Shego reached up to his face and squeezed his cheeks. "You know, this body is kind of cute when you're angry." She batted her eyelashes, and she smirked at him while she leaned her body closer to his. Well- not his body- but still Drakken, nevertheless. Her flirtatious advances toward him in hopes of forgiveness did nothing to subside his anger.
"Shego! I want my body!" He shoved her away, and she couldn't help herself from pouting. He can't be immune to my tactics yet, she thought. He hasn't known me long enough for the flirting not to work.
She tried again, only this time, she cupped his cheek with her hand. She looked him up and down before meeting his eyes and putting on the best innocent look she had. "We'll get it back, Doc. And when we do," she leaned in to whisper in his ear, "Imagine the possibilities."
He grabbed her hand and pulled it away from his face. "Shego! If I don't get my body back, you will rue the day." She flinched as his grip on her wrist got tighter. He noticed the shift in her demeanor, and let her go slowly, but his eyes were still fuming at her. He leaned closer to her-his forehead almost touching hers- but his intentions were not flirtatious like hers had been. He was angry. Angrier than she had ever seen him. "Shego," he whispered, oddly calm. "Get me my body or else." He turned away from her and stormed off, leaving her out of breath.
Okay, so she fucked up. In her defense…. Well she really didn't have an excuse. That teen and her stupid sidekick had outsmarted her. And while she may have held back on her combat use when fighting Kim (I mean, she didn't actually want to hurt a kid, not that she would ever tell Drakken that), she didn't intend on Kim taking Drakken's body with her. Shego ran a hand through her hair, and sighed deeply. She was going to have to steal the body back. All she could do was hope that Possible was stupid enough to keep the professor in her house.
…
It was 2pm when Shego arrived in Middleton, which meant the Possible home should be empty. Well, empty except for the professor that resided in Drakken's body. She had gone out on a limb and assumed the professor was here, but she wasn't actually sure. She shrugged as she reached the Possible home. There's only one way to find out.
The front door, while obviously locked, had no chance against Shego's plasma. She melted the doorknob off, and then reached her hand in the hole to unlock the deadbolt. When she heard the click, she slowly creaked open the door.
The TV was on in the living room. Someone was home. She glanced around the living room, taking in the sight of the Possible house. It was nothing fancy, which surprised her when she took into account how much money the Possible's probably made (Shego was fairly certain that a brain surgeon mother and rocket scientist father equaled money). She walked toward the hallway, catching a glimpse of the pictures on the wall- Kim and the Twins. Proud parents. I wonder what that feels like . She hated herself for thinking it, but she couldn't help herself. Her parents were never awful per say- just dead. She briefly wondered what her life would be like if her parents had survived.
Footsteps snapped her out of her thoughts, and she pushed her body against the wall in the hallway, so she could see the living room, but someone in the living room couldn't see her. The man was mumbling to himself (much like Drakken would), and she recognized that voice immediately. She smirked. So Possible was stupid enough to store her fugitive at her own house.
The professor's talking stopped when he noticed the door open. His eyes widened when he saw the melted knob on the ground. Shego's grin got wider as she watched him register who was in the house. The professor backed away from the door, and then made a run for the back entrance in the kitchen. Before he could make it, Shego ran and flipped over him, blocking the back door. "Going somewhere, professor?"
"Uh, I- I don't-"
His clear fear of her filled her with joy. "Look pal, I don't want to hurt my boss' body, so chill. I just need you to come with me so that we can switch you two back."
His face lit up slightly. "That's all you're going to do?"
She nodded. "After the switch, you're free to go."
He paused for a minute before nodding slowly. He took a step toward her, and just as she was about to grab him, another familiar voice filled the air. "Not so fast, Shego."
Shego growled in frustration and ignited her hands. "I'm so not in the mood for this, princess." Kim pushed the professor out of the way, and Shego went straight for her. She'd been holding back on Possible before, but not this time. Drakken needed his body back, and not even the princess is going to get in the way of that.
Kim went for a kick, but Shego grabbed her foot and swung her across the room. The professor tried to escape, but Shego was too fast for him. She pushed him against the wall and lit her hand up. "I don't want to hurt Dr. Drakken's body, but I will if I have to. Do you understand me?" He gulped and nodded slowly.
Before she knew it, Kim was at her again. Shego pushed her, but Kim had a grip on Shego's arm, and they both went tumbling. They wrestled on the floor for a minute, but Kim kicked her stomach, forcing her to crutch. Kim got up, and ran toward the professor, but didn't make it before green plasma hit her back, paralyzing her to the ground.
Shego sprung up off the floor quickly, and ran toward the professor. She grabbed his arm and tugged so hard that he had to follow her. "So long, princess," she chuckled.
….
"Well done, Shego." Drakken said as he examined his own body that was tied to a chair. The professor tried to speak, but his voice was muffled by the duct tape on his mouth.
Shego shrugged. "You're lucky he's not dead with all that blabbing he did on the ride here."
Drakken waved her off. "You can kill at another time, Shego. Right now, I want my body back." He grinned at the man as his eyes grew wide at the evil man.
It took less than 15 minutes to get the brains of the professor and Dr. Drakken back to normal. Drakken looked down. He touched his face. He felt the scar. "Yes! It feels good to be back!"
Shego snorted. "Yeah yeah, Dr. D. You're back in your blue body. Can we get back to the plan here?"
"Arh, Shego! You never let me have any fun!" Drakken stomped his foot and crossed his arms.
Shego rolled her eyes at him. "Well, we would all have a little bit more fun if you would get to the point."
Drakken suddenly grinned, recognizing the point she was trying to make. "Oh Shego, you are so impatient. You can have your fun with him later," he gestured toward the professor, whose eyes once again grew wide. Drakken turned toward him and ripped the tape off his mouth. "Now professor, I need a favor from you."
The professor struggled in the chair but eventually gave up trying to squirm out of the ropes. "She said I could leave once we switched bodies."
Shego laughed as she filed her nails. "And you believed me. That was rich!" Drakken glanced at Shego, impressed with her tactics.
"Now Professor, you can go, as soon as you show me how to use the Neutralizer." Drakken said, keeping his eyes in contact with him.
"Uh, and what happens if I don't?" he asked nervously.
Drakken grinned. "Well you see, Shego over there has a bit of a temper as I'm sure you've noticed." Drakken turned around to grab a chair and pushed it, so that he could sit directly across from the professor. "Now, between you and me, I'm not much of a killer, but Shego not only will enjoy watching you die, she'll make sure you suffer first. So I would suggest that we do as I ask, and no one has to get hurt. Sound good?"
The professor looked from Drakken to Shego, who was still filing her nails but smirked at Drakken's words. He met Drakken's eyes again and gulped. "I really, uh, I don't actually know how to work it."
Drakken's eyes grew wide. "What?!"
The professor gulped again. "I just guarded it. I don't actually know what it does."
Drakken groaned in frustration. "Arg! Shego!"
She was hunched over, laughing. "You went through all of that, and he doesn't even know how to work it!" She laughed so hard tears had begun forming in her eyes, but she couldn't stop herself.
"Shego!" Drakken's anger was so clear that it caused her to shut her trap. A devilish grin grew upon his face. "Shego," he said much more calmly. "Finish him."
Her hands ignited. "With pleasure."
…
Possible and Company did show up, which made Shego's pushing of the professor to his death off the balcony so much sweeter. Kim and Ron spent so much time trying to save the professor (a useless waste of time, if anyone would have asked Shego) that it was easy for her and Drakken to escape.
They spent their night moving into yet another new lair, but once their things were settled, she poured both of them a glass of wine. "Here, you probably need it," she said as she handed the glass over to him.
He thanked her with a smile and took the glass from her. Before he took a sip, he stretched his arm out, clicking his glass with hers. "Cheers to victory."
"Doc, you didn't even get to use the Neutralizer," she stated, confused at his sudden happiness.
"No, but I did get my body back. And you! My oh my, did you deliver today. I'd call that a victory, no matter how small."
She smirked. "Cheers to victory," she whispered as they both chugged their wine. It was silent for a moment before she spoke again. "Hey Dr. D?"
"Hmm?"
"For what it's worth, I'm glad you're back in your body."
He grinned, teasingly. "But I thought the other body was cute when I was angry?" He lightly shoved her, and she giggled.
Nah, she thought. This body was much better.
