Anna's life was supposed to be stable. That's how she wanted it. That's how she liked it.
Having been through a series of difficulties in her childhood, she had learned to embrace everything that gave her a sense of steadiness.
That is why Seattle, and the routine she had come to establish there, had been her safe haven for a long time. The school, the neighborhood, the library, and the movie nights with her best friend - it was all she needed.
Sure, it wasn't such an exciting life. But it was fine. She was sure she couldn't ask for anything else.
However, it seemed that fate had other plans for her, as her mother's career took a sudden turn.
Now with Anna's mother being the new head doctor at Forks Hospital, she has no choice but to follow her to the town they once wanted to leave in the past.
Resigned to accept a change she never asked for, she immerses herself in the cloudy, rainy place with the sole objective of building back a stable routine that would make her feel safe again.
Of course, she didn't count on the fact that adapting her rhythm of life to Forks would involve such things as motorcycles, cliff jumping and a supernatural world where creatures like vampires and werewolves were real.
Mostly, she would never have imagined it possible to find happiness in the company of not one of them but... Two, three... Yeah, something like that.
