CHAPTER 6: Your Dream is...
"HEADS UP!"
We all look up at the sky and see a girl in red start to fall toward us. But as soon as she reach us another blur snatched her up and pushed her towards a tree.
"Did your sister just fall out from the sky?"
POP?
Soon a roar was heard from a distance and a ursa Grimm came out from the forest but as soon as it came out from the clearing it just fell to the ground. And on top of the Grimm was Nora, happy as she could be. Behind the Grimm soon Ren pops out.
Popper turns his head toward Yang and Blake, but as soon as he turns back to Nora she disappeared from his sight.
POP?
Popper then hears Nora behind him singing a song. Confused by this Popper soon realise this girl was way faster than he first thought.
"Nora!"
"Coming Ren. Hi Popper!"
Popper just waves at the girl.
POP!
"Did that girl just ride in on a Ursa?"
Suddenly another noise gets the attention of the group and in came the girl with red hair running from a Giant Deathstalker.
"Ruby?"
"Yang!"
"Nora!"
POP!
"Did she just run all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tail?"
"Grr! I can't take it anymore could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again!" Yang just yells.
Soon Ren joins the group tired from all the running he did.
"Ugh, Yang." Ruby points at the sky.
In the sky, a huge Nevermore is seen flying above the group and if you can see from the tip of its feet you can see a small girl in white.
Popper reaches into his jacket and pulls out some binoculars and sees that the person on the nevermore was Weiss.
"I said jump."
"She's gonna fall."
"She'll be fine."
"She's falling,"
POP!
As Weiss begins to get close to the ground up on a tree Jaune soon jumps off it trying to catch Weiss. Which he succeeded in catching her but soon realized that both would be falling at the same time. Making Jaune fall to the ground first and Weiss landing on top of him.
Soon the girl in red falls next to us, getting hit by the Deathstalker.
"Great the gang is all here. Now we could die together."
Seeing the girl on the ground Popper goes and gives her a hand and try to help her up.
"Oh thank you. I-"
As soon as she sees who is helping her up she backs away from Popper. Standing up she turns.
"Thank you for helping me." She said while her back was turned.
POP!?
"Ruby wait!"
Turning his head Popper sees Ruby rushing the Deathstalker. But as she got close to it the Grimm attacked her sending her back. She gets up and starts to shoot at it but realizes that her bullets weren't damaging it. She starts to run away from it.
"Ruby!"
Yang starts to run in the direction of her sister. But up in the sky, the Nevermore sends some of its feathers at Ruby and traps her with one of them. Soon the Nevermore starts to head toward Ruby. ready to attack her.
"It's gonna attack Ruby and Yang won't make it in time."
Popper took it upon himself to reach into his jacket pulling out...

...
"Popper is that a Pie?"
POP!
Popper nods and took aim at the nevermore.
"You clown how is that going to help? Ah! I help Ruby myself." Soon Weiss started to move toward Ruby hopefully reaching her on time.
While Popper just threw the pie toward the Nevermore.
"Popper how is that going to help? That's just a-" Blake was talking but heard an explosion in the sky.
BOOM!

...
As the dust in the sky clears. The Nevermore starts to fly high up in the sky avoiding the group on the ground. Meanwhile, the group just stares back at Popper and his smiling face.
"Why do you have a Pie that explodes Popper?"
"That was awesome do you have more?"
POP!
With a nod, he shows with his hand how many more he got.
"Why do you have four left?!"
Popper just shrugs not knowing why he needed five pie's but better safe than sorry.
Looking back at Ruby and Weiss who somehow made it in time and was able to save Ruby from the Deathstalker. The Group soon runs to them to see if they are alright.
"Guys that thing's circling back." Jaune starts to warns us at the sight of the Nevermore beginning to fly back towards the group.
"Look there's no sense in dillydallying our objective is right in front of us." Weiss reminds the group what they needed to do. Oppond hearing this Popper now understood what he had to do.
"She's right our mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the cliffs. There's no point in fighting these things."
As Popper heard this he went to the stones to grab one of the artifacts and puts it inside his pants pocket. Looking back he sees both Jaune and Ruby also grabbing one as well. All three look at each other and soon leave towards the cliffs.
As the team continue to run toward the ruins, soon the Nevermore started to fly ahead of them blocking the way they needed to go. From behind the Deathstalker appeared from the forest heading directly toward the group.
"Oh, man Run!" Jaune warned the group.
"Nora distract it." Nora started to head to the center of the clearing getting the attention of the Nevermore. Soon she pulled out her hammer which turn itself into a Grenade launcher sending some explosives toward the Nevermore.
As the Nevermore started to get hit by the explosion. The group starts to move toward the ruins. Getting the opportunity to move forward. Meanwhile, as Nora stopped her barrage of fire, the Deathstalker soon was about to reach her. This took her by surprise but as soon as it got close to her. Three people took it upon themself to protect her.
Ren, Blake, and Popper. Block the Deathstalker from attacking Nora and keeping the Grimm away from the girl. Popper reached into his jacket and pulled out another Pie and threw it at the Grimm causing another explosion, keeping it away from them so they could make their escape.
As they continue to run from the Deathstalker the group soon saw that the Nevermore was beginning to descend towards them. As soon as they made it to a bridge the Nevermore went in for an attack.
As the Nevermore attacked the bridge that the group was on. Destroying it in the progress the group was now split from each other. However one realizes something or someone was missing.
"Where's Popper?"
Up in the sky and holding on for dear life Popper was on top of the Nevermore, holding on to it. The moment the Nevermore attacked Popper had to jump on top of it so it won't eat him. However Popper soon realize that he didn't have a backup plan once he was on top of it so now he was just going for a ride.
With not much he could do. Popper reach into his jacket and tried to find something to injure the Nevermore. He could have used his pies, he could use his Mallet, He can even use his knives. But instead, he pulls out a bottle with some liquid.
Taking a sip from the bottle and holding the liquid in his mouth. Popper reaches into his pants pocket and pulls out a lighter. Unbeknownst to him. The artifact that he had fell off.
As Popper had the lighter in his hand, he turns it on and at that moment Popper turn to the wing of the Nevermore and spitting the liquid in his mouth into the lighter making it look like he was Fire breathing.
As the Nevermore felt its wings getting damaged the Nevermore flip its body in the sky making it so the person on it fell off. With Popper not getting the chance to prepare for this. Popper fell off the Nevermore and began to fall out of the sky.
As Popper fell he saw the Nevermore head directly to the ruins that the group was at and saw it crash into a structure of the ruins. Turning his head he saw Jaune Nora Ren and Redhead fight the Deathstalker.
Reaching into his jacket he pulls out the umbrella and opens it to hover over toward the Deathstalker. Once on top of it Popper pulls out the last remaining Pies and drops them onto the body of the Grimm.
Once they explode he sees the group beginning to attack the Deathstalker and soon Nora gets sent into the air with her Hammer she dives into the Grimm impaling it with the stinger of the Grimm sending it down to the pits of the ruins.
Popper soon lands near the group and waves at them.
POP!
To his surprise, Nora goes to him and gives him a hug.
"We thought the Nevermore ate you. Once we saw you weren't with us. I'm so happy you are alright."
"Nora you might want to let him go." Ren went to calm Nora down but was still happy that his new friend was alright.
"Yea, We are really happy you're alright Popper." Now Jaune chimes in happy that his friend was alright as well.
"Yes... It's a good thing you are alright." Now the girl with red hair said but she wasn't looking at Popper while saying that.
"What's wrong Pyrrha?" Jaune soon questions her.
"Oh, nothing. It's just I'm not too fond of- Oh look the Nevermore."
The group of five turns in the direction of the Nevermore and the other four girls. They saw them work together and were able to defeat the Grimm by removing its head with teamwork.
"Wow." Jaune just said in awe at the work the four girls did.
POP!
As the group meets up with each other they all start to congratulate on the job well done. Soon they start to head in the direction of the pickup and finally be able to leave the forest.
As they continue to walk they soon see the Headmaster and the Lady waiting for them.
"I see you nine have finally made it, congratulation to all eight of you for passing the initiation." The Lady said to the group, almost everyone started to cheer and celebrate their victory, however, four of them were not cheering, in fact, they were confused.
"Um. Ma'am, There are nine of us. And you said only eight of us pass."Ren said with a questionable look.
"That is correct Mister Lie. Only eight of you pass, and One of you has failed the initiation." That got the group to quiet down. They all looked at each other wondering who was the one that fail. The four who were not cheering knew who it was. He was also the one who didn't cheer.
"Mister Wally Fredrick I am sorry but you have failed this year's initiation." The headmaster informs the young man.

...
"Who?"
POP!
Popper step forward and with a sad look, he nodded his head.
"You will be escorted back into Beacon where you can get your belonging and will be taken back to Vale."
"Wait Sir hold on." Ruby soon step forward. "What do you mean he failed, He helped us with the Grimm, and he-"
"He's failed to get a partner and fail to bring back an artifact."
The group turn to Popper seeing that he in fact didn't have a partner and when he reached into his pants pocket and show that it was empty.
"But he-"
POP!
The group turn to Popper and saw that he was beginning to move his hands.
"What is he doing?" Nora asked.
"Sign language." The headmaster and Ren chime in.
"Wait. But Popper can hear us why would he." Yang question.
"It's because he's a mute. Right, Popper." Blake soon realizes why he began to sign at them.
With a simple nod, he smiles at them and continues to sign.
"Ren, what is he saying?"
"He is talking to the headmaster. He is telling him that he has everything he needs on him so he can go back to Vale with no problem."
"Very well mister Fredrick. If you can please follow Miss Goodwitch she will take you back to the Airship." With that, both adults start to head back finishing this year's initiation.

POP!
With a simple clap of his hands, Popper soon turns to his friends. He looks at Ren and signs at him.
"Yes Popper I can understand you perfectly and I will explain to them."
Popper nods at him in a thankful way.
Soon Popper starts to sign.
"He is saying 'Thank you guys for being my friends and sorry for not making it into Beacon. He wishes all of us a wonderful year.'"
"Wait but Popper where will you go?"
"He said back to Mistral. Back home."
"Popper, will we ever see you again?" Nora now asked wondering if they will meet again.
Popper just shrugs wondering if they will ever meet again. Only time will tell.
He then turns to Ruby and Yang and reaches into his jacket. Soon he pulls out paper and begins to fold it. After he finishes he hands them two papers.
One was for Ruby and It was a paper rose. Yang got a paper sunflower.
"Thank you, Popper." "Yea, thanks pop!"
With a simple nod and a wave to everyone, he soon start to turn and walk in the direction of where he needed to go. Getting ready to head back home.
As he turn his face went from a happy smile to a more neutral face.
The airship back to Vale was quiet to say the least, the ship was almost completely empty with the exception of a few failed students that also didn't pass initiation.
Popper was sitting next to a window and saw Beacon from a distance getting far away from him. He miss his chance to make it into Beacon and now he was returning home back to his pops.
He needs to clean himself up.
Standing up he soon heads to the bathroom and locks it.
He soon sees himself in the mirror and begins to remove the face paint from his face. Once it was gone he reached toward his eyes and takes off the brown contacts that he was wearing. Rubbing his eyes he soon sees his reflection and sees his natural Green eyes.
He then sees his hair and decides that he needs to change it again, So he turns on the water and begins to splash some water into his hair. Soon the hair coloring starts to fade and his hair once a light blue color starts to turn back into his natural light peach color.
With that out of the way, the young man soon takes off his multi-color jacket and nicely folds it and reaches into a little pocket, and pulls out a white hoodie. Putting it on he grabs his suit and puts it back into his little pocket.
"Ladies and Gentlemen we have arrived at Vale." The PA system announces to the passengers in the airship.
Turning back into the mirror the young man just looks at himself. Looking completely different just two days ago and is now back to his original look.
Sigh...pop
Time to head home.
The streets of Vale have this weird feeling at night. For some, it feels like at any moment anyone can pop out of nowhere and rob you, But for those who know the streets well or know where to look in them, it was the safest place you can be.
Reaching a door the young man goes and opens the door, not needing a key. This place was just one of many places pops likes to be in. Entering the light is off and soon the young man starts to walk ahead going to the only place where there was light thanks to a window and the shine from the moon.
As he kept walking he sees his father on a scroll talking to someone. Maybe a new employee. The young man soon makes his presence known.
POP!
The man turns and sees who was behind him.
"Johnny your back. Where were you?" His father soon asked.
Johnny starts to sign at him. 'I was out of town for a bit, had something I had to deal with.'
"Were you followed?"
Johhny just looks at him with a 'Are you serious' look.
'No. I learn from you not to get followed.'
"Good. Well, I could have used your help on something a few days ago but no matter. We have a new employee and this one is a big one. I need your help and your sister's help as well."
'Where is she now?'
"At the club. Apparently, it got attacked so she went to go check on it."
Soon the door opens and In came a man in a hood bringing in a wagon.
The father reaches into his jacket and pulls out Lien showing the man, as he takes it the father soon starts to talk.
"Open it."
The man opens a briefcase on top of the wagon and inside a bunch of Dust crystals are shown.
Picking one up the father examines it.
"We're gonna need more men."
As soon as he said that, Johhny knew that his dad was going in for a new job. And all he can think about was. 'Here we go again.'
Sigh...Pop

So you might be wondering what his Semblance is? Well, here you go. It's called 'Ta-da'. Popper can store items in any clothing, no matter how big or small they are. However, it has to be concealed from the eyes of others, so that's why he uses a jacket and pulls things out of it.
