Chapter 9: Battle with the androids part 1

Gohan and Trunks were slumped against the aisles of the shopping mall, their bodies aching from the blows dealt by the androids, 17 and 18. The shopping mall was a battlefield, and the two young warriors were unknowingly in the middle of a catastrophic battle between the forces of good and evil.

Gohan slowly shook off the pain and slowly rose from the ground. He saw Trunks, his best friend, and pupil,lying next to him and quickly went to his aid. Trunks groggily opened his eyes and looked at Gohan. 'Gohan, how did we get into this mess?'

Gohan smirked and replied in a gruff voice, 'Well we were just in the middle of a fight until we lost,it seems the androids won't stop but we won't stop either so get up and let's put these androids in a scrap pile'

Trunks grumbled and nodded. He slowly rose to his feet and the two of them prepared themselves for the inevitable battle. They both knew what they had to do.

Gohan and Trunks both closed their eyes and seemed to draw on an inner strength. They began to vibrate and the environment changed around them. Suddenly, a brilliant light shot out of both of them and soon enough they had both risen to the level of Super Saiyan.

The androids, taken aback by this sudden shift in power, re-evaluated the situation. 17 thought quickly and ordered 18 to fire her Ki blasts in the mall to create a distraction. 18 obliged and launched them at random locations around the mall. In just a few seconds the store was filled with the roar of fire and the stench of smoke.

The explosion that ensued shook the entire mall and caused people nearby to panic. The damage done to the store was immense. Broken glass littered the shopping mall and debris had been blasted all around. The mall was in ruins and shopkeepers were running out in a panic to safety.

Gohan caught a glimpse of flying debris during the chaos and barely had enough time to raise his hand and guard himself from the shards of glass that were flying towards him. He started to dash away from the fire but was soon met by one of the androids. He was punched across the face, sending him crashing against the wall.

Trunks also had to dodge out of the way of the flying debris, but he was met by android 17. The android pushed him to the ground, and the two of them grappled and wrestled like two beasts. Trunks had to attack his foe in a more structured way than he was used to, and chose to focus on disabling the android instead of outright destroying him.

The fight escalated quickly, and soon the whole mall became a battleground.

Gohan's movements were so fluid and effortless that it seemed as though he was dancing with the androids. He moved around the mall, dodging their blasts and counter attacking them with his own furious energy blasts.

Trunks, on the other hand, was an equally capable fighter. He charged at the Androids, swinging powerful blows with his sword and blocking their energy blasts with his strong aura. The two of them were like a perfect tag team in action.

But the androids were too powerful. Trunks was no match for their strength and speed. Gradually, he began to falter, his attacks becoming weaker and slower.

This was when Gohan lost his temper. He could no longer contain his rising energy and with a loud and powerful yell, he launched a flurry of Ki blasts at the androids.

Gohan's rage was rising, and it seemed as if he might turn any moment. Unfortunately, the androids had already taken out Trunks, rendering him unconscious and making Gohan even more enraged.

The Androids sensed Gohan's growing power and were starting to back away but this made Gohan only more determined to fight. He was ready to face the androids and take them down, no matter what happened.

The clash between Gohan and the androids was now becoming a storm of light and darkness. It was as if time had stopped and this fight could go on forever,but they have to keep going for the sake of it all,their family,their lost loved ones,and those that still live in fear,they must keep fighting.
