To Start Anew
I had thought my end was here. Once I felt the quick sting of death on my neck, I had thought I would finally be at peace. The Titans would be no more, Eldians can finally live free without the worries of prejudice, and lastly the remainder of my friends can live peacefully and live the long lives they deserve.
However, when I woke up, my heart erupted in rage. The familiar glowing tree was there, along with the Founder, Ymir.
"Just let me be at peace." I seethed, clenching my hands into fists, wanting to rock that little girl for everything she put me through.
"You will." She uttered, talking for the first time since I've met her. "But there's another way."
She pointed towards the glowing tree, and my focus shifted. What did she mean? I know I'm dead, how could there be another way?
"I can offer you another chance at life, but only if you wish it so." She stated cripticaly.
"I want to see my friends." I wished, hoping to see them once more. But Ymir shook her head.
"That is something I cannot do," she told me, looking me in the eye, "Your death was to signal the end of the titans, to bring you back would only prolong the misery to your loved ones."
In grief, my eyes burned with the tell tale signs of tears. I dropped to my knees, pounding the pale sand beneath me in a tantrum.
"After everything I did, what was the point?!" I screamed, my tears falling, "I just wanted to live freely! With my friends! But now it's all gone!"
I heard her foot crunch on sand, walking towards me. She placed her small hand on my shoulder, consoleding.
"It's not too late to start anew." She told me, comforting me like my mother once did, "A world without titans, a place where freedom is attainable, I can give you that, but only if you wish. After all the strife I've given you, I can at least grant you that."
Sniffing, I looked up, and her calm posture guaranteed her word. I rubbed the remaining tears from my face, and wordlessly I agreed to her proposal.
"Go," she lifted me up, turning to the glowing tree once more, "That will be your ticket out of here."
With a light push, she ushered me to the tree, before stopping behind me. I turned to look at her, wondering if I should really go. But her gentle smile told me everything. when I turned away, I sprinted towards the exit, without any sign of stopping.
Once I felt the cold embrace of the tree envelope me, my world turned white then quickly dark.
The next thing I knew when I opened my eyes was the grim sky and the haunting familiar sounds of gunfire and dying men.
Where the hell did Ymir send me?

In light of Attack On Titan almost being done in the anime, I wanted to take a quick look at this story. It's probably generic, and maybe trite, but I thought Eren's story would do a lot of good in the world of Marvel, especially since she has to come to grips with her actions and learn to forgive herself.
Let me know if y'all are excited for this story!
