The year is 1987 as two friends enter the Kamurocho District of Tokyo, Japan. Tales of two legendary Yakuza had made it all the way to their doors in Bwah Bwah, Bwah Bwah. One of these friends, who will call Gummy because Gummy is her name, knew that if she could only just see a specific one of these two men, she knew, she knew that her life would be changed forever.
They enter in through the usual spot, Large red neon night denoting the red light district. Seeming like any other city on the surface, but ripe with a criminal underworld. Now call it what you may, Bravery, Foolishness, A wish-fulfillment fanfic, our heroes planned to plunge feet first into this world, consequences be damned, if it could lead to a Chance Encounter with those two men they grew so fondly of.
They walk to a bar. Hard to miss. Right down the road. The sign says Serena.
"Do you think he's in there right now?" Amanda (yes, she's in this story too) asks.
"Don't know pal. You sure you're ready?"
"Yeah, no point in backing down now."
With courage, they approach the door. They pull the handle.
"It's locked. Gummy says, "What do we do?"
"Wait, Serena was supposed to be kind of exclusive right? Like, we have to know somebody? Why'd we think we could just show upp?"
The pair plummet to the curb dejectedly. The two bury their heads into the gutter. Was this trip all for nothing?
"Excuse me," A deep, velvety voice calls. The girls pan their heads up. They see gray slacks, a gray suit coat, a silky red shirt underneath, "Are you okay?"
Kazuma Kiryu. It is really him.
The two shoot up. How do you say, We came all this way to see you?
"Hi." Amanda stumbles. Gummy remains composed.
"We are looking for somebody. You can help us find him." She says.
"Who?" Kiryu Responds.
"Goro Majima."
"What?" Kiryu's eyebrow raises, what type of business could lovely looking women like these have with a guy like him, he thinks.
"Please." She insists, "It's very important."
Well, if they know him, it can't really do any harm right? They must already know the type of danger a guy like him can attract.
"He's over at the old batting cages. I can walk you there if you would like."
"No need!" Gummy exclaims, "I can find the way." She looks at Amanda, "Stay here." Gummy says. If all goes well, she really wouldn't want her around for what comes next anyway.
Gummy enters the batting cages. She hears him. She sees him. The yellow snakeskin jacket, the tight leather-looking pants that left very little (and yet just the right amount!) to the imagination. She could tell he had been here for a while. Sweat glistens off of him with every perfect swing of the bat. She falls into the door separating them. She grasps the green links of the net tightly.
Goro Majima took notice. It's hard to not take notice when a beautiful woman is eyeing ya'. In fact as he sees her, it becomes as if he and her are the only two beings in the place. But, it can never be. He puts the bat down to confront her. Better let her down gently,
"Can I help ya' with something, miss?"
Gummy considers carefully what to say, What could she possibly say to convey her true feelings? The Truth.
"I needed to meet you. I felt it was destiny pulling us together."
"That's a nice line, but unfortunately I'm not looking to meet people right now." His chest is pounding.
"Do you not feel it too?"
He did. Of course he did. But he was dangerous. A lovely looking woman like her had no business with a guy like him.
But could she?
Was he still deserving of something like this?
"You are." It is like she reads his mind, "You deserve every happiness."
He kicks open the gate and engulfs her in his strong, all encompassing embrace.
"How can you be sure?" He feels tears threatening to escape, "Don't you know the type of guy I am? Don't you know what being together like this could mean?"
"I do. And as long as I can be here like this, with you, I don't care.
I don't care."
