Chapter 10

While being taken away, Chloe asks, "Do you really mean to kill me, even after what we've done together in the past?"

Ash says, "What do you mean by the past?"

"You know really well!" Chloe says, "You stayed with my Dad for a year as a Lab Assistant! We've been traveling the regions together back then for our Dad's work!"

"Oh, you're talking about that past." Ash says. "I would never forget about that, that's why it hurts me a lot a year ago when you try to kill us."

Chloe doesn't know how to reply, Lillie says, "Nice try. But what you did is just opening a wound in Ash's heart."

Chloe stares at Lillie and asks, "So is it true? That you are not only Lillie but Serena and Dawn as well? Why would you split into 3 people?"

"It's obvious, I wanted to see how people are doing not only in Alola but also Kalos and Sinnoh. Ash is also the same as well." Lillie says.

"Indeed. I am also Alain and N, not that you know who they are." Ash sighs. "And we're here."

Chloe widens her eyes as she sees that the room is not some sort of execution room, but a glorious bedroom. Chloe asks, "What? But I..."

"You're going to be our bargaining chip for the upcoming war with the 9 regions. Do you think we don't know what that meeting in Wyndon is all about?" Lillie asks while folding her arms.

"Why didn't you just kill me instead?" Chloe asks.

"We could do that, but you are useful to us." Ash says. "And you're still imprisoned, only that we changed a better location for you."

Once Chloe is inside, Ash and Lillie leave while locking the door. Chloe frowns as she sits on the bed, it is comfy much to her surprise. Then she decides to open the window, but she is surprised to see what's outside: Peaceful mountains, forests, and an ocean. Chloe can only gasp in shock, from what she had heard, this island used to be small, but when did it become this big and why aren't there any signs of war on this island?

In the meeting room, Ash and Lillie are with the other representative. "The problem with people outside of the 8 regions still remains. We may have a victory outside our territory, but we also lose a lot of our loved ones, including our Fairy Representative: Flora Mache's sister."

Everyone frowns, and Flora asks, "Speaking of that, I want to ask what is the punishment for those two people who killed my sister. Are you going to give them execution?"

"That sounds like a good idea, however, I'm sure every one of us in the room is guilty of continuously killing people, even though they are from our enemies." Ash says. "Nobody likes killing people, and neither are we. We are Aura Users chosen by our lord Arceus, we were supposed to use our powers to protect Pokemon. However, because of the great civil war against us Aura Guardians, we were forced to kill Pokemon who were slaves by the humans as well."

This causes everyone to lower their heads, but Ash says, "However, it is the Pokemon's choice to either be slaves of the humans, or friends of us Aura Guardians, if they want to sacrifice for them, then so be it. Now back to the topic, Goh will pay for his actions, and I'll see to it. As for Chloe, after scanning her soul with aura, she just wanted to stop Goh from doing something rash and she doesn't have any will to fight us. So she will be held as an important bargain guest for us."

This gives Flora a satisfied small smile, Ash says, "And next we have the World Champion Leon, who will be sharing the same condition as Chloe, he will be room imprisoned in this castle. He gave us information on each of the Infinity Gems and how they work. All that's left is to search for them."

Then after talking to the representatives about the gems, they end the meeting and both Ash and Lillie are to meet Arceus.

After Arceus is with Ash and Lillie, Ash says, "You know, Arceus, I was surprised you would let us do the killing in Wyndon. I thought you would punish us for what we have done."

Arceus says, "I would have done the same thing if it is the old me, however, after what happened to the past with Marcus and their Pokemon, I couldn't care less. I may have created the world, and Mew might be the one who created the Pokemon, but what they want to do is their choice. And I can only watch the choice."

Ash nods and says, "Arceus, I heard of the current World Champion Leon about something known as the Infinity Gems. Are they the real deal?"

"The Infinity Gems are the real, they are scattered in the 9 regions. However, to make sure that those evil humans can't use them, all of the Legendary Pokemon have sealed their powers away." Arceus says.

"That sounds safe. But if we want to use them, how are we going to use them if they're sealed?" Lilie asks.

"There is a saying that Aura Transfer is one of the ways to activate the gems." Arceus says.

"We are not sacrificing any aura users to activate the gems." Ash says.

"I know you're going to say that. However, Aura is not only in aura users, but in everything, live beings, and places, maybe there are places with the foundation of the aura, and you can use the natural aura instead."

"Natural aura? And where are we going to find this natural aura?" Lillie asks.

"Each region has its own natural aura, and that's where that type of Pokemon likes to gather." Arceus says. "Each of the natural auras is preserved by the Royal Pokemon, so you'll need their help to get the natural aura."

"I see." Ash smiles, "Arceus, I want to ask another question. The Rumbling. You see, I have seen all 1010 Pokemon already, which means I have the chance to activate the Rumbling. Can you tell me how to activate it?"

"The Rumbling, if you use its power, all of the Legendary Pokemon and Mythical Pokemon will come to your side, it has the power to destroy the world." Arceus says, "Why do you want to use the Rumbling?"

Ash says, "People treat us as devils while all we want is to live a peaceful life. My Mother was killed by those who think of me as a devil and they have been attacking our region for a lot of years. In the near future, they are going to work together to wipe our island off the face of the Earth, and we can't let that happen."

Arceus closes his eyes and says, "The Rumbling is not used as a tool to fight against the other nations, but then again, because you have the power to use it, everyone outside the Sevestar will be targetting you, and those who fight alongside with you will try to protect you, and they will be sacrificed."

"Like Alice..." Lillie mutters with anger.

"I'll teach you how to use the Rumbling, and I trust you to use it at the right time." Arceus says as Ash nods, willing to train with Arceus about how to use the Rumbling.

After getting back to their siblings, Golly asks, "So how is it, Brother?"

"The Rumbling is ready to activate at any time." Ash replies. "However, I still want to give the Infinity Gems a chance."

"So what does Arceus say?" Tobias asks Ash.

"The Infinity Gems are not found by the humans in the 9 regions because their powers are sealed and they are just like normal gems. And to activate them, we will need to do the aura transfer."

"Are you serious? Aura Transfer is dangerous! We're not going to sacrifice any aura users for the gems." Minami says.

"That's what I told Arceus." Ash says. "And it turns out that we don't really need the Aura user's transfer. We can use the Natural Aura instead."

After telling them what the nature aura transfer is, Insey says, "So all we need is to find these Infinity Gems and the Natural aura. But considering how we damage the 9-region alliance, they might not be able to attack for 6 months, we're still being targeted as well."

"Yes, and that might be a problem. That's why I plan to use Leon and Chloe as hostages." Ash says.

"Speaking of Chloe, I think I should go visit her again." Lillie says, and Ash nods as he continues to talk with his siblings about the next plan.

When Lillie arrives at Chloe's guest room, she enters because she has the key and Chloe jumps to see her enter the room.

"What? You're our prisoner and I have the right to enter a prisoner's room." Lillie says. "How did you like the view? The peaceful Sevestar Island is beautiful, right?"

Chloe shivers a little, she really hopes that she doesn't do anything that might get her killed. She says, "People said this island is small and it was easy to conquer... but it is different from what we heard."

"Ah, right. With more and more aura users being prosecuted and coming to this island, there isn't enough space for all of us to live in. That's why we use the Legendary Pokemon's help to expand the lands and eventually become a giant region for everyone to live in." Lillie says. "We also make sure that none of the military of your regions will come inside the region and attack, that's why we have forces surrounding the island to defend."

"Okay..." Chloe mutters. Lillie asks, "I also want to ask you, do you really think we Aura Users are devils? I mean if you overlook the fact that we kill to survive."

Chloe frowns and says, "Of course, I don't, but I'm scared... if we are friends with aura users, we might get ourselves killed by the people around me..."

"Yeah, it doesn't take a genius to know that the brainwash." Ash also comes in with Insey and Lillie gives him a kiss. "A-Ash..." Chloe squeaks.

"This is my sister Insey, if you don't know. And we decide to come and make sure my wife is safe." Ash says.

"You have siblings, Ash?" Chloe mutters.

Insey says, "We have five more siblings, even though Tobias is the one who will be inheriting the throne, Ash is actually the fully active Grand Aura User who can use the Rumbling."

"Rumbling..." Chloe shivers and says, "So it is true that you are going to activate the Rumbling at any moment?"

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't. It depends on how time is changing." Ash says. "So Chloe, I want to ask, how is your father doing? Is his lab still functioning?"

Chloe shakes her head and says, "Dad's Lab is already closed because you were a part of it. Goh was really mad at this and that's why he wants to kill you."

"You should be grateful that you and your family weren't killed by the government because of how I was staying with you." Ash says in a dark tone. "Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet, even Lei, they weren't that lucky compared to yours."

Chloe frowns, she has heard of the news before, and to think they would kill a one-year-old kid is making her sick. Then she realizes something. "Oh no! My Dad, my Mom! Parker! What if they find out that I was here in the Sevestar Region? What if they are killed because we help the aura users?"

Ash says, "Relax, Chloe. You don't need to worry about them. The last year that Lillie and I were traveling around the world for something that we are going to find, we managed to get to your lab and as Aura Users, we formed a protective shield so that nobody except for you guys would know where it is located."

"You did it to us?" Chloe asks.

Insey says, "Brother can be nice if you want to be, but he can also be rude if you want to be."

Chloe shivers a little since this is not the Ash that she knows a lot of years ago, this is the real Ash. Then the three of them leave Chloe alone because of the weekly gym leader meeting.
