WARNING: Implied death by consumption in the 5th paragraph.

As he finished tearing apart Piers, he asked Harry, "Did you have fun?"

'Yes! Thank you! I didn't know Bully Hunting was this fun!' Harry chirped, 'I wasn't the one doing the searching though…' he pouts.

The Obscurus chuckled. Like how Harry could suppress him, he could suppress Harry too. Harry could suppress him back into the human body, while he could suppress Harry from using obscurus abilities. It goes both ways.

He did give Harry a taste of his ability on the second boy—Gordon, was it?—but Harry had… well… Harry merged his threads to look like a frinkin' floppy-eared puppy. A puppy! What's so scary about a puppy? Admittedly a lot, what with the puppy had "shadows" for a body, fiery green eyes, and rows of teeth.

He had to take over when Harry had the boy under their cute little paws. He spewed tentacles from the puppy's mouth and dragged the terrified boy—who was grabbing the earth like it was the boy's lifeline—into his mouth. Furthermore, he found out that consuming them was faster than siphoning the life out of them. Then he turned back into the huge four-legged monster and hunted the other two bullies.

"Bombarda!" He heard someone shout. He caught sight of whoever had said that. When he did, he was met with an explosion to his face. That was a spell! The magical had arrived. They indeed have colored souls. He jumped to the one who had cast the spell.

A witch apparated beside the wizard and cast, "Flipendo!"

He was pushed away from the duo. He fly back, away from the duo, but couldn't get a reprieve as another duo had apparated and cast an offensive spell. This continued on until he was in the center of Privet Drive. The five teams of duo magical split their task between erecting a barrier to keep the obscurus in Privet Drive and preventing the obscurus from going outside the barrier while the barrier was erected.

Those magical were heralding him! Keeping him inside! He expanded and swirled like storm clouds, further splintering the debris and a handful of the still-standing houses. He expanded until his wisps and strands touched the barrier. Wanted to see how strong the barrier was, his strands glued themselves onto any debris they touched and whorl the debris at the barrier. Not much, as massive cracks had appeared on the barrier. The magical that was keeping him from going outside the barrier supported their barrier raising friends from the outside, leaving none on the inside.

The obscurus converged in the center of the shield and blasted off to the night sky from the unclosed billboard-sized gap in the barrier top—those magical hadn't finished raising the shield due to lack of manpower. The magical stopped casting the barrier, as the obscurus had escaped. They focused on apparating along the path of the obscurus and bombarding him with spells. The obscurus flew too high for spells to hit accurately. They stopped apparating and spell casting to the obscurus's path when the obscurus had flown above the English Channel.

He soared above the sea, he didn't know which sea, but he was hopeful that he had gone in the right direction to go to Britain's closest neighbor. Be it France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, or Spain. If he was unlucky and had to travel even further, they would arrive in Iceland, Greenland, or even America.

He felt Harry nodding into slumber. On the other hand, he doesn't feel that he could go to sleep. He had the same vigor as when he had woken up as an obscurial. If he were to borrow Harry's body, would he be able to sleep? He kept going onward to any land besides Britain.
