Padme's parents and her siblings sat in their home angry about her death and the rise of the empire. Padme suddenly appeared in the room in front of them. "PADME! We thought you were dead!" Ruwee shouted. "I am dead. Palpatine killed me. I am an angel and that is why I am here. "Padme explained.
"What happened to Anakin? "Jobal her mother asked. Padme sat down. "It was Palpatine. He manipulated Anakin into becoming his puppet. After I told him I was pregnant Palpatine put visions in his head of me dying in childbirth and then told Anakin if he joined him that they could learn the power to save me. It was a lie and now Anakin is under Palpatine's control and imprisoned by Darth Vader. I entered his mind and saw him trapped by Vader. "Padme explained. "The Sith are dangerous Padme. "Ruwee warned. "They can't hurt me or kill me, nor can I kill them, yet I can get rough with them. "Padme said.
"What about your child? What happened to it? 'Jobal asked. "You mean them. I had twins and they were hidden to keep them safe from the Sith. "Padme explained. "What can you do as an angel?" Jobal asked. "Well, I can mind trick anyone, force push almost everything, travel instantly to anywhere in the universe or fly through it and heal people. "Padme explained. "That is interesting Padme. "Ruwee replied. "You were buried in the tomb of Queen Amidala. Maybe your body isn't there anymore. "Ruwee explained. "It is just an empty shell now. Nice dress you put on me. "Padme said as she suddenly appeared wearing her funeral dress and the necklace Anakin gave her. "Wow you can change clothes fast. "Jubal said. "I must leave. "Padme said. Ruwee put his arms around his daughter to hug her. He let go and Padme disappeared.
Obi Wan was sitting in his cave sad and depressed over everything he lost. Padme appeared in front of him. "Padme where did you come from? Did you somehow become one with the force? "Obiwan asked. "I am an angel and I have always been one. I only found out after I died. "Padme explained. "It's my fault Anakin fell. I failed you and Anakin. "Obiwan sobbed. "You hurt Anakin and me very badly, yet he choose to fall on his own. If you had been in Palpatine's office, you might have been able to stop it. Do you want me to tell exactly how he fell to the darkside? "Padme asked. "The day after he found out I was pregnant with Luke and Leia he started having visions of me dying in childbirth. The next day he told Yoda about the visions saying someone close to him was dying in them and he said to sever this selfish attachment or fall to the darkside he would. Since when is a marriage a selfish attachment? "Padme asked. "Don't you get it? He was tricked into falling by Palpatine who wanted him to be his puppet. Because of your stupid no attachment rule he wouldn't go to the jedi council for help while there were five other council members married at that time. It was okay for them but why not Anakin? "Padme asked. "I'm sorry I tried to train Anakin to the code. I didn't know any better. I didn't even know you were married. "Obiwan sobbed. "It was obvious you. That's why Anakin spent so much time with me. We needed more time together. One or the other of us was always on a mission. Then the Clovis fight and I regret what I said to Anakin then. I hurt him badly. "Padme groaned. "When I fell of the gunship on Geonosis you didn't even care how I felt about it and it cost Anakin his right arm. If Padme were here, she would do her duty? You know I would have jumped off after Anakin. You knew it then. You even went along with the council to deny Anakin the rank of Master. You guys played games with his sanity over politics. How sad. "Padme sobbed. "He hadn't earned it yet. Palpatine's politics had nothing to do with it. "Obiwan shouted.
Padme sat down across from Obiwan. "When I was lying there on Geonosis all I could think about was Anakin going up against that Sith monster Dooku. When he lost his arm, I was horrified it was because of you rushing head long in that battle. We wanted to settle down and raise the child. We wanted to be together. Were we going to be? "Padme cried.
"I am sorry I wasn't there when Anakin needed me the most. We didn't know Palpatine was a Sith Lord until the very end. "Obiwan sobbed. "I wonder what Satine would think of how you treated Anakin?" Padme asked. "What would you know of Satine? "Obiwan asked. "I met her in the afterlife. She is an angel like me who was sent to help you and you turned your back on her. She cries all the time about how you let her down. "Padme explained. "Can't you talk her into meeting with me? "ObiWan asked. "I don't know if she will ever forgive you. If you train my children like their father, then I will push you away from them. "Padme warned. "The code has changed. Attachments are allowed now. "Obiwan explained.
'Satine and I are the most heartbroken angels ever. You never thought angels could be heartbroken guess again. "Padme said and then disappeared.
Yoda sat in his hut on Dagobah when Padme appeared. "Padme sorry I am for Anakin. Not surprised to see you. "Yoda said. "Your no fun. Anakin needed love and you refused to give it to him. "Padme groaned. "Knew you were an angel I did. Learned about the prophecy of the angel I did. "Yoda explained. "You just now learned that? "Padme asked. "Learned after failing to defeat Palpatine I did. "Yoda said sadly. 'I am that angel and there was another sent to help the chosen one's master Obiwan. "Padme explained. "Satine. The woman Obiwan turned his back on. We both failed "Padme sobbed. "No fail you didn't. Failed them both the jedi did. "Yoda answered. "Anakin had visions of me dying in childbirth that were created by Darth Sidious who told him that his master Darth Plaqueis could keep the ones he loved from dying and they could learn that power if Anakin joined Darth Sidious. That is why he fell. 'Padme explained. "Prophecy of the angel is as follows. A loving angel will appear and guide the chosen one to their destiny. "Yoda explained. "I led him to the darkside. "Padme cried. "No, led himself to the darkside Anakin did. "I am a lonely and immortal angel. I don't want to spend eternity like this "Padme sobbed. "Die Anakin will and lonely you will not be. "Yoda replied. "Not very reassuring. "Padme said. 'My help you do not need. Go save your family. "Yoda said. Padme disappeared.
Years latter Leia was kidnapped from Alderaan requiring Obiwan Kenobi to go and rescue her. Obiwan was reluctant to go, and Padme tried to convince him to save her daughter. "You can't leave Leia in the hands of those monsters. "Padme said. "I need to get something first. "Obiwan said as he headed into the desert. He dug up a box containing two lightsabers. He removed his lightsaber and left Anakin's inside. Then he left to save Leia. Obiwan was fighting Darth Vader when Vader pushed him back and down. He turned to Padme. "Help me Padme. "Obiwan cried. "What would Satine do if she were in his place? She would do her duty. "Padme said and disappeared.
Obiwan fought on and pushed Vader back and sliced off part of his mask. He was ready to deliver the killing blow when he saw Anakin's eye crying. "Anakin I am sorry. I wanted you to be happy. "Obiwan said. Padme reappeared. "Padme help me!" Anakin cried out. "Anakin! "Padme floated towards and reached out to him when his eye closed and opened revealing a yellow hate filled eye.
"Vader you slime! "Padme shouted as she backed away. Obiwan grabbed Leia and ran to a waiting ship. They took off and headed to Alderaan. "Now do you believe me Obiwan? Anakin is still in there. "Padme sobbed. "Yes, I saw him. I take it he didn't want any of this bad stuff to happen. "Obiwan replied. They returned Leia to Alderaan.
