Reestablishing Contact with Earth
Date: May 16, 2014, Location: Colonel Young's conference meeting room across the hall of his personal quarters; Time: 1:48 P.M.
As Colonel Young came into his conference meeting room to get ready for his daily activates, he heard over his radio in a calm tone from Dr. Boone, Dr. Boone "Colonel Young please its Dr. Boone."
Colonel Young in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Young "Go ahead Dr. Boone what do you have for me?"
Dr. Boone in the same tone as before, Dr. Boone "Just wanted to let you know that the L.R.C. system is ready if you want to use it to try to reestablish contact with Earth."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Thank you Dr. both me and Mrs. Wray will be there to use the L.R.C. system please have 2 communication stones ready for us please."
Dr. Boone in the same tone as before, Dr. Boone "Yes, Colonel I'll be waiting."
Colonel Young in the same tone as before, Colonel Young "Roger that Dr.(Colonel Young switched his radios channel to Mrs. Wray's.) Mrs. Wray come in its Young."
Mrs. Wray in a calm tone, Mrs. Wray "This Mrs. Wray Colonel Young; I take it that Dr. Boone has ready the L.R.C. system for us to try to reestablish contact with Earth."
Colonel Young in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Young "That is correct Mrs. Wray. Can you join me in the L.R.C. room with the L.R.C. system to see if we can reestablish contact with Earth?"
Mrs. Wray in a calm and accepting tone, Mrs. Wray "Very well Colonel Young I'm on my way."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel "Copy that Mrs. Wray meet you there."
Time: 1:51 P.M; Location: L.R.C. Room
As Colonel Young opened the door L.R.C. Room door he saw Mrs. Wray coming around the corner. As Mrs. Wray was continuing towards him and the L.R.C. room door and in calm and somewhat amused tone, Colonel Young "Glad you could make it."
Mrs. Wray in calm and somewhat sarcastic tone, Mrs. Wray "Sorry my quarters are not as close to the L.R.C. room as yours."
After Mrs. Wray finished her statement Colonel Young opened the door to the L.R.C. and saw Dr. Boone typing away on his laptop; Colonel Young in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Young "Dr. Boone I see that you have recharged your laptop's battery? As well a far as I can see your doing the finishing touches to see that the L.R.C. system is working properly?"
Dr. Boone in a calm tone, Dr. Boone "Yes Colonel I stopped by the recharging station to quickly recharge my laptop battery to get to work or getting the L.R.C. system operational and working properly; Finally, after 1 final check everything is a go."
Colonel Young in calm tone, Colonel Young "Very well both myself and Mrs. Wray will be the 1st ones to use the L.R.C. systems to try to reestablish contact with Earth."
Dr. Boone in a calm tone, Dr. Boone "Understand Colonel, how long do you guys be to use the L.R.C. systems for?"
Colonel Young in a calm and somewhat calculation tone, Colonel Young "That depends long my debriefing is and for me to spend some time on earth to catch up on what is happened since we entered stasis. I know it well be as least an hour."
Mrs. Wray in a calm and concerned tone, Mrs. Wray "I am going to do roughly the same as Colonel Young in spending some time on earth to catch up on what is happened since we entered stasis; Plus, with me hopeful still being a member of the IOA if they still remember me and that I'm still alive and well; As well still able to perform my duties."
Dr. Boone in a calm tone, Dr. Boone "Very well Colonel and Mrs. Wray go head and pick up a communication stone; Have a seat and place the stones on the platform." Both Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray did as Dr. Boone introduced and they placed the communication stones on the platform.
Time: 1:54 P.M., Location: Earth, U.S., Pentagon L.R.C. systems room
A Marine Corp Staff Sergeant and Master Sergeant entered the L.R.C. systems room and saw Colonel Telford and 1st Lt. of the Air force lady. As they come into the L.R.C. systems room they saw both Colonel Telford and 1st Lt. of the Air force lady started to shake for a few seconds and then that stopped shaking.
The Master Sgt. in calm and curious tone to both Colonel Telford and 1st Lt. Jessica Jones bodies, Master Sgt. "Colonel Telford and Lt. Jones is that you or are you someone else?"
Colonel Young in Colonel Telford's body in calm and somewhat nervous tone, Colonel Young "Actually I'm Colonel Young.(He turned his attention to Mrs. Wray) and this is Mrs. Wray of the IOA. Both Mrs. Wray and I would like to see General O'Neill or however is most high up commanding officer here to give them that the Destiny expedition has wake up after a 3-year long journey; As well to give them the status of the crew and of the ship we're on."
Master Sgt. in a calm and accepting tone, Master Sgt. "Very Well Colonel Young please follow us."
As they were walked around the corridors the Staff Sgt. in a calm and curious tone, Staff Sgt. "Colonel Young during your guys 3-year long journey some of us thought that you guys died and were forgotten after not keeping in contact with us."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Not dead Sgt., just in status sleep for the 3-year journey to another galaxy that took and needed nearly all of the ships power to travel the massive void between galaxies thus why we were in stasis sleep."
Master Sgt. in a calm and somewhat awed tone, Master Sgt. "Awe interesting Colonel."
Time: 1:58 P.M.
After traveling for a few minutes both Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray came to what look's the base's main commanding officer office. On the door both Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray saw was a plaque and on it read 'General Jack O'Neill'. Master Sgt. in a calm tone, Master Sgt. "Please wait here Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray while I inform General O'Neill that you guys have returned."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Very well Sgt."
After Colonel Young finished his statement, the Master Sgt. opened General O'Neill's office door and he saw the General doing paperwork; Master Sgt. in a calm and subdued tone, Master Sgt. "Excuse me General O'Neill do you know of the L.R.C. system that we used to switch bodies with someone across vast distances?"
General O'Neill in a calm and somewhat painful thoughtful tone, General O'Neill "Vaguely Sgt. I remember using it to help Colonel Young undone the brainwashing the Lucian alliance did to Colonel Telford, why do you ask?"
Master Sgt. in calm tone, Master Sgt. "Well roughly 3 years ago we got a massage from Colonel Young that they were doing into a 3-year stasis sleep because of Destiny needed all its power to travel across the massive void between Galaxy."
General O'Neill in a calm and moderately annoyed tone, General O'Neill "Sgt. Please get to the point I don't have all day and have a lot of paperwork to do."
The Master Sgt. just nodded in continued in the same tone as before, Master Sgt. "Right General anyway it now as being 3-years and the Destiny Expedition crew has awaked. I Know this because I have with here Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray in Colonel Telford and 1st Lt. Jones bodies and they wished to talk to you."
General O'Neill in calm tone, General O'Neill "Alright bring them in Sgt."
Master Sgt. in a calm accepting tone, Master Sgt. "Yes, Sir.(After the Master Sgt. said that he opened door and turned his attention to Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray.) The General will see you Colonel."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Thank you Sgt." After he finished his statement both he and Mrs. Wray came into General O'Neill's office and Colonel Young saluted to General O'Neill to which General O'Neill give back in a somewhat annoyed expression.
General O'Neill in a calm and somewhat annoyed tone, General O'Neill "At ease Colonel Young and have the both of you.(They both did as General O'Neill requested and took their seats. General O'Neill then shifted his tone into a calm curious tone.) It's good to see you again Colonel Young and even you Mrs. Wray."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Thank You it's good to be 'Home' again."
Mrs. Wray the same tone, Mrs. Wray "Yes, its good to be 'Home' again General."
General O'Neill in a calm and curious tone, General O'Neill "Some of the Stargate Personal on Earth thought that you guys died since in guys have contacts us over 3-years but now we know why; Anyway, straight to Business Mrs. Wray do you want to see your lover, Sharon Walker?"
Mrs. Wray in a sadden and calm tone, Mrs. Wary "Given how we finished our last conversation ended I think not. Tell me General O'Neill did Sharon Walker move on from me?"
General O'Neill in a calm tone, General O'Neill "Well from what our Intel agents Mrs. Walker has followed you advise and has moved on has recently got married to her new wife: Mrs. Sarah Wilson."
Mrs. Wray in the same tone as before, Mrs. Wray "I see General it's nice that Mrs. Walker as moved on."
General O'Neill in a calm and curious tone, General O'Neill "Mrs. Wray would you like me to try to schedule a meeting for you before you and the IOA High council to tell them that you are alive and well."
Mrs. Wray in a calm tone, Mrs. Wray "Yes after you guys are done catching up. General O'Neill could you guide me to the mess hall please I would like to get a bite to eat."
General O'Neill in a calm tone, General O'Neill "Of course,(General O'Neill shifted his tone to a calm commanding tone.) Master Sgt. Garica come in please."
In respond General O'Neill's office door opened and Master Sgt. Garica come in and in a calm and curious tone, Master Sgt. Garica "Yes, Sir?"
General O'Neill in a calm tone, General O'Neill "Sgt. Garica can you please take Mrs. Wray to the mess hall to get some lunch while me and Colonel Young catching up and with me schedule a meeting between Mrs. Wray and the IOA High council."
Master Sgt. Garica in a calm tone, Master Sgt. Garica "Yes, sir, come Mrs. Wray I'll show you where the mess hall is."
Mrs. Wray in a calm and grateful tone, Mrs. Wray "Thank you Sgt."
Time: 4:30 P.M.
Over the next few hours both General O'Neill and Colonel Young catch up with each other and the status of Colonel Young's expedition and of Destiny; Colonel Young told General O'Neill that all of his expedition members have wake up and are doing their daily duties aboard Destiny. As for General O'Neill he told Colonel Young of things that happened in the Stargate program and the military since they were in stasis sleep. General O'Neill told Colonel Young that few of his fellow officers: Samantha Carter, Steven Caldwell and Cameron Mitchell have been Promoted a few times; He told Colonel Young that Steven Caldwell is now a Maj. Gen. and is the commanding officer of the Planetary defense fleet of Earth; Samantha Carter is now a Brig. Gen. and is the commanding officer of their 1st Galactic Strike force fleet; Cameron Mitchell is now a Brig. Gen. and is the commanding officer of their 1st Galactic defensive force fleet; General O'Neill as well told Colonel Young that both he and a few of the major Generals in the Stargate Program of become promoted with himself now being a full Air force General; General Landry of stargate command operations on Earth has been promoted to Lt. General.
General O'Neill told Colonel Young that for the past 4 years that their Galactic Planetary Shipyards have gone into full production of all their BC-304 Battle-cruisers in their still ongoing Galactic war with the Lucian Alliance; General O'Neill told Colonel Young that they have a large number of BC-304 Battle-cruisers to protect their Galactic interests in the Milky Way from the Lucian Alliance and other threats in their home galaxy; As well with them introducing a few new classes of Galactic ships: Ronald Reagan Carrier and the Terra class cargo ship classes into their Growing Galactic Fleet. General O'Neill told Colonel Young that the stargate Program as dramatically expanded to where they now have multiple off-world bases to protect their interests in the galaxy; As well with them having several mining colonies to provide them with materials to continue expanding their growing galactic fleet in the galaxy. Along with their massive expanding of the Stargate Program and their Galactic activities in the galaxy General O'Neill told Colonel Young that they have contact with an Ascended ancient who had gifted them with 3 Ancient Aurora-Class battleships that they have interacted with. As well the Ascended ancient giving them another gift with recharging all the depleted ZMP's they have found and in storage and ready to use to which they are use 3 to power the Ancient city: Atlantis and another 1 to power the ancient outpost of Earth; Another 1 they have for a top-secret off-world project that he will tell Colonel Young on what they are using it for later on. He as well told Colonel Young that remaining ZMP's are in storage.
After General O'Neill and Colonel Young finished catching up with each other General O'Neill was able to schedule a meeting between Mrs. Wray and the IOA High council to tell them that she is still alive and to catch up on what she missed out while she in stasis sleep for 3 years. Finally, at 4:30 P.M. Mrs. Wray was able to meet with the IOA High Council for 1 1/2 hours to catch up. At 1st the IOA high council members were surprised and confused to see Mrs. Wray because they forgotten her and thought she dead with her not keeping in contact with them. Mrs. Wray was able to clear air of what happened to her to which she too was surprised to see that the IOA high council has expanded to a total of 15 members of various nations with the Gate Alliance treaty; She saw and heard from the IOA high council that they have become their Home-world's Galactic representatives in both Galactic and Intergalactic affairs in the Galaxy and in the Universe; Along with catching up with them Mrs. Wray heard of the massive expansion of the stargate program and their increased influence in their home galaxy and of the new ship classes the Stargate program designed to protect they interest in their home galaxy.
Time: 6:03 P.M.
Toward the end of their meets with their respective officials that made 1 finally visit General O'Neill's office to say they goodbyes and return to Destiny; They saw General O'Neill was setting in his office chair doing more paperwork; As both Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray came into General O'Neill's office Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "General O'Neill both myself and Mrs. Wray are about to return to Destiny we just wanted to say our goodbyes for now."
General O'Neill in a calm tone, General O'Neill "Alright, However before you guys return to Destiny I want to show you something."
Colonel Young in a calm and curious tone, Colonel Young "Alright General what do you to have us?"
General O'Neill in a calm and somewhat smug tone, General O'Neill "I'll show you guys." After said that General O'Neill pick up the TV remote to his office's TV and turn on the TV. After the TV was turned on all 3 saw a civilian scientist and in the background of him was what look like some type of control room.
The civilian scientist in a calm, moderately annoyed and curious tone, the civilian scientist "Ah General O'Neill too what do I this interruption?"
General O'Neill in a calm and equally moderately annoyed tone, General O'Neill "Watch it McKay or I will cut my share of the funding to companion in trying to return to the Pegasus Galaxy is possibly discover old secrets of the ancients in Pegasus."
Dr. Rodney McKay in a calm and concerned tone, Dr. Rodney McKay "You wouldn't dare General."
General O'Neill in a calm and somewhat sarcastic tone, General O'Neill "Try me McKay I have my eyes on a new set of guns I want; Plus, I think I want to remodel my house with the money I would save."
Dr. Rodney McKay in calm defeatist and curious tone, Rodney McKay "Alright, Alright General what can I do for you?"
General O'Neill in a calm and curious tone, General O'Neill "Just seeing if you guys' haves figured out how far away is to dial the 9 Chervon to try to resupply them with much need resources?"
Both Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray had a shocked look on their faces and Colonel Young in a moderately surprised and calm tone, Colonel Young "What have you guys another Icarus Base type of planet to provide enough power to possible reach Destiny?"
Dr. Rodney McKay in a calm and curious tone, Rodney McKay "General O'Neill why is Colonel Telford and Lt. Jones here?"
General O'Neill in a calm tone, General O'Neill "That is because this is Colonel Young and Mrs. Wray in Colonel Telford and Lt. Jones bodies from switching with them using the L.R.C. system after being in 3-year long stasis sleep in Destiny make a 3-year journey between galaxies."
Dr. Rodney McKay in calm and thoughtful tone, Rodney McKay "Ah thank you General O'Neill and no Colonel Young we haven't found another Icarus Base type of planet to provide enough power to possible reach Destiny; Instead, since we have 7 full powered ZMP's both me and most of scientists involved with trying to get enough power to dial Destiny; So, we decided to use 1 of our full power ZMP's that hopeful as enough power to make a connection to Destiny's stargate; However, the history of attempts to dial Destiny by us and the Lucian Alliance by using an Icarus base type of planet to provide enough power from its core to reach Destiny given the slightest major disturbance like bombs going off; Or the slightest miscalculations in the power needed would the planets core to become unstable and explode; So, we decided to try used a ZMP but getting the massive power needed and if we're off by a fraction in calculating the amount of power needed it could maybe cause the ZMP to explode causing a massive planetary disaster to which is why we are doing this project on a planet roughly 50 light-years away from Earth. The only thing missing is the distance calculation to calculate the distance and possible the amount of power needed from the ZMP to make a connection to Destiny."
Colonel Young in a calm and somewhat smug tone, Colonel Young "Well before me came here Dr. McKay our ship chief mathematician Eli Wallace was able to get a distance calculation to where Destiny is currently relatively to Earth and that would be 4.8 billion Light-years away from Earth. However, Dr. McKay if you want further details on the calculations, you will need Mr. Wallace's here to help you guys out."
Dr. Rodney McKay in a surprised and somewhat calm tone, Rodney McKay "4.8 billion Light-years away from Earth improve that Mr. Wallace was able figure that out; You're Right Colonel Young I will need Mr. Wallace here to help us to getting the correct details on how he was able to do the calculations."
Colonel Young in calm tone, Colonel Young "We will get him over here as soon as we recover by to the L.R.C. system and switch back ourselves and to tell the crew the good news not both Colonel Telford and Lt. Jones haven't already."
Dr. Rodney McKay in a calm tone, Rodney McKay "Very well Colonel Young we will be waiting for Mr. Wallace to come over and help us."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Very well Dr. McKay.(After he finished his statement to Dr. McKay Colonel Young turned his attention back to General O'Neill.) With your permission General O'Neill, we must return to Destiny to get Mr. Wallace; As well to Possibly give other members of the crew a change to visit Earth."
General O'Neill in a calm tone, General O'Neill "Very well both you and Mrs. Wray as dismissed and are allowed to return back to Destiny."
Mrs. Wray in a calm tone, Mrs. Wray "Thank you, come Colonel Young we don't want to keep the rest of Destiny's crew waiting."
Colonel Young in a calm tone, Colonel Young "Right Mrs. Wray."
