Hello!
So, this is not part of my "Fem!Deku Love Stories" series.
This is just an oneshot, Aizawa-centric, that I came with after re-watching season 6.^^
It's not a long story, but still, hope you enjoy it!^^

The cherry blossoms started blooming.

The air wasn't as cold as before.

Spring has arrived, and with it, graduation has come as well.

Sometimes Aizawa Shouta wondered if he would feel so proud of this classroom, the Class 3-A, if the events with All For One, Shigaraki and the League of Villains hadn't happened.

Every year when Principal Nedzu assigned him to a class, every year when he tested every single student, without a single doubt in his mind, he expelled all of them. Not because he hates the kids, it is the opposite, he likes the kids, but they lack…they lack something that Aizawa can't really explain, and whatever they are lacking, will cost their lives when they leave the peaceful grounds of U.A.

Class B, is the only one who graduates every year from Hero Departments.

But after, how many years has it been? He was not sure anymore. After years, U.A had a Class A graduating. All twenty students.

Shouta was sitting on the stage with other teachers, while Nedzu was on the podium making a speech. Students for all the departments were there, but his left eye could just focus on his problem children.

For once his children were quiet, hearing what the U.A Principal had to say. The last years had been difficult for every hero and heroes in training.

When Aizawa first encountered his class, a rowdy and undisciplined group, he had wanted to expel them all on the spot. But well…school rules, he can't really expel teenegers just because they are being teenegers. In the end, he tested them. Whatever was the result, he could just tell Nedzu that his class didn't have what it takes to be a hero, and his classroom would be empty again.

Midoriya Izuku wrecked his plans…and a finger, and Bakugou Katsuki almost wrecked his class. He dubbed those two Problem Child 1, and Problem Child 2.

But, after years of being a teacher, Shouta saw something in those green eyes, something that made him change his plans. He played the whole "I will expel you guys" as a joke, and decided to keep an eye on this new Class 1-A a little bit longer. Maybe these kids had what the other ones were missing, so days turned in weeks, and weeks in months.

Every time that a new problem arose, his class was the target. Can't a teacher have a break too?

But he saw them overcoming each problem, he saw them making mistakes, he unfortunately had to see them shading blood and tears, he saw them fight battles that just adults should be taking, he saw them protecting each other, he saw those children recognizing their weakness and strengths.

Shouta saw them growing up.

When Shigaraki almost killed him after the ambush at the hospital, his only wish was to see his classroom, his kids, graduating from U.A, stupid smiles on their faces while they started to take new steps in the world.

People started clapping, but Shouta was still looking at Class 3-A, or the ex Class 3-A. All of his problem children had diplomas now.

His wish was granted.

Aizawa Shouta was really proud.

Usually the students would go search for their families after the graduation ceremony to take photos and talk, but of course his students had to be different. Asui, Kirishima and Uraraka came to him as soon as he left the stage, and started pulling him back to the main building, to their classroom.

Everyone was sitting at their tables when they entered the room. Kirishima and Uraraka went straight to their places, Asui followed suit as soon as she left him standing alone behind his own table.

Iida stood up.

"Stand up!" He commanded, and all the students rose to their feet. "Bow!"

Shouta left eye twitched, when all his problem children bent their backs, arms glued at their sides, as they said like a chorus:

"Thank you, Aizawa-sensei!"

One by one, the kids raised their heads, some of them with tears running down, but all of them were smiling at him.

"Aizawa-sensei!"

Shouta turned his attention to Midoriya Izuku, his Problem Child number 1.

"Sensei! Thank you for giving us a chance!" He started, green eyes sparkling. "Thank you for raising us, for looking out for us! Thank you for being our teacher!"

Midoriya made a pause, no one said a word, so he continued.

"Thank you for being here today, at our graduation!"

Aizawa could count on one hand the number of times he had cried in his life. He had thought that shedding tears for Shirakumo would be the last, but he was mistaken.

With his right hand, he tried to cover his face, but he could hear his students gathering around him, crying. Some were even bold enough to embrace him. Aizawa didn't mind.

Honestly? He was happy.

Happy to be there.

Happy to be alive.

Happy to have each and every one of his students before him.

A few minutes later he dismissed them.

One by one, they started leaving, laughing again, even though their eyes were red and puffy.

The girls waved him goodbye, the boys gave him the thumbs up.

Todoroki and Iida bowed one last time.

The last ones in the classroom were Problem Child One and Problem Child Two.

"Aizawa-sensei."

"Sensei."

They bowed again.

"Thank you!" They said together.

A soft smile appeared on Aizawa's lips as he patted Midoriya and Bakugou on the head. For once, he didn't need to use his capture weapon against those two.

"Don't get into too much trouble."

Midoriya laughed. Bakugou frowned.

They left the classroom, bickering about something, and Aizawa couldn't help but notice their joined hands as they disappeared around a corner. Well, he had seen that coming anyway.

He looked at the windows.

The cherry blossoms started blooming.

The air wasn't as cold as before.

Spring has arrived, and with it, graduation has come as well.

"Thank you for being here today, at our graduation!"

A smile formed on Aizawa's face as he whispered to no one in particular, "Where else would I be? You are my problem children, after all."

I don't know if I could pass an ounce of Aizawa's feelings for his students, but I really hope that you enjoyed a little bit.^^
Thank you for reading!

See you!
