal metals.
When night came and we were having dinner I sacrificed a portion to my mom and Athena and Hephaestus as my grandparents. After we were done eating Chiron stood up and announced that the teams for capture the flag were Poseidon cabin and Apollo cabin were the holders of the flags and the teams were Athena, Hepheastus, hermes and Dionysus were with Poseidon and Aphrodite, Ares, Demeter were with Apollo cabin.
Walking up to Selina I asked her what our cabin usually did during this and when she heard me say that she just looked at me and said" Usually the rest of the cabin sits it out by the lake
checking their make-up, but with the war coming up at anytime we have been participating more in sword drills and most of them have been using a bow. We have been guarding the flags spread out around the forest near the flag."
Okay so most of my siblings are not completely useless but Selina looks like she could hold her own in a fight judging by the slight burn scar on her leg from what looked like acid I guess.( AN: demigod files: Myrmeke lair story.) I would have to get the story of that later. I figured I could use my spider powers and make my way to the enemy flag and grab it. When we were making our way to the forest I made my way to Lee Fletcher and told him that I would make my way to the flag when we entered the forest.
After entering I broke from the group and stuck to the tops of the trees and made my way over the creek seeing Percy down the way guarding the creek line makes sense son of the sea god and all that cool stuff. After passing him I made my way past all the other campers and heard fighting off in the distance. After a bit I made it to the flag and saw no one around which I thought was unusual considering Annabeth probably made the plan, so I just decided to jump down and spring the obvious trap that was planned so carefully for anyone.
Making it to the flag I felt my Spider sense go off like a gong in my head and everything slowed down and I looked around seeing arrows fly out from all around me. Jumping up high over the ring of arrows I fired webs into the tree line and pulled out the campers that fired them. When the were on the ground I webbed them all to the ground in a thick layer and just when I thought it was over and I was reaching for the flag I felt my spider sense go off again warning me off something behind me. Turning and shooting a mist of web covering somebody invisible. Seeing the outline was female I guessed it was Annabeth and shot a web to her feet and pulled them out from under her and webbed her to the ground.
Grabbing the flag I sprinted to the creek and saw Malcom, Annabeth's brother running there to so I fired a web and threw a billy club at him and blinded him with the web and hit him in the forehead with the club that ricochet off his head and I caught it on the return and leaped across the creek. As soon as I crossed the flag started changing to a bright pink with a white dove on it in the center. Everyone stopped and looked at me and the flag with their jaws hanging open and I heard Chiron say " For the first time since the founding of the camp the Aphrodite cabin holds the flag."
Olympus, sametime as capture the flag Throne room
All the gods were gathered to watch the game and they saw one break from the pact and make for the treeline." Whose kid is that." said Apollo and looked around seeing the similarities between a few of the other gods. "That would be mine Apollo." Aphrodite said much to the surprise of everyone beside Athena and Hephaestus.
"How can that be your child Dite." Said Ares in disbelief, voicing what everyone was thinking. "Well Ares I had a child with that legacy of Hephaestus and Athena and he was also chosen by the Web of Life and Destiny to be the spider of this earth." Zeus looked like he was about to pop a vein just from hearing the lineage and potential of this new demigod, but Aphrodite shut him down before he even had a chance to say anything by giving him a look and released a massive amount of power and said " If your worried about him betraying us then don't worry about it. He mostly sticks to the mortal side of things. He will assist us during the war against Kronos when that happens."
While that was happening the game had ended and everyone tuned back in after they heard Chiron say that the Aphrodite cabin had won for the first time ever.
Back at camp
Everyone was looking at me as if I was an alien, looking at Chiron I asked what to do with the flag and he looked at me and said that it will be kept in the cabin until the next game. So after I put it in the cabin everybody went to the campfire and celebrated the first Aphrodite cabin victory. While that was happening I was walking on the beach when there was a cloud of purple smoke that enveloped me and I was suddenly in a room with a giant web with different spider men in them and a blindfolded woman sitting in a chair.
"Welcome Spider-Man to the Web of Life and Destiny."
Fin
So we see that Peter has met our resident cat burglar and might have developed a bit of a crush? Maybe not. We also see that being a child of Aphrodite saved his life along with his spider sense against a Lamia. We see that Tony escapes the cave while also killing
Rasa (which should have happened in the movie but we needed the villain twist of Obidiah) and meets up with Rhodey. Meanwhile Peter visits camp and discovers that the Hephaestus kids have all the cool metals. He makes a few upgrades to the suit making it easier for him to kill monsters while out on patrol and adding armor in the form of the spider symbol being Vibranium and claws made from Adamantium and a Adamantium toed boot. We also see him win his first game of capture the flag along with making camp history with the first win for aphrodite cabin. We see the gods reaction to seeing Peter in action for the first time and Zeus being a paranoid Bastard until Aphrodite exerts some power ( remember she was born from Ouronos's balls and seafoam, also goddess of love arguably the most powerful deity just doesn't like fighting.) He also meets a certain Madam.( The place Peter goes to in the 90's cartoon.)
Next time, we see Peter meet someone who knows more about the Web of Life and Destiny and can help him learn more about it. We see the consequences of Peter messing with the Big Man of crime with the birth of the Rhino and Peter sees a certain newspaper calling him a menace. He also comes across a certain thief in the middle of a heist.
