Foreword: Vegeta just got verbally torn in to, now it's time for him to get physically torn in to. Let's get the show started
Bansuri was fairly sure that the Saiyan was about to speak up again but didn't care, instead opting to cast a spell with a quick flick of his wrist then charging in to begin attacking the short Saiyan.
'What the hell!? What's going on with my vision? Why do I feel like I'm drunk and dizzy all at once!?' Vegeta questioned in his mind, having to contend with not only the fighters laying into him but also his own body acting in a peculiar and detrimental way.
Bansuri quickly noticed that due to his foe being more than twice his strength, his own strikes were not dealing as much damage as he would like, steadily shifting into a more supportive role in the battle with Goku taking the lead with a red aura flashing up from time to time and Goku's power doubling during said flashes, allowing Goku to deal heavy hits to the invading Saiyan.
Not that Bansuri was without means to do similar levels of damage and pain, the Namekian using not only compressed ki blasts to take potshots at the Widow Peaked warrior but also using a ki blade to leave painful cuts and lacerations on the Saiyan, making their movement painful and hampered. But there was one concern that Bansuri had.
'That tail...Given what father learned from listening to Raditz, that tail either gives a passive strength boost or it could lead to an active one under a certain condition. Either way it needs to be cut off...I just need one good moment" Bansuri thought as he and Goku faced Vegeta, a prospect that was still very difficult despite the spell hampering his balance and numbers advantage. Bansuri was considering his options when he heard something moving rather quickly through the air.
*WOOOOSH!*
*THWACK!*
"Son of a-!"
There! Bansuri launched forward as the Saiyan turned to look at what hit him, a ki blade already extended past his fingers as he slashed down the right side of the Saiyans back, leaving a vicious cut leading down from below his right shoulder, down his hip and most importantly through the Saiyan's tail.
"AAAHHHH!" Vegeta shouted in pain, whipping around to blast the green menace and only managing to get their left arm due to them dodging and backing off. Vegeta then desided to try his luck blasting the brat on the cloud that hit him with a stick.
"GOHAN! NOOO!" Goku tried punching Vegeta to throw off their aim but wasn't able to, only getting a gut punch for his troubles and seeing the blast fly at his son, Gohan disappearing off Nimbus... and seeing Bansuri backing off Vegeta with Gohan in his remaining hand.
"Keep focus on the fight! I'll get the kid out of the way and come back!" Bansuri ordered, running off toward where he knew Krillin was. Goku quickly getting the point of Bansuri's move and powering up to Kaioken x3 to face Vegeta.
Bansuri ran to where Krillin was pretending to be dead, putting Gohan on his feet and addressing the kid.
"You were very helpful back there, however if I hadn't gotten you out of the firing line you would have died. What you did wasn't bad, it was how you did it that was. If you wish to fight, I recommend getting proper instruction and combat training, perhaps from Roshi. He has the experiance" Bansuri spoke to Gohan, getting studious nods from the young half-saiyan.
"Chi-chi'll be so mad if her kid became a perv'" Krillin spoke up, wincing at the broken ribs and possible internal damage he got when Vegeta kicked him like a soccer ball before Goku and Bansuri arrived.
"If Roshi knows Chi-chi, he'll try not to corrupt him" Bansuri answered Krillin, kneeling down and using his remaining hand to heal the human, getting an appreciative look from the bald human.
"Thanks, want me to get Gohan out of here?" Krillin asked getting a nod from Bansuri.
"Yes please" Bansuri said respectfully before Gohan grabbed his attention.
"Ki blast coming!" Gohan cried out, prompting Bansuri to whip around and see the energy ball in the air, firing a blast of his own to try and disperse it when he realized his own blast was being absorbed by the ball and that it wasn't pushing forward. Bansuri stopped firing his Masenko and saw that the ball simply floated their.
'It's not bright enough to blind and it isn't advancing to do damage' Bansuri analysed the blast and saw Vegeta smirking at him before Goku continued the fight. Bansuri was trying to parce the meaning of the smug look when he heard a tearing noise and felt Gohan's power skyrocket. Krillin gasped as Bansuri turned around to see Gohan rapidly growing bigger and more hairy.
"The tail!" Bansuri exclaimed, a ki blade forming on 2 of his finger as he dashed forward to cut off the named appendage when a roar from Gohan sent him and Krillin back from the shockwave, the boy becoming a Great Ape.
"Goku! Keep focusing on your fight! We'll tend to your son! Krillin! I can't make my ki blade large enough to cut the tail off in one go, I'll distract him, you cut the tail!" Bansuri ordered, getting affirmative nods from the called out fighters as they set about their respective tasks, Goku's task made more difficult by not only facing a stronger foe by himself but also the fact that Bansuri's spell had run out due to it not being refreshed when it ran out.
"I don't suppose there's some control you can take over that form, is there Gohan?" Bansuri asked the Great Ape, only for the beast to swing a fist at him, forcing him to dodge and keep the beast's attention on him, with Krillin charging a disc of energy over his head and trying to find a good angle to throw it to remove the tail without hurting Gohan.
The fight between the Saiyans had been a painful back and forth, the strikes that Goku took from being distracted or dropping his guard making the use of Kaioken a painful ordeal while the cuts and harsh kii burns that Vegeta took from the Namekian hampered Vegeta's strength and speed and made Goku's hits hurt way more than normal.
'That's it! I'm blowing up this damn planet!' Vegeta thought and took the oppertunity to fly into the air and charge up his Galick Gun.
"I've had it! You and this planet are dust!" Vegeta called out, making Goku realize that he had better start charging a blast of his own, the Kamehameha flashing to life in his hands as his body glowed a bright red from Kaioken x3.
Bansuri had been leading the Great Ape Gohan to an area with plenty of standing points for Krillin and throwing weak ki blasts to annoy the beast when the clash of energy blasts shook the planet and lit up the sky, grabbing the Great Ape's attention at the perfect moment.
"Destructo Disc!" Krillin said, launching it at just the right angle to sever the giant monkey tail, getting a roar of pain from the beast before it started shrinking down and losing hair, eventually leaving a naked Gohan on the ground in time for Goku's power to multiply by 4 times and for the Kamehameha wave to overcome the Galick Gun and send the Saiyan invader skyward.
"YES! Goku won!" Krillin cheered, jumping for joy as Bansuri finally got around to regrowing his arm, getting a grossed out look from the human.
"Think you can get the kid home? I'll tend to Goku." Bansuri asked and stated, getting a nod followed by Krillin trying to carry the naked kid without being awkward. Bansuri simply beamed a set of clothes similar to Goku's on to the boy and solved the issue before flying away to where Goku lay, his muscles torn from pushing his power too high. Bansuri simply landed beside the twitching and wincing Saiyan and started healing him, Goku relaxing from the injuries fading away.
"Thanks for the help Bansuri" Goku brightly said, immediately hopping to his feet after feeling his was completely healed and contrasting Vegeta as he fell to the ground in a burned, cut up heap. Bansuri stood up and proceeded to walk over to the injured Saiyan who was calling his pod via a device on his arm.
"You know the agony that you're feeling at this very moment? You earned it" Bansuri said stopping a foot away from the fallen prince and looking down at him.
"You going to kill me Namek?" Vegeta asked defiantly only to be shocked by the answer.
"No. If I killed you, all the pain you're feeling fades with your life. I'm not feeling that merciful." Bansuri elaborated, a chill running down Vegeta's spine from the spiteful answer.
"And besides, you seem stupid enough to wish for Immortality if you had the chance. This? This is a reminder that any blessing becomes a curse if you're malicious and powerful enough" Bansuri continued, a vision of Frieza tormenting him and not being able to die to be free of it filling Vegeta's mind as his pod touched down 15 feet behind him.
"No matter what you wish for, if it's selfish you'll pay for it. Maybe you should be happy with what you have instead clawing at everything else" Bansuri advised, getting a surprised look from both Saiyans present for the wisdom just spoken. The Saiyan pod opens and waits for the Saiyan to climb in.
"Also, no matter how comfortable that seat is, the cut I made on your back is gonna make sitting hurt like hell. I imagine you have a LONG trip ahead of you" Bansuri added, making Goku snicker and Vegeta balk at his own custom made pod seat. Vegeta crawled into the pod and found that Bansuri was definitely correct, this trip was not going to be fun. Vegeta gave a scornful look to the fighters that beat him (Bansuri showing Vegeta the middle finger in response) and launching away, leaving the 2 fighters alone in the wasteland.
"...Sooooo how're gonna-" "Namek" "Huh?" Goku began and was interuppted by Bansuri, a confused noise coming from Goku at Bansuri's answer.
"If there's a planet with people like my father and I, then it makes sense that they would have Dragon Balls like us as well." Bansuri explained, a look of understanding forming on Goku's face.
"That makes sense! I think Bulma could make a ship to get us there too!" Goku announced, getting Bansuri to stop and think who that was before simply letting Goku take the lead with it since he knew more.
"Do you think the Saiyan pod that's left in the city ruins could be of use to her?" Bansuri asked getting an enthusiastic nod from Goku.
"Yeah! Let's get it on go to Bulma's place! I'll lead you there!" Goku burst out, charging to the remains of the city to look for the pod with Bansuri following after.
After Bansuri found the pod and picked it up, Goku led the way to Capsule Corp and pressed the doorbell, Bulma opening the door and seeing Goku with a pod carrying Bansuri looking shocked at the latter before Goku explained the situation and requested something interesting for the ship.
"Do you think you can make a training room you can change the gravity in?" Goku asked getting a thoughtful look from Bulma.
"I guess so, the problem is we have no idea where Namek is" Bulma complained.
"I know something that could be helpful in that regard" the voice of Popo floating down from above, the genie sitting on a flying carpet.
Popo provides Kami's old ship to help with the finding the location of Namek and as additional parts for a new space ship that will feature a gravity room. With the technical issue out of the way, Goku and Bansuri flew to Goku's house to discuss travel plans.
