Haruhi curled in her lips, resisting the urge to hit the accusing finger that was pointing in her direction. "F-F-Female?!" Tamaki stuttered. "Just how long have you been deceiving us?"

"It's not that I was deceiving you. You just never asked," Haruhi responded calmly. "It's not my fault that you made an assumption."

"Still! That would have been a good thing to tell us before we recruited you!" Tamaki stuttered. "Oh my heart... Oh my soul... Hold me mommy..." he said dramatically as he reached out for Kyoya.
Kyoya's only response was to take the handle's of Tamaki's chair and give him a little push so he was sent rolling away.

"You knew all this time though, didn't you Kyoya? Why didn't you say anything?" Haruhi asked him.

"For the same reason as you I suppose. No one cared to ask," Kyoya said, smirking behind his mask. "Now that the secret is out however, what shall we do about it?"

"Well, she still owes us for the vase she broke," Hikaoru point out as he joined them on the sofas, holding Kaoru's hand. "And we already introduced her to the girls."

"Yeah! So, it wouldn't make sense to back out now!" Hunny point out as he polished off the cake on his plate, before handing the empty plate to Mori to put back in the kitchen. "The girls would be wondering why Haru-Chan isn't here anymore!"

"Quite right!" Tamaki said as he wheeled himself back. "Hm. As much as I don't like the idea of a girl hosting with us...I suppose we don't have a choice. Therefore, it's time for operation, Keep Haruhi's Identity A Secret! KHIAS for short!"

"Whatever you say boss," Hikaoru snort. "You know this might not be a good long-term solution, right?"

"I have spoken!" Tamaki declared, thrusting a finger in the air, as though he were a king making a declaration. Though, in his mind, he may as well be a king Haruhi supposed... "We'll have to make a few changes in order to help keep that secret a secret, but I'm sure we can manage!"

"As long as there's nothing in these changes that'll stop me from getting my degree, do whatever you want," Haruhi sighed. "Club's over right? Can I go home now?"

"Well, now may be the perfect time to get your act down! The 'new guy' appeal will only last for so long," Tamaki mulled. "Let's see..."

"I don't see why I need one though. Can't I just be...me?" Haruhi asked unsurely.

"Oh of course of course! But, that alone won't do a thing!" Tamaki insisted. "Let's see...you picked up this role as a Host pretty fast, and you're showing me that you can adapt...I've got it! you're the natural type!" he grinned.

"Um...alright. Whatever," Haruhi sighed. "Now are we done?"

"Almost," Kyoya said, muffling a wet cough with his mask. "As members of the Host Club, we are all very personally involved with one another, and spend a fair amount of our days together. So it's important that we are able to accommodate and assist as needed," he explained. "Therefore, if there are any restrictions that we should know of that will prevent you from attending or assisting with club activities, then we do need to know."

"That's right rookie!" Tamaki grinned. "We're a family here! And family helps family!"

"I'm sorry, but I don't really think that's any of your business!" Haruhi frowned.

"So, you'd rather we just put your life at risk?!" Tamaki gasped. "Absolutely not! We shan't take that risk!"

"In order to be a part of this club, which is not optional in your case, we need to make your safety our first priority," Kyoya said. "You don't have to tell us a thing, but we do have access to your IEP and your MET, which will list all of your accommodations and your needs. So, it's up to you."

"How do you have access to something like that? That's not a part of my medical records!" Haruhi frowned. But when Kyoya only smiled in return, she knew there was nothing more she could say. So, she fold her arms and sighed angrily. "I...I can do most of anything you're able to do. I just need to take breaks and drink plenty of water. I have emergency medicine in case I need it. I need to see the doctor once every two weeks so I'll miss out on club activities every now and again. I hope that's not too inconvenient for you," Haruhi said sarcastically.

"Not at all. Most of us are out of school several days a month for therapies, doctors, and other such things. This is a special needs school Haruhi. So, ironically enough, your needs aren't exactly special here," Kyoya chuckled.

Haruhi kept her arms folded, feeling irritated. "So, there really are no secrets here, are there?" she said.

"Not really," Hikaoru laughed. "So you'd better get used to it!"

"Fine fine," Haruhi huffed. "I'm leaving now."

"We can walk you, if you want!" Hikaoru offered with a grin.

Haruhi was reluctant as she stared. "I think I'd rather go on my own," she said bitterly.

Hikaoru smiled, and turned to his brother, who was looking elsewhere. "Kaoru," he said as he let go of his hand. "Go hold Haruhi's hand!"

"No, hold on," Haruhi frowned. But, Kaoru easily took Haruhi's hand and held it tight. Haruhi tried to tug away, but she wasn't going anywhere... "Ugh..."

"Let's go!" Hikaoru smiled as he took Haruhi's other hand. "See ya!" he waved.

"Wait, I wanna do it!" Tamaki called, trying to wheel after them. But, the twins stepped out the door with Haruhi and slammed the club door behind them. And a moment later, there was a thud, indicating that Tamaki had run into the door with his chair...

"Doofus," Hikaoru smirked as he walked with Haruhi. "So, how do you get home?" he asked.

"Well, I'm supposed to walk home," Haruhi said. "But dad insisted to pick me up for the first few days instead."

"Lame," Hikaoru snort. "You don't have a limo or anything?"

"What do you think?" Haruhi frowned.

"Sorry," Hikaoru chuckled. "Soooo...why are you locked in here huh?" he asked with a grin. Ugh. Haruhi thought she wouldn't have to hear that stupid question anymore. The 'what's wrong with you,' question...

"Why are you?" she snapped back.

"Guess~" Hikaoru asked.

"...chronic stupidity," she frowned.

"Ouch. You know, some people might consider that pretty ablest Haruhi!" he laughed. When she raised a brow, he continued. "Kaoru and I both have autism~"

"Autism?" she asked. She took a moment to look at Kaoru first. Well, when she took a good look at him, she supposed that made sense. It would explain the tablet he always seemed to have with him. Maybe that was why he wasn't wearing his uniform jacket either. Did he not like it? It would also explain why he hadn't said a single word since she had met him, and why he hardly seemed to look at her. He always seemed to be looking elsewhere, and was currently making a soft popping sound with his lips. Yes, it was pretty obvious that he was Autistic, now that she got a better look at him. But, when she looked at Hikaoru... Well, she didn't really see it. He looked at her for the most part (Though his eyes were usually focused on her chin, or he would otherwise avert his eyes after awhile.) He was speaking to her very clearly, and casually, he was pretty independent in the classes she had with him. The two of them were very different, even as Hikaoru said with a laugh, "Never met a pair of twins with Autism before?"
Hm..

"What's up?" Hikaoru asked.

"Nothing, it's just..." Haruhi hesitated. "Well. You don't really look Autistic."

When she saw his face fall, she frowned too. "Did I say something wrong?"

"Uh...forget it," Hikaoru frowned.

"I'm sorry. I don't really know a lot about Autism..." she said.

"Yeah, that much was obvious," Hikaoru snort as he walked her to the door. "You can wait by yourself, right?"

"Y-Yeah, but..." Haruhi frowned. "I'm really sorry, I can see you're upset. You don't have to spare my feelings, you can tell me if I said something wrong."

"It's just..." Hikaoru huffed as they walked down the pathway to head towards the road where the limos would be waiting. (Or in Haruhi's case, a car..) "People like to compare me to my brother all the time. Like just because I can talk and he can't, I don't need any support. Same goes for him. People think that just because he can't talk without a tablet, that he isn't competent. It's annoying," he scoffed.

"Oh. Yeah, that does sound like it would be annoying to hear all the time," Haruhi admit. "I'm sorry."

"Whatever," Hikaoru frowned. "Don't worry about it, I guess."

Haruhi sighed, feeling guilty. She knew how annoying it was to get all the assumptions when it came to having a disability. People thinking she was using it as an excuse so that she didn't have to do hard work. Or, the assumptions would be on the opposite end, with people thinking she had to be kept under a close eye, and couldn't do anything for herself.
However, both of those assumptions couldn't be farther from the truth. She wanted to do what everyone else did. She didn't want accommodations. She hated that she was sick, and hated when people only saw her for the things she couldn't do...

"No, you're right, I shouldn't have said it. I won't say it again okay? And...if something like that comes up again, you can always tell me if I said something wrong. I won't be upset about it," she assured Hikaoru.

"Well...alright," he nodded. At least she seemed to be genuinely apologetic. He couldn't be too mad.. "Does your dad know you're coming?"

"I texted him as soon as club ended," Haruhi told him. He should be-"

HONK HONK

"Haruhiiiii!" Came her father's shrill voice from the pick up area. He happily pressed down on the horn a few times before leaning out of the car window and waving at her, grinning widely. "Daddy's here!" he called happily.

Haruhi groaned in return. Oh dad...
As he lay his hand on the horn again, she felt both twins letting go of her hands. Looking up, she saw that both boys had their hands pressed against their ears. Hikaoru managed a little smirk at her humiliation, but Kaoru was actively groaning. "I guess this is where we'll see you off," Hikaoru smiled.

"Yeah, I guess. I'm sorry about my dad..." Haruhi sighed.

"Nah. That's just how dads are i guess," Hikaoru smiled. "But...if he could go easy on the horn, that would be great.."

"Yeah.." Haruhi blushed. "Dad! Dad!" she called to him. But he only called back her name with glee.

Kaoru shrieked as he pressed down on the horn once again. And, he turned and ran back to the school. "Oops! Gotta go Haruhi, bye!" Hikaoru called, before running off after his brother. (And away from the noise.)

Haruhi shook her head and head towards the car. "Hey dad..."

"Hello my darling!" Ryoji grinned, watching her slide into the back seat. "How was school?"

Haruhi had to think about that for a moment. Well, at first, she had almost written off this day as a terrible one, and the end to her peaceful school life. But, she supposed that twins hadn't been so bad at the end. And, Mori had kept to himself, so she already considered him to be not bad either. The others were...well, they would take some getting used to, not that she had a choice. She looked out the car window, and back at the school. It could have been a lot worse. Then again, it could have been better too. Finally, she sighed and turned back to her dad.

"It sure was something alright."
