Disclaimer: This as well maybe a possible a new story or just a short story depending on if I run out of ideas or lose interest; Let's see which 1 comes 1st. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the story.

Awaking Up

Date: May 16, 2014, Destiny ship time: 12:00 P.M.

As the Destiny has finally crossed the massive void between the galaxies it has been for the last week been scanning with its long-range sensors the new galaxy of any nearby stars to refuel from the journey between the galaxies. Finally, after a week of scanning for star to refuel Destiny has found a massive yellow star with 3 planets; However, after constantly scanning the star system Destiny have found something orbiting the 2nd planet. After coming closer to the 2nd planet Density scanners got a more detailed scans of the object orbiting the planet; Destiny saw from its scanners that the object orbiting the 2nd planet was a very old seed ship. After several attempts to contact the seed ships A.I. on what happen Destiny has come to the conclusion that that the seed ship was dead in space; After scanning with its sensors Destiny saw from its scans of the dead seed ship it came to the conclusion that it had suffered critical damage to its power systems from 2 of its very old power regulators given out cause a massive power overload causing a massive explosion; Destiny saw from its sensors that the explosion took out a sizable chuck of the ship causing a ship wide power fail to where it's automatic repair/construction systems couldn't rebuilt.

Fortunately, Destiny was able to see on its scanners that the dead seed ship was still in a relatively stable orbit around the 2nd planet keeping it from falling from orbit of the 2nd planet. After seen from its long-range sensors that the seed ship was dead in space and just a wreck Destiny decided to head towards the star systems main star for refueling that it desperately needed since it is basically running on fumes; As Destiny came into the star and begin the refueling process that lasted for over 10 minutes with the shield refueling its main power supply to 40%; However towards the latter half of the refueling process an incident happen with 1 of Destiny's own engine power regulators from very old age failed and exploded; However before the engine power regulator exploded Destiny's A.I. was able to contain the explosion and reduce the size of the explosion by diverting a moderate amount of power from it; As well by diverting a moderate amount of power away from its engine power regulators its main engine systems were left undamaged. However, with the loss of the of 1 of 8 of its power regulators Destiny main power has reduced to 30%.

As well with the loss of some of its main power in the explosion Destiny's outer ship hull structural integrity was moderately intact around the area to not cause massive ship main outer hull structural integrity; However, the internal structural integrity was a different story; Destiny saw from its internal scanners that the explosion has destroyed 5, 3 heavily, 2 moderately and 1 minimal surrounding compartment damaged; Both the 5 destroyed, 3 heavily, 2 moderately compartments within the area of the outer ship hull were pierced causing the area of were the damaged or destroyed compartments were venting atmosphere into outer space; Thankfully Destiny was able to modify its shields to stop the majority of the atmosphere to vent out; As well activating the emergency hatches to close off the damaged or destroyed compartment areas.

After managing the crisis aboard, itself it set course to the seed ship to see if it and its crew could possibly salvage the dead seed ship from materials; After roughly 30 seconds of travelling towards the seed ship Destiny activates it's automatic dock procedures and tried to dock with the dead seed ship; However while trying to dock with the dead seed ship Destiny was from its outer sensors that due to the critical damage done to the seed ship that it was hard to get a proper air tie seal to the dead seed ship; However finally after 12 failed attempts of trying it was finally able to get a proper air tie seal to the dead seed ship; Now with the dead seed ship secured and with being refueled enough to keep its life, hydraulic and propulsion system relatively operational it's time to begin to the awake the crew.

Location: Stasis Room: 7, Time: 12:25 P.M.

On each of the stasis room pods control consoles was process bar of the revival process* in various stages of revival. On 1 of the revival progress bar in ancient was Nicholas Rush. "Revival progress completed, Wake up process complete opening stasis pod door."

Dr. Rush let out a sleepy groan and begin to move around in the pod. Dr. Rush in a calm, curious, moderately pain and very exhausted tone, Dr. Rush "Ah my head what time is it?(After he said that he could feel his sore muscles move as he placed his right hand on his right side of his face. He then was able to clear in his head and was able to collect his thoughts.) Wait a minute I'm awake, which means we made it.(After he said that he took a quick look around the stasis pod room and saw Eli Wallace inside the broken stasis pod that he was trying to fix while Destiny began its 3-year journey. He came to the conclusion that Eli was able to repair the stasis pod and joined them in stasis for the 3-year journey. Rush through to himself "Well Eli you made with us." After seeing Eli made it with them Rush turned his attention to the stasis pod holding Colonel Everett Young opening its door and saw he begin to move around in his stasis pod; As Colonel Young was awaking up Dr. Rush got out of his stasis pod and began to make his way to Colonel Young.) Colonel Young you alright?"

Colonel Everett Young in a calm, moderately pain and very exhausted tone, Colonel Young "Well besides my head pounding in Pain I'll live; As well with my muscles being sore; Anyway Rush I take it that since both you and I have wake up that we have made it across the massive void between the galaxies."

Dr. Rush in calm and somewhat nervous tone, Dr. Rush "It would appear so Colonel Young; However, it feels like the air is moderately thin; I myself I having trouble breathing to degree forcing me to take controlled breaths. If I had to guest Colonel Young is that either the CO2 scrubbers on the ship have once again and need to be replaced right away or the scrubber fillers need to be changed on them after a long journey; Or in waste case during the trip between galaxies that Destiny might have suffered damage from either some battle damage we missed to repair or from again old age taking its toll on the ship from the long journey causing a system to fail and possible explode causing damage; Along with the possible new damage it may have caused a moderate amount air to vent out before the ship was to modify its shields to stop the majority of the atmosphere to vent out; As well activating any emergency hatches to close off the damaged or destroyed compartment areas."

As they were talking both Colonel Young and Dr. Rush saw the stasis pods that holding both Eli and Matthew Scott opening their doors and saw them begin to move around in their stasis pods; As both Eli and Matthew were awaking up both Colonel Young and Dr. Rush turned their attention towards them with Colonel Young going to Lt. Scott and Rush going to Eli. Colonel Young to Lt. Scott in a calm and somewhat concerned tone, Colonel Young "Lt. Scott are you alright?"

Lt. Scott in a calm, moderately pain and very exhausted tone, Lt. Scott "Well besides my head feeling like it has a nail hammered into it I'll live; As well with my muscles being sore as hell."

Colonel Young let slip a small smile in amusement and in a calm and somewhat amused tone, Colonel Young "Ah... ah...ah... I know the feeling Lt. Scott. The pain with pass after a few minutes. Tell me Lt. Scott do you think your able to perform your duties?"

Lt. Scott in a calm but still tried tone, Lt. Scott "I think so Colonel."

Colonel Young in a calm and satisfied tone, Colonel Young "Very well Lt. I need you to go to the other stasis rooms to see if all the crew made it through our journey. If all of them have made it through, please tell them to head toward the Gate room for a meeting."

Lt. Scott in a calm tone, Lt. Scott "Right away, sir."

Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Thank you, Lt.(After finished talking to Lt. Scott Colonel Young saw the expeditions medical officer: Lt. Tamara Johansen came out her stasis pod.) Lt. Johansen are you alright?"

Lt. Johansen in a calm, somewhat pain and exhausted tone, Lt. Johansen "Well besides my head feeling like it has been hit by a baseball bat I'll live; As well with my muscles being sore."

Again, Colonel Young let slip a small smile in amusement and in a calm and somewhat amused tone, Colonel Young "Ah... ah...ah... I know the feeling Lt. Johansen. The pain with pass after a few minutes. Tell me Lt. Johansen do you think your able to perform your action duties?"

Lt. Johansen in a calm but still tried tone, Lt. Johansen "I think so Colonel."

Colonel Young in a calm and satisfied tone, Colonel Young "Very well Lt. I need you join Lt. Scott in the other stasis rooms to see if all the crew made it through our journey and do a very quick on the spot physical; If all of them have made it through relatively unharmed, please tell them to head toward the Gate room for a meeting. After you done doing on the spot physicals can you head to your medical infirmary to check which medics have gone bad and need replaced; As well to get ready your infirmary if any of the crew come in with either minor, Major or life-threatening injuries."

Lt. Johansen in a calm tone, Lt. Johansen "Yes, sir."

Colonel Young "Thank you Lt.(After he said that he turned his attention back to Rush and Eli and in a calm and concerned tone.) Rush and Eil I need you guys to head to the ships control interface room to see how much power the ship has available to use; As well to see if your theory Rush if Destiny has indeed suffered damage from the 3-year journey we just finished; As well to see how bad the damage is; As well to see what and where Destiny has jumped out of FTL and to see if their is anything close to us."

Dr. Rush in a calm tone, "Very well Colonel Young."

Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Thank you, Rush; If you need me or find anything important on Destiny's internal and external sensors contact me; I'll be in the Gate room with everyone else to get everyone update and to see what to do next."

Before Dr. Rush could answer Eli beat him to it and in a calm and concerned tone, Eli Wallace "Right away Colonel. Come on Rush we better getting going to see where we are."

Dr. Rush in a calm and a little annoyed tone, Dr. Rush "Alright Eli let's go."

Location: Destiny's gate room: Time: 12:32 P.M.

As most Destiny's crew finished coming into the Gate room The civilian representative of the Destiny Expedition: Camile Wray stepped forward and took a few 6 steps onto the gate rooms main staircase and in a calm commanding and charming tone, Camile Wray "Alright Everyone may I have your attention...Thank you Now 1st order of business we all made it to the other side of our 3-year journey and as far we know haven't yet found any evidence that the drone ships from the other galaxy have followed us to this galaxy...(all of the expedition members clapped in excited for hearing that news.) ... Alright settle down everyone yes, we're all excited knowing that as far as we know don't have any drone ships that have followed us; However, I must warn you all their still maybe drone ships out there and we might not know of; Or their maybe other hostile races out there that we don't know of and possible don't want to meet so we need to be on guard.

2nd order of business I will discuss with both Colonel Young and Dr. Rush to see if we can reestablish contact with Earth and to see if any of them still remember us or if they have forgotten us. Hopefully the last part of the state is not true but if so then we must face it that we are now truly alone and faraway of what was once home to us. However, don't lost faith my fellow expedition members we have lost our faraway home for being too damn faraway for them to send a rescue ship to rescue us or even to resupply us. Instead think of this we have already for a long time have made Destiny our home and now it is. I can only hope that we hope to learn to take care of own new home to where we won't need to abandon own new home.

The 3rd order of business is that I need our food inventory management people to do once this meeting is over to go to our food storage inventory and to see if the canned food that we have left in storage has turned bad and is no good and needs to be thrown out; In which case as well if the canned food has indeed gone I will need a few expedition teams to get ready to travel through the gate if there are any inhabitable planets within range to scout out planets for plants that are edible for us; As well maybe if there are a few animals on the planets that they may find and could take back with them could be edible for us. 4th order of business is that we need to check to see if any of our medical supplies have gone bad during our time asleep. If so, we need to right away throw out the bad medicine and make new medicine to replace it. I now will like you to turn your attention to Colonel Young for he has for us some of our list of things to do to make sure we are safe and ready to face whatever is out here."

After she said that she stepped down and Colonel Young took her place and in a calm commanding tone, Colonel Young "Thank you Mrs. Wray. Well like she said We have all made it to the other side of our journey and don't have to worry for the moment of any drone ships that have followed us; However just like what Miss Wray said there still maybe drone ships out there and we might not know of; Or their maybe other hostile races out there that we don't know of and possible don't want to meet so we need to be on guard; That is why after this meeting I need all Military personal to head towards the armory and each gather a weapon or 2 and to gather in teams of 2 or 3 begin to scout out the ship to see if we have by some change picked up some unwanted guests; As you all may have noticed it the air in the ship has gotten moderately thin and it has gotten hard to breathing to degree forcing all of us to take controlled breaths; From what Dr. Rush has told me there are a few opinions to why we have a hard time breathing right now is that either the CO2 scrubbers aboard the ship have once again failed and need to be replaced right away or the scrubber fillers need to be changed on them after a long journey. If the 1st Opinion is true, I will need a few squads of troopers and a few scientists with them once this meeting is dismissed to see if the ships CO2 scrubbers have once again failed and need to be replaced right away or the scrubber fillers need to be changed.

However there is a 2nd opinion to which is a waste case to what all of us hope is not true is that during the trip between galaxies that Destiny might have suffered damage from either some battle damage we missed to repair or from old age taking its toll on the ship from the long journey causing a system to fail and possible explode causing damage; Along with the possible new damage it may have caused a moderate amount air to vent out before the ship was to modify its shields to stop the majority of the atmosphere to vent out; As well activating any emergency hatches to close off the damaged or destroyed compartment areas. If the 2nd Opinion is true, I well need from the to scout teams while they are seeing if we have pick up some unwanted guests is to check the ship for any new damage that the ship has suffered while we were asleep.

The other things I have you guys are things that Miss Wray has alright covered to which we all need to do as well. I want a stargate operator and few SG teams to get ready and to be on standby to be ready to scout out any planets with stargates to for more food and other supplies we may need. I am as well making a list of users to use the Long-Range communication device or L.R.C. Device try to contact earth to see if any of them still remember us and haven't forgotten us. If they still remember us hopefully, they can contact our families and let us see them to tell them that we have made it among other things. That is all I have to say for all of you back to Mrs. Wray."

After he said that he stepped down and Mrs. Wray took his place and in a calm commanding and charming tone, Mrs. Wray "Thank you Colonel Young, alright everyone that's all we have for you for now. We will schedule again meeting if there is any other news either good or bad. Now everyone we have work to do will be busy for at least a few hours, meeting dismiss."

Time: 1:00 P.M.

After the meeting with everyone Colonel Young heard on his hand-held radio a very urgent call from Dr. Rush from the sound of his voice, Dr. Rush "Colonel Young Please come in its Rush!"

Colonel Young in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Young "Go ahead Dr. Rush."

Dr. Rush in a very urgent and somewhat calm tone, Dr. Rush "I need both you and Mrs. Wray to come to control interface room right away both me and Eli have found a few new surprises both good and bad."

Both Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray looked at each other each with a concerned look. Colonel Young in a calm and somewhat concerned tone, Colonel Young "We're on our way Rush."

*During the revival process the Stasis pod systems would give it patient subject a medical awakening stimulant and a muscle stimulate stimulant to begin to restrengthen the muscles of the patient subject from being weaken or damaged from not being used for a long period of time.
