On a Southwest Airlines plane, a young man about twenty-one years old was looking at a graphic novel. He had white hair and brown eyes. He wore an orange flannel, a blue and white T-shirt, grey jeans, and purple running shoes. The young man's name was Lincoln Loud, and he was ready to enjoy a nice vacation. He was supposed to have his longtime friend Clyde with him, but he got sick, so Lincoln was now solo on this trip.
Lincoln felt a pair of eyes staring at him and saw a twelve-year-old boy looking at him from his seat.
"Looking at my book?" said Lincoln
The boy nodded and asked, "What is it?"
"It's the new Atomic Robot graphic novel."
"Cool."
The boy's mother tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Tommy, don't bother people."
"Okay, mom." the boy turned back and sat back in his seat
Lincoln shrugged and looked back at his comic book, thinking about what he should do in Key West.

On the other airplane, Delta Airlines. A Young woman about the age of 23. She has black eyes and a brown ponytail with a dark teal streak down the middle. She wore an aqua blue jacket, a black t-tank top, ripped black jeans, and light boots. Her name was Gwen, a former Total Drama Island contestant seated in first class who was now a full-time artist with a severe artist block for her latest piece.
Her agent thought taking a break and going to Key West to relax would be a good idea. She looked out of the window to see the sea and the beach. She started to remember the first season of Total Drama and instantly wanted to forget about it.
I'm not going down that memory lane, Gwen thought.
She turned back from the window and wondered if anything interesting would happen.
