Chapter 2

Percy went back to visit Artemis many times after that. They talked for hours, and Percy learned a lot about her. He learned that she was kind and compassionate, but she was also strong and independent. She was a true leader, and she always put the needs of others before her own.

Percy also learned a lot about himself. He learned that he was brave and resourceful, but he also learned that he was still learning. He was not perfect, but he was always trying to improve himself.

One day, Percy was visiting Artemis when he saw something that he had never seen before. She was standing in the middle of the forest, surrounded by a circle of animals. There were deer and rabbits and foxes, and even a bear.

The animals were all looking at Artemis with respect and admiration. They knew that she was their leader, and they would do anything for her.

Percy was amazed. He had never seen anything like it before. He knew that Artemis was a powerful goddess, but he had never seen her in this kind of light. She was truly a queen of the wild.

Percy watched Artemis for a long time. He was fascinated by her power and her grace. He knew that he was in the presence of something truly special.

After a while, Artemis noticed Percy watching her. She smiled and waved, and Percy waved back.

"Do you like what you see?" she asked.

Percy nodded. "Yes," he said. "You're amazing."

Artemis laughed. "Thank you," she said. "I'm glad you think so."

Percy and Artemis talked for a while longer, and then Percy decided to leave. He didn't want to intrude on her time with the animals.

"I should probably go," he said. "It was nice seeing you again."

Artemis nodded. "It was nice seeing you too," she said. "You can come back and visit me anytime."

Percy smiled. "I will," he said.

Percy turned and walked away, but he couldn't help but look back one last time. Artemis was still standing there, watching him. She smiled and waved, and Percy waved back.

Percy walked out of the forest and into the sunlight. He took a deep breath and smiled. He had had a wonderful time visiting Artemis, and he couldn't wait to see her again.

The next day, Percy was walking through the forest when he saw Artemis again. She was sitting on a rock, surrounded by the animals.

Percy walked over to her and sat down next to her. "Hello," he said.

Artemis smiled. "Hello," she said. "What brings you here today?"

"I just wanted to see you," Percy said. "I missed you."

Artemis smiled again. "I missed you too," she said.

Percy and Artemis talked for a long time. They talked about their lives, their families, and their dreams. Percy told Artemis about his plans to go to college, and she told him about her plans to continue leading the hunt.

As the sun began to set, Percy realized that he had been talking to Artemis for a long time.

"I should probably go," he said. "It's getting late."

Artemis nodded. "It was nice talking to you," she said. "You can come back and visit me anytime."

Percy smiled. "I will," he said.

Percy stood up to leave, but then he stopped. He turned back to Artemis and said, "I'm sorry for seeing you bathing."

Artemis smiled. "It's okay," she said. "I'm not ashamed of my body."

Percy nodded. "I know," he said. "But I still should have asked."

Artemis reached out and touched Percy's cheek. "You're a good boy, Percy," she said. "And I'm glad you're my friend."

Percy smiled. "I'm glad I'm your friend too," he said.

Percy turned and walked away, but he couldn't help but look back one last time. Artemis was still standing there, watching him. She smiled and waved, and Percy waved back.

Percy walked out of the forest and into the sunlight. He took a deep breath and smiled. He had had a wonderful time talking to Artemis, and he couldn't wait to see her again.

But the next time Percy went to visit Artemis, she was different.
