[INT. FLAVOR MAGAZINE - DAY]
Khadija is at her desk, typing away. Synclaire and Max enter.
Synclaire: Khadija, you won't believe what we found at the market! (holds up a small bottle) It's the Spanish Fly drink!
Khadija: Perfect timing! I'm writing an article about it. Apparently, it makes you want to sleep with the first person you see, regardless of your orientation.
Max: This could be interesting! (winks)
[INT. KITCHEN - EVENING]
Regine, Khadija, Max, and Synclaire are having dinner. Overton is in the corner fixing the sink.
Overton: (whispering to Kyle, who has just entered) Watch this, I'm going to switch their drinks with the Spanish Fly as a joke. They'll freak out when I tell them!
Kyle: Man, be careful. We don't want this to backfire.
Overton pours the Spanish Fly into the women's drinks. They all cheer and drink.
[INT. LIVING ROOM – LATER]
The girls are giggling and acting a little loopy.
Synclaire: I feel so weird but in a good way!
Max: (looking at Regine) You are stunning!
Regine: (giggling) Oh, stop it! No, don't!
They suddenly feel the urge to kiss and Max pecks Regine on the cheek.
Khadija: Wait, what just happened?!
Overton: (bursting into laughter) Surprise! I switched your drinks with the Spanish Fly!
Max: WHAT?!
Regine: You did WHAT?!
[INT. KITCHEN – CONTINUOUS]
The girls chase Overton and Kyle into the kitchen. They are all laughing and freaking out.
Khadija: This is going to make an even better article!
[INT. FLAVOR MAGAZINE - DAY]
Khadija is typing her article.
Khadija: (voiceover) "The Spanish Fly, a drink that knows no bounds. It even turned a quiet evening into a comedic whirlwind among friends. But a word of caution - pranks can sometimes take a wild turn. Drink responsibly, or better yet, stick to water!"
[INT. LIVING ROOM - EVENING]
Everyone is sitting together, talking about last night.
Synclaire: We learned something about ourselves, didn't we?
Regine: Yeah, that we are crazy even without a crazy drink!
They all laugh.
Max: But seriously, pranks should be harmless and not mess with people's emotions or bodies.
Overton: You're absolutely right. I apologize, ladies.
Khadija: Apology accepted. But Overton, be ready, because payback is a thing.
They all laugh.
FADE OUT.
[INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT]
Overton and Kyle are sitting on the couch, drinking juice that Khadija bought for them as a peace offering.
Overton: (laughing) Man, the looks on their faces last night!
Kyle: Priceless! But I must say, I'm glad no one got really mad.
They both take big sips from their drinks.
Overton: This juice is actually really good!
Kyle: Yeah, I feel... wait, why am I feeling so giggly?
Overton's eyes widen as he realizes.
Overton: Khadija! She got us back!
They start giggling uncontrollably. Overton rushes to close the window.
Kyle: Why are you closing the window?
Overton: Just in case!
They both can't stop laughing. Suddenly, they become very affectionate towards each other.
Kyle: (giggling) Overton, man, I love you, bro!
Overton: I love you too, man!
They hug, then start caressing each other's faces and burst into more laughter. They share a kiss and then start to rush towards the bedroom, giggling like schoolgirls.
Kyle: (giggling) We should have seen this coming!
Overton: This is the best prank ever!
They disappear into the bedroom, still laughing.
FADE OUT.
[INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT]
Khadija, Max, Regine, and Synclaire are peeking from the kitchen.
Synclaire: I can't believe it worked!
Khadija: Lesson learned for everyone. Pranks can be funny but should never cross a line. This one's a truce.
They all laugh and toast to friendship.
