"Don't they look beautiful?" I whisper to my partner, Cat Noir, blowing into a hankie. Felix and Kagami have invited us to their wedding which is being held in Kagami's home country of Japan. I love all the bridesmaid's dresses and Kagami's pretty white gown, my fingers itching to do some sewing for I dream of being a fashion designer one day.

"I think a Cat suit with a golden bell is much more comfortable then a tux. Though I've spent plenty of time in them." I grin. "Why dosen't that surprise? You could give the girls of Paris a dimple smile and they would all faint at your feet." "There's only one girl I've ever had my eyes set on. And that's you, Ladybug." Those warm green eyes make it hard to look away. "Cat, I-" Gone are the days I push him away for fear of reavealing my identity to him. "Ladybug, you can't deny you have feelings for me."

Before I can answer, the cemenory is over and get in line to congratulate Felix and Kagami. "Its so good to see you both again. How's the traveling life treating you?" Kagami smiles, looping her arm through Felix's. "Just wonderful. Though Felix is always on the hunt for the perfect old liabary or bookstore to buy and repair." Cat nudges me. "Bugaboo here couldn't stop staring at the clothing. You couldn't see she wasn't a tiny bit jealous." I laugh, giving him a playful shove. "I'll get there someday."

Speeches and are made, and then Felix raises his wine glass. "Let the dancing and feasting begin!" I love the meal, so simple but elegant. Roasted chicken, rice pilaf, vegetables swimming in butter. And a chocolate cake that makes your mouth water just thinking about it. I only have wine at very special occasion and I have a glass of white then red.

Then I'm whisked onto the dancefloor, Cat pulling me into his arms. I let go of everything tonight: worries, cares, fears. Cat's hands are sure but firm, making sure I never fall. A slow dance comes on, and we pause. The wine is kicking in and I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. "Don't you know how purr-ty you are?" he jokes. "First pun of the night," I smile. "First of many, love."

A couple dancing besides us is talking about chilled wine in a cellar, and the thought of a cold drink makes my lips feel parched especially since how long we've been dancing. Cat leans forward and whispers in my ear. "Shall we try to find the hidden cellar?" I feel adventurous and nod. Cat takes my hand and leads me from the party room, the laughter and music diminishing as we leave it behind.

A wooden door that's marked "Wine Cellar" looks old and I take a step back. "Looks more like a dugeon then a cellar." Cat brushes his fingers against my cheek. "Don't worry, love. We're together and we're completely safe."

The door opens with a complaining creak. Cat leads me by the hand, and the deeper we go, the cooler and darker it gets. Barrels line each section, and Cat points to a table with some items and a note on it.

"Have fun you two, and enjoy the wine!"

Felix and Kagami

"How did they-Cat?" "Yes?" Cat turns to me with innocent smile and hands me my glasses. Mm, the wine down here is even better then upstairs and I giggle at the little bubbles. We clink glasses. "Cheers."

Its cozy down here, and after the wedding, its good to be alone. I hop up on the table. "Do you think they'll miss us?" I ask, setting my glass on a nearby shelf and swing my feet. Cat brushes his nose against mine. "The note said to have fun down did it not?" His tempting lips press to mine, like a addicative drug and I can't say no. I tangle my hands through his fluffy mane, scraching the back of his head with my nails. Cat hisses out a little sound of pleasure, and I'm feeling very warm. "Ever wonder what's under my suit?" I whisper, my voice low. "Clothes, I hope." I roll my eyes as he grins then places his hands on my thighs. "All the time?" I lay back on the strong wooden table. "Would you like to find out, here? Tonight?" "Are asking me…" I nod.

The wine cellar is dimly lit but Cat finds the light switch which plunges us into complete darkness. Instead of feeling scared, my heartbeat quickens as I drop my transformation. I know Cat has his night-vision, but I'm not worried at the moment.

He finds the zipper at the back of my dress and I wonder why its the sounds I remember best the first time we have sex. My dress comes away in his arms, and he hangs it on one of the barrels as I unhook my bra and toss it into the darkness. I let him pull down my panties, wanting him, wanting him so badly.

I can hear his clothes falling and rustling like leaves in autumn. Then he climbs up and hovers above me. "You sure, My Lady?" "Yes." Some hair has gotten in my face and he brushes it away. "If I get to rough you must tell me immediately."

At first it is a bit painful but then Cat slowly begins move up and down, and I follow like we're dancing again, though this a new dance and I'm just learning the steps. Once I loosen up, the pain retreats, scurrying back into the darkness and only pleasure remains.

I may not be reavealing who I am today, but I trust Cat with my body. I call his name as I teeter on the edge and then I fall over.

Cat finds a small sink in a darkness with a washcloth and wipes me down before we put back on our clothes.

We go back and the party is still in full swing, but out of the corner of my eye I see not Felix now, but Argos beckoning us to follow him urgently. Cat and I follow them, running up a elaborte staircase. "Ladybug, pull out your bugphone. I think you need to see this."

My heart starts to pound, and my mouth grows dry with fear as I bring up a live feed. "Ladybug! Cat Noir! It is I, Hawkmoth! Paris is no more as I search for your Miraculous, and I won't stop hunting until I find you!"

I cover my mouth with my hand. The Paris skyline is nearly invisible as smoke clouds fill the screen. "Paris is….destroyed?" My home wiped out and burned to ashes while I danced and loved my partner. "When was this?" "Today, during the wedding. There's nothing to for you to go back to, I'm afriad."

Thank goodness my parents are traveling abroad, or they could easily be dead right now. "Does that mean Hawkmoth fled Paris too?" I ask. Argos points to a grainy looking video. "Click this one." We huddle together as I zoom in, and Cat gives a strangled sound as Hawkmoth flees from the Agreste masion. "Hawkmoth is Gabriel Agreste?!" I shriek, forgetting to keep my voice down. Cat gives my back a little rub. "Now, we don't know that for sure, love."

"One is clear: He's in Paris no longer. I have heard rumors of a secret castle that he owns, way up in the mountains." "Which country?" Cat asks. "Right here, in Japan. But no one expect for a select few know its location." "Then Cat and I must go into the mountains too."

"Nothing else will happen this evening. We'll get you packed up and on your way in the morning." Kagami clears her throat. "Felix, they'll be wondering where we went."

I fight my own redness and I dare not look at Cat. "I'm sure they figured out, My Queen." I feel drained and can barely stay on my feet. "If you want to go dance the night away, Cat, I think I'll turn in."

"No, I'm going turn in too. But I'll walk you to your room." Cat puts his arm around my shoulder, and I wonder what he's thinking right now.

He kisses my cheek as he stops at my door, and smiles at me before turning to leave. I unlock the door to my room and walk in, everything so pretty and in the right place. Before I go into the mountains, I'll have to grab supplies from Paris, and say goodbye to my childhood home.

Sleep finds me eventually but I spend a long time in the window seat staring at the moon. You couldn't have known, I argue with myself. This isn't your fault.

Finally, sleep consumes me, though I sleep lightly. In the morning, I wake and shower quickly, braiding back my long black hair. This way, it won't get in the way, and I like the new style I've chosen. I know Felix won't mind if I leave a few belongings here, after all, I can always come back for them.

Cat is sitting in the breakfast nook, and I pause in the doorway. He's holding some sort of brooch or locket, and he's staring at it, lost in his own little world. "Morning. What's that?" I ask after I've filled my plate with protein and fruit and sip my coffee. Cat snaps the lid shut quickly. I sigh, guess even I slip at times at wanting to know his idenity. "Just some special people, Marinette. Even though one is no longer with us."

I drop my voice to a whisper. "We have to go back to Paris so I can supplies. And say goodbye." "Good. There's a few things I'd like to grab as well, as long as they weren't destroyed in the fire."

"Cat, Ladybug?" Argos walks into the room. "Before you go, we have some things to give you that will be helpful on your journey. Follow me."
