It was now the end of Summer and Rocket was excitedly preparing for his first sleepover as Teefs and Floor were sleeping over because Teefs's dad and Floor's mom were going on a Ravager mission but Herbert had told his lil prince he was starting school in a few days, making him realise that Floor and Teefs would be starting school too plus cuddling his stuffed otter, Scruff feeling adrenaline rush through his furry body along with excitement hearing the doorbell guessing it was Teefs and Floor seeing Herbert opening the door as it was their friends, feeling his paws all jittery hoping ut would go okay
"Hey Teefs, Floor it's good you're here, but it's gonna be fun." he told them leading them to his room impressing Floor and Teefs at his room which was preftybig compared to theirs at their homes noticing Rocket's furry cheeks going pink like the other day guessing he felt embarrassed about having such big a bedroom feeling Teefs's paw on his furry shoulder bringing him oht of his thoughts but Floor noticed him cuddlijg his stuffed otter making her and Teefs get it, they'd brought their favourite stuffies too
"You're our friend and we don't care if you're royal or not, you're awesome." Floor told hik seeing him feeling better deciding to build a fort, being careful of Teefs's wheelchair not caring about that after he'd asked his dad why Teefs was in a wheelchair so Herbert had explained helping him understand, and keep an open mind telling him, that Wondergore had a policy of accepting others who was different which made his nervousness about school melt away, because of that thinking Teefs's chair was cool.
"Woah, it looks awesome and big enough for all of us to fit, you know." Rocket said to them seeing them entering but having snacks, and there was an nightlight as Floor guessed that Rocket was afraid of the dark like her, seeing him cuddling Scruff his stuffed otter seeing Teefs cuddling TJ his stuffed walrus, and Floor had a stuffed bunny, which made Rocket grin, not feeling alone in this but having fun hoping that they weren't beibg too loud or waking Herbert up seeing Rocket shake his furry head in reply.
"Nope he's a deep-sleeper guys." he reassured them grinning relieving them.
"That's good, as we don't wanna cause trouble you know." Teefs told him.
Herbert was smilijg, checking on Rocket and his friends seeing them asleep in the fort they'd built, but was making breakfast for them hoping school would be okay for them, when they started school, knowing some kids didn't follow Wondergore's acceptance policy so he'd teach Rocket how to deal with those kids if they picked on him or his friends as he might beca target being the crown prince making him sighing, asking the smart-kitchen to make pancakes for them humming softly to hinsekf seeing the kids begin to stir, realising it was late morning but making Herbert chuckle as they were eating up listening to them talking making him smile, but getting messages from Teefs's dad and Floor's mom.
"Excuse me guys." he said to them leaving them making Rocket anxious
"You okay mate, you look nervous." Teefs said to him seeing him nodding slipping away hearing his dad talking to somebody on video-chat seeing it was Teefs's dad saying he and Floor's mom would be gone longer making him worried for his friends surprising Herbert after hanging up that he was there.
"Sorry dad, I got curious but are they gonna be okay." Rocket told him.
"I think so, but Teefs and Floor might hecstaying." he told him.
