Men Holidays felt to quick and now here I am back with another chapters sorry for the long update but let just get into the readings already since some of you were quite interested.

Chapter 2: Eclipse and Azure

(Pov Kotori)

Kotori was watching the whole event with wary expression, fearing that her brother might get caught in the fight. It was a good thing she managed to pull him back before any harm could happened to her brother. Shido had returned back to the ratatoskr ship with a long sighs, right now he was in the middle of a meeting between him, her, and the whole crew of ratatoskr. "Okay, as we all know we had a very dire situations at hand." Kotori said using commander mode now looking very serious 'Despite still looking cute' Shido giggle silently which didn't go unnoticed by her who blushes a bit before faking a cough to cover her embarrassment. "For all we know that all the spacequake was triggered by a new spirit. All of them." This make the whole crew to glance at each other in worries. "Um, I'm sorry kotori but. When you said 'All of them' are you saying there's more?" Shido asked her.

"Yes." She calmly replied. "Infact there's nine of them." Kotori said. Shido nodded understanding that there's- Wait? Nine!? "I'm sorry kotori did you just said, nine? Nine spirit?" Shido asked clearly hoping he misheard her. "Yes, did I misspoke? I believed not." Shido is having what they call, Mental crisis? He's having a hard time processing all of that and understanding them 'So I have nine spirit to date? Oh god! What happened if tohka and yoshino heard this' He's thinking a scenarios where he had to tell them why was there nine new girl in the house.

"Calm down. It's not the end of the world, yet. But at least we needed to take care of this matter seriously, we just need to identify the spirits characteristic and," She glance at shido. "Imparted it on shido's training regime." Shido looked at her with his eye widen, but before he can complained. "Reine," The tired woman nodded before pressing a button as a screen appeared. "As you can see we had two of four new spirit here." Kotori said pointing at the screen, shido looked at the two figures fighting. A girl in red shrouds holding two twin black and white blades, while the other was a girl clad in blue tight armour battling the previous girl with a glowing red spear.

"The AST already named them despite only meeting the red ones. They're were nicknamed Eclipse and Azure. As you can see eclipse here have what we presume a weapon creating Angel." The scenes change to when shido first encounter her at the construction site. "Here when shido first met her, she was using a black bow," The scene played as eclipse summoned a sword before altering it into an arrow. "And there she summoned or create a sword before what we theorized alter said sword into an arrow." The scenes continue as she knocked the arrow as it fly very fast towards shido but somehow missed.

The scenes change when Azure step into the fray. "And when azure enter the fight eclipse change from her bow to a twin black and white blade." The scenes played as azure rush towards eclipse while extension her arms backwards as a red glow appears on her hand. "And right there." Kannazuki paused the video as azure spear appeared. "That is what we presumed azures angel. This red spear." Kotori take a deep breath before digging into her pocket to take a strawberry lollipop, she unwrapped it before plopping it into her mouth. Savoring the sweet candy.

"We had no idea what their angel names were due to them manifesting them without the need to call the named of their angels. This is normal but rare, there are several cases where spirits had the ability to summoned their angel without calling the name. Or there also a possibility that those are not their true Angel but something connected to it. Angel doesn't necessarily had to be weapon, it could be illusion or miracles outside human understanding. Hermit Zadkiel is one of the example." Kotori then eyed the screen again frowning as she did so. "Which brought us to the next question. How or when did they know each other?" She snap her finger as reine played the video again.

"I thought you'll know more, afterall you are a weird archer. I mean what kinda of archer use a sword?" In the video Azure asked 'archer something' "Says from a dog that use a stick." Archer or Eclipse replied with a snarky attitude and an annoying smirks on her face that somehow make everyone (including shido) wanted to punch that smirk face of her. "As we can see here it appears both azure and eclipse actually knows each other. We could be mistaken but, Azure called eclipse 'archer'. It's either a nickname or her actual name, but eclipse here- We're just gonna call her eclipse, agree?" Everyone nodded. "Eclipse here showes a very nasty attitude by calling azure 'a dog' which of course insulting... But the thing about this interaction is that, they interacted like friends or rival which implies that, they actually knows each other before arriving into this world.

The last statement of kotori make shido and everyone think about it, shido eyes widen at his sister logic. "W-wait doesn't this mean that they're-" He was cut by kotori. "Once human? It's a possibilities but it's not confirmed yet." She closed her eyes thinking about something. "Okay that's all for the meeting, and shido." Her brother come closer to her. "What is it?" He asked 'still innocent as ever' She mused before shaking her heads. "Nothing. Just go back home and rest okay. I also believed tohka and yoshino was very worried." Kotori here somehow sounded more like an older sister than a young sister.

"Kotori nee-chan'." Kotori immediately punches his abdomen although weakly. "Onii-chan'! Baka!" Shido only laughed at his sister embarrassment.

(Pov shido)

It has been two days since the appearance of azure and eclipse, he hasn't met the other two yet much to his relief and right now he was doing something that every normal civilian does, Buying a grocery. Afterall this was a tired day 'especially after being forced to play my little shido deluxe edition that was apparently a dlc and prequel to the first game' he shakes his head before running to one of the convenience store to buy some salt and chicken since today he's gonna make yoshino favorite katsudon. On his was home he see something that he himself doubt his eyes were seeing, he take a double look to make sure he's eye was working.

"What in the-?" What he saw was his classmates. Tonomachi was walking with girl, although he could be mistaken that they're just going on the same direction but then. "Oi master, where exactly is this game center you're looking for?"'Master?' shido was confused. "I mean I don't see any store that represents what you've said." The girl was someone their age she has blue hair much like his own tie into a high ponytail making her look cute and tomboy, she has a red crimson eyes looking somewhat very excited, she was wearing a plain white tshirts and a black shorts, however since she only used a plain tshirts her big bossom was bouncing up and down making him blush while tonomachi seem to just shrugged the bouncing watermelon.

"It's just around this block Cu, jeez you never go to game center before?" Tonomachi asked while looking at the girl. "No, I usually like something more thrilling and something that cause my adrenaline to raise up!" She said smiling as she talked excitedly about her stuff. "I also had a very strict teacher." She said before suddenly shudder as a picture of a certain Immortal witch came in mind.

"Is that so?" The girl, Cu nodded. "Jeez that must been rough, shame on you me and girlfriend usually go there for our date." Tonomachi pulled out his phone showing his 2d character in maid outfit that looked like kotori. "But don't worry when we reached the game center I'll show you the best game exist in the place I'm sure some of them will also cause your adrenaline to go up." Tonomachi said whilst keep walking, shido suddenly had the urge to smacked his own head to a wall. 'Tonomachi' he deadpan at his friend straightforwardness but at the same time 'they looked like dating... there's no way, right?' "Oh there better be-" Suddenly the girl stopped abruptly causing tonomachi to also stopped. "Cu what's the matter?" The girl stopped looking at shido direction causing him to hide behind a wall and avoid her detection. "Tch, master it appears someone was following us." The girl said making shido heart beat faster 'How did she know?'

"Whoever's hiding come out now! At least don't make me come there myself." She threatens shido while still eyeing his hiding place. "Cu are you sure there's someone?" Tonomachi asked the wall she was glaring at. "Positive master, my servan- I mean senses never failed me to detect anyone with malice intent." She said while shido was sweating right now 'malice? Me?' shaking his head he prayed that she just shrugged his presence off.

(Pov Cu chulainn)

She was wary at her master safety, it wasn't because she's in debt at him or having a thing the like you're thinking. It was because he an idiot, an idiot and an honest boy. Too honest for his own good even. And right now her very existence was tied to him due to a very awkward circumstances and since he's an idiot the chances of him dying out of stupidity than being killed is higher but that doesn't mean she didn't respect the boy straightforward mind 'Unlike her previous master who is a coward' how did she meet him? What the unfortunate circumstances that make him her master? All would be answer if an unknown presence didn't intrupted her patrol.

It was a coincidence that her master was having a plan to go to a place called a game center, thanks to the grail at least informing her a bit about the modern world she at least know what it was. She offered to go together with him as bodyguard of sorts however this is a situation she didn't want to get stucked with. 'This bastard had guts I admit' She sneer at the mysterious presence that was still hiding, having enough of waiting she decided to approach the wall.

"Alright don't tell me I don't warn ya-" Before she can stepped any further an whistle fly straight to her, due to having superhuman strength and hearing she heard this and immediately backed away and picked her master up. "Cu what's going onAaahh-!" Tonomachi was being pulled so fast he was unable to complete his question. At that moment she know what it was. It was him! Or rather her this time now, glancing back to where she stood before it was an arrow imbedded into the ground. She clicked her tongue clearly knowing who is the culprit.

After some running and dragging her sorry master through the whole block she stopped behind a house, looking to her surrounding she believes it was safe enough. "Master it appears there's an enemy servants." Tonomachi immediately tense up. "Servant? Like actual legendary hero?" He asked clearly a bit nervous and scared after what she told him about heroic spirit and holy grail war and the fact that now he was tied to all of this because of an accidental kiss!

"I won't call her a hero, more of a dick." She said before smiling a reassuring smile. "And that's why I'm gonna kick hi-her ass." She smirks as her whole clothes glow and was replaced by a blue tight armour, she then summoned her spear before twirling it and looked back at his master who gaped at her look. "Master I suggest to close your mouth if you don't wanna looked like a fish." Tonomachi immediately shut his jaw and blush due to embarrassment. "Sorry, it just... you look pretty- I mean sexy- I mean gorgeous..." Cu only glare at him. "Sorry." Cu sighs before turning her back. "I suggest you go home first master, I'll came later." When she about to leap tonomachi suddenly grabbed her arm.

"Are you sure you can handle this? Then at least let me come with you!" Cu only wanted to tell him that she can handle such thing but looking into his eyes her eye soften 'Huh, don't know you had the same fire as I was'. "Master you remember what I tell you last night?" Tonomachi ponder for a moment. "That you had a weird nightmare about dying multiple times? Or the ones where you get shoved with a hundred yen in the mouth by a crazy child of a priest?" Cu smirks before letting out a laughter. "That was one of it. Like I said before human are no match for a servants let alone a boy like you," Tonomachi wanted to say that he can managed better but Cu beat him to it. "And no I'm not saying your useless but like I said before. If you die, I'll disappear." Tonomachi stopped whatever he think and sighs. "At least. At least don't do too much damages please, I don't want the police or government come knocking my door for insurance." He deadpan causing Cu to laugh. "Let me guess you need that money for your girlfriend?" Cu guessed making tonomachi huffed proudly. "Of course!" Cu smirks at his forwardness "Then you can count on me, master." This time tonomachi let his hand off her allowing her to jump onto a roof before leaping away looking for her target.

Using her servants agility she easily leaped trough building, looking to her surrounding she can still feel that red archer presence clicking her tongue she continues her searched until. "W-wait! I can explain- Guh!!" She feels the red archer presence that was mask with something, not wasting another moment she leaped there and stopped on top of a roof near a playground she found out that the place had a small bounded field, using her spear she easily tore the bounded field and walk in. Looking ahead her eyes widen as she sees the red archer stabbed a boy with blue hair with her sword, clicking her tongue she immediately summoned her spear and lunge at her surprising the archer. "Tch," She jumped backward. "I thought you don't take innocent passerby?" Cu asked while looking at the body of the boy who fell limp on the ground bleeding.

"That boy was a witnesses to a secret war, and don't looked at me like I commit a mass murder. You also did the same in the previous war." This time Cu clicked her tongue in annoyance. "Well shit. If it wasn't because of that coward priest I won't had to kill that boy, it's not like you not trying killing him as well. I know you also had some connections with the boy but this," She looked back at the boy bleeding body. "Is different." She lunges at her while archer cursed her E rank luck before tracing kanshou and byakuya. "Then so be it."

(Pov Archer)

Once again spear meet sword as they clashed once again. Both combatants now are more eager to kill each other.

Cu leaped Infront of archer sending barrages of stab and swing towards her opponent using her A agility she easily dodge and parry archer twin sword but unlike her, archer able to create or trace said sword lots of them she able to spam making Cu having a hard time dodging and attacking since archer could easily throw her sword and traced another one without a huge drawback. Afterall she has her own pro and con, she clicked her tongue as lancer easily batted away her thrown sword, it wasn't she can't hit her. Without a master she can only survived so long without doing a proper engagement against another servants, thanks to independent action at least she survived two days without the need for mana as she just enter spirit mode for saving.

"Trace Overedge" Archer sword double the size and mass, now each hit was heavier causing Cu to staggered before backing away. Seeing this archer throw her sword towards Cu, before she can shield herself the sword explode on impact making dust around her. Suddenly "Aaaaahhhh!" Looking up archer eyes widen as the boy she had stabbed somehow now fall from the sky onto her.

"Oof." Archer groan in pain opening her eyes she saw the boy was on top of her, his face was on her flat bossom while his right hand had pressed against her left boobs *squeeze* *squeeze* The boy opened his eyes and looked at what his hand was squeezing then to archer blushed face then to his hand then to her face before realizing what he has done. "Wah!! I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" A sword flew passed him. "Eek!" Archer blush was replaced with anger, at the same time her head was filled with many questions 'How did he survived? No screw that how he even looked unhurt?' in the boy clothes there's still the hole and blood from where she stabbed him but his whole body was somehow healed? 'Did the boy had Avalon or something?' However her thoughts was intrupted by a certain blue lancer.

"I'm gonna finished this archer, if you are planning to survive like last time I suggest you run!" Archer clicked her tongue as she harshly pushed the boy. "Get off me, your getting us killed!" The boy immediately stand up. "I'm sorry!" She was about to just leave him and go to spirit mode but looking behind him her eyes widen as the dust clears out, showing lancer arched her hand backwards as her spear glow bright to red and exudes a huge bloodlust that make the boy shivers in fear.

"Gae-" She pulled her hand backwards preparing to throw her spears "Bolg!" The spears was sent flying straight towards them. Seeing this archer pulled the boy down as she stands up, she closes her eyes and stretch her hands she chant her aria. "I'm the bone of my sword" A pink orb manifest before blooming turning into a six petals flower. "Rho Aias!" Due to the spear already Infront of her when she chanted her aria the spear immediately penetrate the fourth layer of Od making her shield only had three layers. Gritting her teeth she then pushed her remaining prana. "Haaaaahhhhh!" She screamed as the layer get bigger and brighter.

Archer can't hold much longer as the third layer started to shattered since she was very low at prana. She cursed to herself being unable to stopped something like this, she cursed that entity for sending her to a world she clearly doesn't know, and lastly she cursed the blue dog that will be her demise. The second layer shattered leaving only one more thin layer, she fall to her knees unable to support her body as her prana was running dry her hand felt hurt, her clothes were torn due to the massive force of gae bolg, she just wanted to close her eyes and let the spear stabbed her yet... Archer opened her eyes before standing up again. "I-i'm... not... g-gonna lose... not... before..." Her eyes started to felt heavy but she still stands and at that moment. 'Senpai?' Her eyes opened seeing a familiar purple hair girl. "S-sakura?" The last layer break.

*Boom*

An explosion occured but it wasn't from lancer spear. "All unit aimed at spirit azure!" commander ryouko command her squad to open fire at both spirit.

while this happened archer finally fall unable to hold the pain anymore 'Looks like this is where I end now... sakura... I'm sorry' But fate had other plan.

"Hey are you okay?" The boy she had stabbed asked 'You think?' She silently replied with sarcasm. "Um- God what should I do." He clearly was thinking hard. "Don't..." His eye widen at archer word. "Don't... just don't..." He shakes his head. "I'm not leaving you! Not like this!" Archer opened her eyes seeing the distraught in the boy face, he touches something in his ears as if answering someone. "Will it work?" He asked, clearly he was talking to someone with something on his ears but she couldn't care less. "Alright I'll do it, if it means saving her then I'll do it." 'Idiot what are you thinking? Don't bother saving me' It was then archer whole life flashed before her eyes.

"What... are you-" *kissed* "..." Archer was silent as she was to tired and didn't had the energy to talk back and 'What the fuc-' her mind unable to process what happened 'Did he just kissed me?' her thought was cut as the boy suddenly yelped in pain as he brings up his right hand. "What is this!?" Suddenly archer felt prana flushed through her body as she started to heals it was then that she had enough energy to see the why the boy yelped in pain, glancing at his right hand she scowled. "You gotta be kidding me." A red tattoo glow bright in the boy hand as he try to clean it but it clearly didn't worked

Suddenly her consciousness was slipping away from the fatigue and huge influx of energy coursing through her body her last words before falling unconscious was "Shit." She falls asleep as both her and the boy was envelope in bright white and disappear.

(Pov Ryouko)

An explosion occured but it wasn't from lancer spear. "All unit aimed at spirit azure!" commander ryouko command her squad to open fire at both spirit. She has received a report from origami that both spirit was engaging combat in a nearby playground, at first they doubt her words since there are no spacequake or any spirit energy detected so they decided using a small military drones to see and found out that origami words are true. Azure was battling eclipse in that place. Without another word she immediately mobilized her squadron including an angry Origami that was pissed after something unpleasant happened.

Her squadron was firing at Azure but the spirit was quicker than what they anticipated, azure easily dodge and dashed forward towards them easily cutting open their shield realizer like butter only to cut the CR and weaponry leaving them to fall down. She easily bodied and tossed them around like a ragdoll much to origami ire.

"Bastard!" She lunge at the spirit pulling out her lightsaber slashing at the spirit, it was parried easily the spirit didn't even budge and only keep looking at where the second spirit is. Looking at the direction they found nothing only dripped of blood and a burnt ground from the massive explosion, Azure clicked her tongue before kicking origami away. "I had no business with you ojou-chan, It appears that archer did pulled the same trick again, tch. Just my bad luck isn't." She turned her back against them, this of course anger both her and origami. "Don't you dare run away!" Origami shouted before lunge at her but before she can slashed the spirit, azure blurred and appears Infront of her causing origami to lost her momentum, azure then kicked her hard in the abdomen easily shattered the shield realizer making her eyes widen in shocked.

"Listen here ojou-chan I'm not in the mood for fighting now, come tomorrow and I suggest brought more people... or girl in your case if you wanted to win. For now my master worries me and I had to go." Said azure while disappearing into blue particles leaving an angry origami and a confused ryouko.

"Damnmit!" Origami shouted in frustrations while punching the ground while ryouko was left in deep thoughts 'Master? Did she just said master?' It was surreal that the same spirit that bodied and throw them around like toys actually had a master. Meaning that azure worked or worse served an even stronger spirit than her! Ryouko whole body shiver as she imagine what kinda of monster able to put a leashed on a powerful spirit like azure? She can't imagine a more terrifying spirit. 'I had to report this immediately!'

Finally! I'm done with this chapter!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand! Before you asked, yes. Heroic spirit needs master to survive and I had remodeled the servants-master bond by kissing...

Don't blame me, blame the grimace for messing my mind.
