With the battle over, the black rock barriers came down.
"Honoka, this way!" A voice shouted.
Amphibia looked around, but saw no one. "Who said that!?" Receiving no answer, she darted down the street.
Suddenly, a massive spear slammed into the ground just behind her. "Whoa!" Amphibia looked behind her and saw what had thrown it.
Perched on a pillar of black rock, about a block away, was an Alpha Panther Pink Lord.
It was identical to a normal Panther Pink Lord. Except it wore a bright-golden shield that formed bright-golden outwards pointing shoulder pauldrons and a backplate.
The monster held out its right hand and the spear shot back up into the hand. But that had caused the road Amphibia was on to start breaking apart, falling into the endless void.
"Nuts!" Amphibia raced forwards. She dodged to the left as a hole opened in the right side of the road and slowed down as a truck skidded past into the drop. Amphibia ran forwards as a car fell in front of her and slid into the void. Suddenly, a caravan to her left started to slide towards her.
"Woah!" The Kamen Rider's boots shone with pure-white light as she rocketed forwards with a speed boost, clearing the caravan just before it could force her off the edge. A truck slid in front of her and she dodged to the left before goggling as a second caravan fell off a third caravan, smashing open a hole in the road.
"Why were those even stacked!?" Amphibia's boots shone with bright-white light once more as she leapt into the air, clearing the gap with ease. Another caravan fell, slamming into the road and opening another hole which yet another caravan started to slide into.
"What is it with the caravan around here!?" Amphibia jumped to the back half of the mobile home while it started to slide into the void. The soles of her boots shone as she sprinted up the caravan leaving bright-white speed lines in her wake. Amphibia jumped off the caravan and did a backflip, landing back on solid ground while the vehicle finished sliding off the edge.
"Phew, back on solid ground." Amphibia looked back at the Alpha Panther Pink Lord. Just in time to see the monster leap away, quickly getting out of sight.
She turned around and pitch-black rocks exploded out of the ground, forming into an arena that kept her trapped.
A new type of monster appeared in the sky. It was identical to a Panther Pink Lord. The only exception was that its buckle had a crow in the center of it. It had pitch-black wings coming from its back and was flying in the air.
This is a Crow Pink Lord.
Let the battle begin!
Wave one start!
The Lord tucked its wings in and shot down at the Kamen Rider. Amphibia twisted her driver's ring twice.
[SECOND CIRCLE!]
She crossed her arms, forming a circle-shaped barrier of bright-white light. The Lord turned and hit the barrier feet first, shattering it. Its feet impacted Amphibia's arms and broke through her guard, hitting her in the breastplate. Amphibia flew across the street from the blow. She threw her arms back, halting in the air. Then Amphibia aimed her arms forwards and flew at the Lord. It flew at her and then spun, avoiding both of her fists. The Lord slashed through the Kamen Rider with its wings as they shot past each other.
Amphibia grunted as she hit the ground, sparks coming from the cuts in her body before she rolled back to her feet. She drew her sword and swung it three times, firing three pure-white energy waves. The Lord formed an orb of bright-pink light in its hands and threw it. The orb was sliced in half by the first energy wave, only for it to explode. The explosion took out the second and third energy waves. Amphibia peered through the smoke, only for the Lord to come shooting down from the sky, landing a shoulder charge that forced her down, cracking the road.
Amphibia groaned as she climbed back to her boots while the Lord jumped back into the air. Then something started to glow behind her. She reached around with her left hand and felt something materialized. Amphibia brought her hand back around and looked at the item.
It was another Ancient Core.
Amphibia had been hunted by these monsters for years. Whenever she got into a fight she couldn't handle, she only had to survive for a while, then her body would make a new Core that was tailor made to fight that type of monster.
It was identical to the Light Ancient Core, only the symbol engraved into its circle was bright-yellow and looked like a shield.
This is the Shield Ancient Core.
She ran her left thumb down the Core's circle, spinning it.
[SHIELD!]
She placed it into her top right hip slot.
[CORE SET!]
The right hip's light turned bright-yellow. "CIRCLE UP!" Amphibia struck her right hip's left with her right palm.
[GO!]
The right hip light emitted a swirling yellow-white light that hid the Kamen Rider from view for a few seconds, when it faded, she had transformed.
[SHIELDED HERO!]
Her cape had turned bright-yellow. The markings on her breastplate had changed to a bright-yellow sword that pointed down and a bright-yellow circle-shaped shield below the sword. The Hero's Sword now had bright-yellow edges.
Kamen Rider Amphibia had transformed into her Shield Hero Circle!
[AMPHIBIA, LIGHT!]
The Crow Pink Lord flapped its wings and dived down at the Kamen Rider, Amphibia spun the Agito Driver's ring twice with her right hand.
[SECOND CIRCLE!]
She held up her left hand, forming a circle-shaped barrier of bright-white light. The monster slammed into it and bounced off, before it could recover, the barrier came down and Amphibia slashed down, cutting a yellow-white line through the monster.
The Lord flapped its wings, firing a barrage of black feathers at Amphibia. She stabbed her sword into the ground and held both hands out, a wall of bright-white light formed in front of her. All of the feathers bounced off it without doing any damage.
Amphibia grabbed her sword and leapt at the monster. It tried to fly away, but she held out a hand and flicked two fingers. A wall of bright-white light appeared in the Lord's path, forcing it to stop. Amphibia slashed to the right with her sword held in her left hand, cutting another line through it.
The Kamen Rider landed on the ground and looked up as the Lord was coated in bright-pink light before coming down at her in a dive. The energy shifted into the form of a bright-pink bird with pitch-black eyes. Amphibia spun the Shield Ancient Core's circle.
[SHIELD!]
Then she twisted the Agito Driver's wheel.
[AMPHIBIA FINISH!]
Her helmet's wings fanned out along the circlet, revealing that she had six of them. A logo appeared on the ground, it was identical to her breastplate logo in her Hero Circle. It spiraled into her feet before the bright-golden energy traveled up her body, into her right hand and into the Hero's Sword. "HERO'S BLOCK!" She held out her right hand and a barrier of white-yellow energy formed. The monster impacted it and sparks flew everywhere as it tried to break through. But the Lord used up all its energy and had to break off the attack. Amphibia jumped, she shot through the barrier and was accelerated like an arrow from a bow. She slashed down, gripping her sword in both hands and cutting the monster in half. Both halves fell to the ground and exploded.
Wave one ended!
Wave two begins!
A Panther Pink Lord burst from the ground and lunged at the Kamen Rider from behind. Amphibia formed a wall of bright-white light behind her that blocked a slash from the monster's spear. The wall came down as Amphibia spun around and rammed her right boot into its stomach. Then Amphibia spun her driver's ring four times.
[FOURTH CIRCLE!]
She held up her left hand, forming a disk of energy that she hurled at the Lord. It swung its spear to the right, deflecting the disk, but Amphibia had run up behind her attack and decked it in the face, throwing it back through the air.
Amphibia removed the Shield Ancient Core from her right hip device and slammed it into the Hero's Sword's slot.
[AMPHIBIA FINISH!]
She pulled the weapon's trigger as the Lord was coated in bright-pink light that collected around the tip of its spear.
[SHIELD!]
The Lord raced forwards and stabbed at the Kamen Rider, only for a barrier of white-yellow light to appear in the spear's path. It was at an angle so the spear slid off it to the right. "HERO BARRIER!" Amphibia dove around to the right and slashed through the monster's side, leaving a bright-yellow cut. The Lord fell over and then exploded!
Wave two had been beaten!
Let wave three begin!
A second Panther Pink Lord burst from the ground and lunged at the Kamen Rider with a spear thrust. Amphibia held up her right hand and formed a barrier of bright-yellow light. The spear struck the barrier and started to crack it.
Amphibia rolled to the side, avoiding the thrust as the barrier shattered. She rolled back to her feet and fired her heat vision at the Lord's side, sparks flew as it staggered to the right.
Amphibia removed the Light Ancient Core from the Agito Driver's slot and placed it into the Hero's Sword's slot.
[AMPHIBIA FINISH!]
She held her sword horizontally as bright-white light gathered around the blades. The Lord saw this and covered its spear in bright-pink energy before racing forwards with a stab aimed at Amphibia's head. She hit her sword's trigger.
[THE HERO!]
The two combatants lunged forwards with a stab aimed at the other's face. A small barrier of white-yellow light appeared in front of Amphibia's faceplate, blocking the stab. The Lord had no stuck defense, the sword pierced through its face and out the other side. Amphibia jerked her blade free as the monster fell to its knees and exploded!
Battle ended!
