Prologue

narrator: when the US entered world war two 36 Cleveland class cruisers were ordered. 27 were completed and only 24 stayed as cruisers. So what happened to the rest of them in Azur Lane. Only the Cleveland sisters would know what happened when they rolled off the dry dock to get to the Azur lane base. It's about time we start this tale.

Prologue end

the night was quite at the Azur lane HQ. The lights off the soft sound of waves and... dribbling...on...a... basketball quart? The 4 Cleveland sisters playing basketball ball at 01:09 at the morning. While this may seem weird this was a nightly occurrence.

" Hey Big-sis, what... what do you think it would be like if more of us made it" Denver asked

Cleveland went into a thinking pose before saying " honestly I have no clue. I mean... we... had brothers and sisters, I it would be similar to how we are but with 23 other little brats too look after" she tried joking

Columbia took a shot at the basket, but with a aggressive vigor to it " can we stop talking about this and get back to horse. It's... it's just painful to remember"

Monteplier looked uncomfortable at all the mention of her 23 M.I.A siblings. She tried taking a layup but tripped and fell flat one her face. " Damnit, why must I always have the luck of English Whiskey being sold in Scotland" she yelled into the ground." Hey guys, wanna call it a night. I'm tired. Honestly I'm starting to get tired of this... maybe we should just go to vestal about what happened."

The other 3 sister looked at her incredulously before all saying no to vestal. They all looked at there watches and decided to head to bed. All in a slightly gloomy mode of all the mentions of there siblings. They went back to there dorm.

Azur lane HQ 1:23am Eagle Union dormitory Cleveland complex also know as " the cc"

as they walked in together they went through a door to se a small Kitchenette and Couch with a TV. There were two hallways that lead to 2 separate rooms. Each room had there own bathroom . This was the "CC" party central for rangers and day-gers (day ragers) between the hours of 2pm and 11 pm.

The sisters each went to there separate rooms to shower and get changed. Once they were done they went to the communal area. They all were in the room at 2:04. Every sat and watched there favorite sitcom "K.A.N.S.E.N.S" . This was a Kansen spoof on the popular human sitcom "friends". They all sat and watched an episode before placing a flower next to a photo. The photo was a large pan out of all of there twenty seven siblings smiling and cheering, ready to be deployed. However what non of them was the slaughter that would lay ahead of them.

Cleveland's room 03:04am

Cleveland lay asleep in her bed. To anyone outside her dreams seemed peaceful but they were littered with nightmares of that fateful day

inside her dreams the day that forever changed her life flashed before her eyes.

flashback?/dream?

her three brothers stood next to her, Denver, Columbia and Monteplier. They were sailing happily laughing and joking. "So anyways I totally told the girl to lay off of my lil' bro right Santa-fe. Can't say I haven't done anything for you now. Hehe" Amsterdam said in a joyful tone

Santa-fe elbowed him in the side while he blushed " thanks big bro but... it's a bit embarrassing. Beside why not pick on Tallahassee. Don't you have way more stories about him. Anyway" Santa-fe said.

Tallahassee grinned before saying "HEY come on big bro Fe, don't shift it all to me. Otherwise we can't get teasing material equally on everyone. Ha and we all know you have the more embarrassing story's."

" all right that's enough we'll all get a chance to get material on each other but we have to pick up the rest from the docks." Cleveland stated before turning to Amsterdam " and you, you have the most embarrassing material yet, so I wouldn't be talkin if I were you"

at that the rest of the siblings began to laugh at the sulking Amsterdam before one thought ran through Clevelands head " watch out Sirens, the knights are coming for you." What she didn't know was how wrong she was

they made it to the dock where they picked up there youngest siblings Wilkes-barre, Atlanta and Dayton. They settled in for the night before heading out the next day.

when they all woke up they did the morning routine and moved to the launch to see there youngest siblings be launched for there first time.

The four oldest sisters wore what they do normally (cannon clothes) to the event . They were also the first to arrive at the launching. They sat there for a minute before Amsterdam arrived. He wore a pair of nice suede shoes with long deep blue jeans. Over that he had a white solid color v-neck t-shirt with a black short sleeve button up shirt over it worn open. The black by ton up had a pattern of alcoholic drinks like Martinis and margaritas on it. Finally he had long blonde hair reaching his upper shoulder blade with blue eyes and wore a pair of aviators. Next was Santa-fe who wore a pair of sandals and khaki shorts. He had short sleeved band t-shirt on that read "The Beach Boys". He had silver hair that was mid length and he had a ball cap on backwards. Last but not least was Tallahassee. He was in stark constrast to his other brothers. He wore black boots with with ript black jeans. He wore a different band shirt this being a Metallica "ride the lightening " shirt. He had very long and wild dirty blonde hair reaching to his mid back. On his back hidden in was a small flight deck that could launch up to 45 planes. He was one of the Cleveland that was converted to a independence light carrier. Amsterdam was as well however they stayed with the Cleveland siblings as deep down that's who they were.

once all 24 gathered to watch there youngest siblings two sisters and one brother added to the family. They all gathered around in anticipation for there newest siblings. Finally the dramatic moment happened when the complete hull was launched down the ramp.

once the ceremony is was over the rest of the siblings set off to the Azur Lane HQ alone due to there being multiple carriers and maybe 8x as many cruisers accompanying them. All of them were the Cleveland class in some way.

However while en route to the Azur Lane base they saw a portal open. They stood in shock before getting out there rigging ." ... Fucking shit," Cleveland yelled before getting ready for battle " everyone get prepped for battle, try and call for reinforcements"

suddenly 5 carrier divisions worth of planes were sent at them. Shortly after the sky was blotted out by falling shells from siren ships. She turned her head to her sisters before everything went dark

flashback/dream end 6:08

Cleveland woke up from the dream in a cold sweat knowing how it ended. Every time the dream ended she could faintly hear screaming, those same god damned screams haunting her for eternity.
