American Dragon Up! Season 02 Episode 04
We see that Rose had finally got to come back to school and they were glad to have her back. Though the rest of the group were away for the week for various personal reasons Jake and Haley both were still there, along with Trixie and Spud. Brad had been trying something and so Jake slipped a fireball unnoticed under his chair to heat things up, but the flames wouldn't set fire to the metal seat and was to close to it to burn anything under it either. This had caused Brad to jump up and trip over his chair again.
The entire classroom had laughed at him again and evetually it was time to head on out of school and so Jake had gone with Rose to catch up and find out if she'd gathered any new intel calling "Yo Rose, wait up." as he'd done so.
She'd stopped to wait for him and when he caught up the two began walking together heading somewhere more isolated while bundeled up due to the freak blizard that hit. "It's nice to be back, but the weather isn't so lovely when your fingers become popsicles." She'd stated to Jake who simply shrugged it off only having a winter jacket and pants instead of shorts instead of being bundled up like she was. "Seriously, how are you not cold?"
"Dragons have our own internal heating." Jake had explained to her with a shrug as they'd continued walking together "So, you got any idea what they're up to yet?"
Rose then let out a sigh and responded to him saying "Not really, I'm able to be out in the field again but they don't exactly trust me with plans just yet, what about your end?"
Jake shakes his head no in response before saying "Spud's been working on it but so far the encryptions haven't exactly been cooperative."
"Wish I could help but the Huntsmaster wouldn't trust me with the encryptions after so many failures and.." she'd began to say but then stopped and let out a sigh "He's had me on a much tighter leash and what's worse he's got Eighty Eight and Eighty Nine acting as apprentices too."
"Yikes, I wouldn't wanna deal with those two idiots either." He'd suddered responding to what she'd said about the two also working for the Huntsmaster while scooping up snow and making it into the shape of a ball.
"Hey, who are you calling Idiot?" Huntsboy 89 questioned having come out of where they were spying on them looking annoyed.
"DUDE, you just blew our Cover." Huntsboy 88 complained coming out as well and looking annoyed for different reasons.
"To be fair.." Jake spoke before throwing the snowball at 89 and knocking them over then continued saying "You guys are really bad at hiding."
"Oh you are so dead for that." 88 spoke making a snowball and throwing it at Jake but he'd moved out fo the way while Rose had made another snowball and thrown it at 88 knocking him over too.
The two of them ran off before the Huntsboys could get back up and once out of Sight Jake called "Dragon Up!" changing into his Dragon form and grabbed Rose flying off to somewhere esle before they could be spotted by anyone and setting her down in an alleyway before changing back to human and stating "Yesh, talk about a pain."
Rose sighs and nods in agreement saying "Ya, but they saw you, and no dobut they'll report the snowballs to the Huntsmaster too. It's probably best we avoid being seen together outside of school related stuff for awhile."
Sadly that did make sense to Jake and they'd agreed to hold off for awhile flying off in Dragon form to head over to his Grandfather's shop for a bit. The next day Jake was wandering the halls of the school with Trixie and Spud talking about yesterday.
"We descided that it was best we avoid being seen together outside of School related stuff for now." Jake told the two of them about the situation before quickly changing the subject by asking "So how's the data coming along?"
"It's slow going but I've gotten into some of their stuff, but nothing useful as of yet." Spud answered as they were heading on into class stating that he'd been making progress at least.
They'd gone to Science Class where the teacher was waiting for them all to sit down, it'd seemd that Brad had learned his lesson about flirting in class as they'd sat quietly instead of trying to hook up with Rose or any of the other pretty girls around and instead was actually trying to focus on whatever the teacher was saying.
"Alright class your scient assignment is to invent something that will impress myself and the rest of the class." The Science Teacher then stated to them. "I've already paired you up at random for this assignment."
Turns out they'd pared up Trixie and Spud along with Jake and Rose being on a team together also, the rest of the studnets, not so important to the story. They'd headed out after the bell rang and Jake went to catch up with Rose before they could head off without him.
"Yo, Rose, so where you wanna work on this thing at?" He'd questioned wanting to pick a place for them to study in peace.
"I gotta deal with Huntsclan stuff tonight, how about tomorrow around say.. six over on fourth street library?" Rose then explained to him about her current plans for what's going on.
"Right, sounds good." Jake agreed with that heading off to his Grandpa's shop for Dragon Training today going on over where Fu Dog had given him a funny look. "Uh, why are you staring like that?" he'd then questioned confused.
"Do not worry young dragon it is just the start of your motling cycle it will go away in a few days after you've shed your Dragon Scales." Lao Shi stated to him
"I can't be molting right now, I've got a study date with Rose tomorrow night." Jake stated as he began to freak out over that "Yo, is there like any sort of charms that can help with that?"
"Nope, you gotta let it run it's course." Fu Dog answered back to Jake causing him to start to freak out and worry about the molting thing.
"GUYS I found Something!" Spud called rushing in as he was breathing heavily. He'd opened up his laptop and revealed what he'd discovered with an image of a strange snake creature causing Lao Shi to worry.
"A Guardian Serpent. This is very serious your molting problems will have to wait as this will take top priority." Lao Shi spoke looking surprised and worried at the same time before getting serious and looking over at Jake while telling him about it. "The Guardian Serpents each protect one of thirteen mystical skulls that can grant any wish which means the Huntsmaster could wipe out all Magical Creatures forever."
The next night Rose was waiting for Jake at the library entrance when he'd come by in dragon form but stuck to the shadows and cleared his throat in order got get her attention, which she'd turned towards where the sound came from.
"Jake, that you?" She questioned walking towards where he was wanting to know if it was him or not that had come by.
"Ya, it's me, but I dobut you wanna see me right now." He then told her with a sigh choosing not to come out of hiding. "Its's a dragon thing and it's not a pleasant sight right now."
"Jake, I know what the Huntsmaster is up to he's after the Aztec Skulls." She'd told him about what she'd finally been told about for the plan.
"I know, Spud just cracked it earlier."Jake stated saying that he knows about the skulls thanks to Spud being able to tap into the plans finally.
"There's a plan to steal it, but you gotta get there first. The Huntsman has tracked it to a cavern in central park I gotta retrieve the skull tomorrow night with Eighty Eight and Eighty Nine, but it's imperetive that you get there first." She'd told him about what's about to be going down.
"No problem I'll get there tonight, after I finish my Molting Cycle I'll be returning to class in a few days. Be safe Rose." He then called back before then flying away before she could see what a molting dragon looked like.
"Good Luck Jake." She spoke watching him fly away and once he was out of sight she'd gone into the library to try to figure something out for the project so they at least wouldn't get an F on the subject.
The next night we see Rose along with 88 and 89 going into the lair of the snake and discovering that it was long gone along with the Skull as if they'd just up and vanished completely. We then cut to Jake with the serpent and he'd had the Skull in hand making a gesture for them to go on and so they'd moved to a new location diving into the waters and swimming away.
"That's one skull that the Huntsclan won't be getting." Jake spoke looking at it and changed into dragon form looking like he was in pain as he'd started pulling at the loosened skin ripping it to shreds and revealing the new scales underneath finally having completed the cycle.
