American Dragon Up! Season 01 Episode 09
01 The group had all been in class dealing with studdies and other stuch stuff with Billie writing something on the board while explaining it to the class how exactly it worked. She'd then picked up her teacher's guide and began to speak saying "Alright class, now for your assignment I want a short story about your real life hero. It can be a truthful story, or it can be a work of fiction but the hero you chose must be a real life person." they'd then heard the bell ring and so everyone left to go home for the day.
02 Jake had gone over to his grandpa's shop and his grandfather Lao Shi seemed irritated "Jake you must hurry and clean the shop before Concelor Chang gets here for inspection." however Jake responds "Ya, I don't really care what that blowhard has to say, I'mma do things my way regardless of if she likes it or not." Fu Dog however says "That blowhard happens to be coming here with information on the Dark Dragon do not get on her bad side we'll never here the end of it." with a sigh however Jake simply shrugs his shoulders saying "Whatever."
03 We then see that Councelor Chang had come in and began to inspect around the shop however Jake tells her "Alright give us the information, the sooner you tell us the sooner you can leave." which she responds to by saying "I see Lao Shi has failed to teach you proper respect for the Dragon Council." which just annoys him more. "Oh no I got respect for the Council, I just ain't got no respect for you. Now cough up the info and get out." with Lao Shi saying "JAKE! You must learn to control your attitude more."
04 Sighing Jake says "Sorry grandpa." with Chang then saying "Our sources tell us there is a troll that has been in contact with the Dark Dragon amongst the sewers below and have reason to believe the Dark Dragon has been using them to get around unnoticed by the council." Jake however says "You really are dumb Chang, I know that Troll, his name is Fred. He doesn't even live in the sewers." this just made Chang even more angry at him calling her stupid but Jake just continues on saying "This Tunnel however is under my school."
05 "Jake stay and clean up the shop, Chang and I must go to prepare for what is to come." Lao Shi tells him which just annoys Jake more but he does as they say. "Man, Grandpa is really up tight." Jake states once they were gone Fu Dog however says "Y'know he wasn't always like that. come with me it's about time you learned a little more about your gramps." taking him to where there were some books with Fu stating "Every magical animal guardian must make detailed reports and keep them in these journals."
06 He then opens up one of them and a magical display appeared as if they could sit there and watch it with Fu Dog saying "China nineteen seventy-two the year your Gramps and I met." and we then focus on what's going on with the story playing out in front of Jake. Fu had been preforming a song and been caught stealing by a large troll and saying "Please don't hurt me." though they stated "It's not my job to hurt you, it's his." and we see Gramps in a seventies Disco attire with black hair and a terrible moustache as he opened his shirt asking "Which one of you Groovie Babies called for a Dragon?" while showing off.
07 "Groovy babies, Ugh talk about Lame." Jake says and you could hear him shuddering from it though Fu answers "Hey it was the style back then, now back to the story." we then get the story continuing after having appeared to be on pause when Jake had spoken. "So anyway truth is Lao Shi had be beat in his Dragon form and he'd returned the items that I'd stolen from them, I'll uh try to remove the slang as best I can so it's not so terrible to the kids of your generation." Fu then stated while letting the story play out again.
08 "Well I'd tried to get Lao Shi to let me join him but uh he was that loner type. But that day was also when he first met Chang, I'll spare you the details of the flirting because even remembering it happening make me wanna barf." Fu then told them with Jake then saying "Thanks Fu, so what happened next?" to which Fu then let everything continue saying "So the next thing they were leaving together, turns out she was actually there for Lao Shi wanting his help." and it cuts to them sitting alone together in a booth.
09 "The world Dragon Council believes that the Dark Dragon has returned and wants you to try to track him down before he destorys humanity." the younger Chang had told Lao Shi who complains saying "You really know how to kill a mood." Chang however says "He's been spotted here in Hong Kong but so far our sources have turned up nothing." that's when Fu from the past had come in saying "No problem we're on the case." However Lao Shi says "There is no we, No friends, No family, No problems." and turned into dragon form crashing into a bilboard.
10 Jake says "Ooh, that's gotta hurt." which Fu says "Ya so after I peeled him off of the board he agreed to let me tag along. We'd found someon who might know something and turns out they were a half spider like Veronica. They'd agreed to have a Dance battle to decide." we then see the spider guy dancing and the girls starting to swarm around him after he was done, however Lao Shi says "Put on some shade I'm about to Light up the Dance Floor." and Jake interrupts again saying "Wait so stick in the mud Grandpa actually Danced the Disco?"
11 "Oh Kid he set the place on fire with those moves.. literally. They'd had to use extinguishers to put out the flames after that we'd been told where to find him." Fu responds and then we see them on a boat with Lao Shi saying "Alright Fu and I will check the Stern." but Chang had suggested "Why don't you check the Cargo and I'll check the Stern." with Lao Shi shrugging saying "Alright." and so they'd gone down to the cargo area and the Dark Dragon appears behind them along with his Shadow Creatures while laughing.
12 The Dark Dragon then says "Chineese Dragon, I've been expecting you." and the two began to fight however someone had ambushed Fu Dog from behind and he'd been knocked out. "I don't know how he did it but your Gramps had defeated the Dark Dragon by the time I came to. After that he had become different, much more serious like he is today." Jake then pauses to think about this while Fu shut the book and has a thought. "Wait, if Chang was the one suggesting that they check out the Cargo.. She's working for the Dark Dragon. We gotta go help Gramps."
13 "You got good instincts Kid, I didn't put that together in almost thirty years. Let's go." Fu then states and they run out of the store together with Jake making a call as he does so. Jake had gone with Fu down to the Sewers where they'd seen Lao Shi was calling from a net "It's a trap Run." though Jake calls "I'm not leaving you." The Dark Dragon then appeared saying "How Noble of you." however Fu goes to say something and was knocked out by Chang again which Jake questions saying "Why, I thought you cared about Magical Creatures."
14 Chang responds "I do, we used to rule this world until the Humans forced us into hiding." and the Dark Dragon says "Join us and we will create a magical army to overthrown the humans." wanting Jake to join their cause. Jake however says "That's not happening. See I got an army of my own both Magical and Human, even some Extra terrestrial too." which makes the Dark Dragon laugh and lean down towards Jake asking "Where exactly is this Army of yours then?" and something tapps him on the shoulder he looked up to see a white winged creature, Cherit, who'd blasted him in the face with energy.
15 "Dragon Fist!" Harrison and Den both spoke appearing seemingly from thin air both punching Chang and sending her crashing against the wall before she could do anything and when she'd tried to change into Dragon form Ship had appeared in Turret form blasting at Chang and repeatedly striking her rapid fire. Haley appears saying "Stay away from MY family." blasting Chang with fire as she does so. Trixie and Spud meanwhile were using high powered flashlightls to wave at the shadow creatures making them vanish.
16 The Dark Dragon had roard out in anger and tried to attack but Jake had slammed into them flying at high speeds and sent them flying backwards as we see Albedo in the form of Fourarms and had the hands of his upper arms clapsed together as he'd swung hum knocking the Dark Dragon into the air and knocking them for a loop. Jake had freed Lao Shi who'd changed into Dragon form leading the Dark Dragon into the open where they'd continued their fight into a construction yard.
17 Cujo had appeared in his attack dog form and bit the Dark Dragon by the tail shaking and waving him around violently before letting go sending him over to Jake and Lao Shi who were both in their dragon forms. When both of them had Knocked him upwards Danielle appeared in Ghost form saying "Hi." before then unleashing her Ghostly Wail sending the Dark Dragon crashing into some explosives and causing the site to come down on top of him. Jake then says "It's time to end this once and for all." blasting the rubble and whatnot on top of him with fire and setting off the fuses of the explosives making them go up in a ball of fire.
18 The others had appeared with Chang in the Sphinx Hair net that Lao Shi had been in previously looking annoyed and Fu Dog had gotten up questioning "What happened?" with Jake saying "He's gone Fu, went out with a ball of fire." Chang however was trying to Struggle saying "The Council will never believe"OH but we will."" she'd began to say but was cut off as we see the other council members were watching the whole thing. "You Jake have good instincts on who to trust. You've made a wise decision on who you trust the secret of Dragons with, and we thank you, all of you for helping to defeat the Dark Dragon once and for all." The Ice Dragon Councilman spoke thanking them all for their help.
