Chapter 5: The Trigger
A/N: Hey! Sup? How's it going? This chapter was more challenging to write than the previous ones, but I think it was absolutely worth It. Anyway, let me know what you think so far in your review.

*Spencer's POV*
I slowly start to feel my body again. I can feel my head aching so badly, maybe because of the rock 'A' hit me with. I can also feel my hands tied behind my back, not very well tied up. 'I think I could easily undo this knot. Maybe they tried to do it quickly.' After some time of thinking, I started to feel cold in my legs and feet. I quickly open my eyes, only to see that I'm not wearing anything other than my underwear on my bottom half, and in the rest of my body, I have my white blouse. I start to freak out, but 'A's' automated voice stops me.
"I see you're awake now." 'A' said.
I quickly raise my glare to see my attacker in the eye. But unfortunately, they are wearing a black mask covering their face, in addition to the voice distortion device.
"Too shy to show your face?" I asked with a smirk, trying to sound as confident as I could, even though this situation scared me to death.
"Oh, Sorry for my rudeness," they spoke refined, taking their mask off slowly to show me their face.
"You don't look that surprised." 'A' said with a feminine voice that matched their face perfectly, reaffirming my theory of their Identity.
"That's because I already knew," I said with the same smirk I wore before. They first looked surprised but quickly hid it.
"Of course, you knew," she said, slapping her forehead. I quickly started to see my surroundings looking for any possible way to escape. I quickly noticed that my legs hadn't been tied up this entire time, and I also had my high heels still on.
"Why did you take off my clothes?" I asked, trying to avoid her suspicions of me trying to escape.
"Just preparation in case you're not willing to tell me what I need," she said, smirking darkly, which for a moment worried me, but I tried to ignore it.
"What could that possibly be?" I said, starting to get tired of her riddles.
"Don't play dumb, Spencer," She started with the same smirk she had, "Where are my "Room one" Files?" she said, changing to a grim glare.
"Those files could get my friends in a lot of trouble. What on earth? Would make you think I'd tell you where they are?" I spoke frankly.
"Well, if you want to do it the easy way, we'll do it the hard way," she said as she turned on her heel, fading into the dark room.
I only heard a kind of lever activating before a massive bucket of ice water fell over me.
"Oh, my gosh. What the hell?!" I said with my voice trembling from the cold.
I quickly looked up to see she held a Taser in her right hand. Seeing it, I started to freak out, knowing what she was about to do. She quickly put it on my bare leg skin and turned it on, making me scream as hard as I'd ever cried in my whole life. Then, I looked up, pleading to any god in the sky to make her stop.
After a few more seconds, the torture stopped, removing the Taser from my leg.
"Rady to talk?" she asked. With tears in my eyes and my lips trembling, I hesitantly nodded.
"Good girl," she said, placing her right hand on my left cheek. I shyly turned my head down away from her touch.
"Now, tell me, where did you hide them?" She said, sounding kind and evil at the same time.
"They're in Alison's bracelet I gave her for her birthday," I started. "It isn't a normal bracelet; it's a drive with the files inside it. The rest was burned to ashes," I said, defeated.
Then she got as close as she could to my face and whispered to me:
"I hope for your friend's best interests you're telling me the truth," she warned me.
By saying that, she lifted herself and turned on her heel, leaving the room.
As soon as she left, I couldn't control myself and started sobbing loudly. 'I'm so sorry, guys. I couldn't handle it. I screwed up. I gave her all of your secrets. But I will make this right. I have to.' Although my sobs weren't that loud, I didn't manage to hear when 'A' entered the room again.
"Spencer, don't cry. You'll only make the next part harder than it should be," she said, sounding... 'Sad, caring, almost hopeless. What the hell?'.
I quickly raise my head only to be greeted with a gun pointing at my head.
"What? No, no, no, no. I told you everything! I didn't lie!" I said with pure terror in my voice.
"Oh, C'mon, Spencer, don't tell me you thought. I was going to let you go. You know way too much," she said. "You are supposed to be the smart one, Spence." She said, mocking me.
Then she placed her right thumb over the gun lock and clicked it getting ready to shoot.
Seeing that, I quickly push up with my legs making the chair lift backward. Then I raise my legs and kick 'A' hard on the stomach.
After all this time, while talking to her. I managed to untie the rope that held my hands. So, I quickly lifted myself from the chair and ran to the door behind me, opening it and running away into the hallways.

*General POV*
After running into the labyrinthic hallways for some minutes, Spencer ended up in a dead-end hallway with some boxes and files, which made it look like some storage room. "No, no, no... please, no, please, no..." Spencer said, placing her hands on the wall and pleading for it not to be true.
"You have nowhere to run anymore, Spencer," 'A' said with her mask and distorter voice device on again. Then she reached for the gun from her back and pointed at me.
"Wait! Please don't do it. I swear I won't tell anyone." Spencer said with desperation in her tone.
"I can't trust you." 'A' said, aiming the gun again.
"Wait! You can't kill me." Spencer started, "If you do, it will be too obvious someone killed me. The police won't take too long to trace the gun," she said, trying to convince 'A' with anything she could think of.
Spencer regained her hope when 'A' considered what Spencer said, lowered the weapon a bit, "un-aiming" it. But it faded away when she reaffirmed the grip on the gun and placed her index finger on the trigger.
"NO!" Spencer shouted as she tried to reach for the gun with her hands. But before she could even move a bit, 'A' lowered the weapon changing her aim and shooting at Spencer's leg.
As soon as the bullet penetrated Spencer's skin, she screamed harder than when she was being electrocuted with a taser as the pain started to feel in her left leg. She then lost balance and fell on her knees, placing her hands on the wound, attempting to ease the pain.
'A' quickly lifted her hand, striking Spencer's head with the Firearm she held.
After hitting hard on the floor because of 'A's' strike on her head, she started to feel warm liquid pouring from her head, which she assumed was blood. That was the last thing she could think before everything went black.
